British Politics (was Spain Emulates Belgium...)

And there I was thinking British politics was in a mess, what with Brexit, Jeremy Corbyn etc.!

Well, Pedro has lost. He's been ousted, many socialists will now flock to Podemos, or will never, ever vote again.

Now, the PSOE will most surely allow a Rajoy-led government. A party with over 137 years of history just shot himself in prime time :P

Aquinas is a liberal. I keep warning non-Leftists to stop associating liberals with Leftists.

It's not a president in the sense of being a republic.

Surely this isn't a serious question? The man makes Michael Foot look like Pinochet.

Actually, in some ways I very much admire and respect Corbyn personally, although I'm not keen on some of his supporters. The main thing for me, though, is that he has effectively made Labour completely unelectable. And that means we're stuck with a Conservative government (and one, I fear, which is becoming increasingly right-wing...).

It's not.
