Particracy Forum Awards (NOW: Old Forums Memorial)

Postby GreekIdiot » Wed Apr 08, 2009 8:19 pm

I am bored and it's 23:00 so here goes my idea. There are five awards. Nominate and vote for each the person you think most deserves it. The people who can be nominated must have some kind of history back in the old forums. You may nominate as many as you like, but you can only vote one for each award, except on the case of the 5th award.

1) NASTINESS: The person with the nastiest vocabulary and behavior, who, despite the negative image, does not look like a complete and utter cunt.

2) BIGGEST SURPRISE: Who surprised you the most with their behavior.

3) BRAINIAC: Who do you think was most convincing and stable during off-topic discussions?

4) FUNNIEST: You want an explanation to that, too? If so, don't bother voting...

5) BEST RP: The person you think was the best RP player. For this award there will be 5 standings, as in there will be no first or second prize. There will be 5 winners. For this award you may vote for up to 4 people.

BEGIN!

Nasty George? lol

I think jethro surprised me the most with the New World Order and hall of the Saiserist drama. Although, I still find the most entertainment in Captain Socialist's hilarious antics with his Godwinist cult. XD

It's funny you bring this up.

I'd actually had an idea of 'Particracy Player Of the Month', decided by the mods. A lot of what we do can be seen as stopping negative behaviour.

Perhaps it's something we could do to encourage positive actions.

I can make this for every month if you like or I can delete this if you mods have better ideas. But my idea is still open and I'm waiting for nominations. If you have some better ideas for awards, propose them freely.

I agree on both, so I nominate. Note that I am not voting. The voting phase will begin when announced:

BEST RP:
- jethro (for his NWO menace idea)
- Captain-Socialist (the most craziest dictatorships in Terra)
- beeman (a truly Gaduridos soul)
- Dynastia (the all-time representative of Deltaria)
- Opakidabar (this guy, besides being very active, has the craziest RP ideas - black nation, Kalopian gay land, mafia nation, Baltusia porn state, for only that I'd vote for Op... :D )

BRAINIAC:
- Molotov (no explanation here)

NASTINESS:
- jethro (haha no explanation here either)

BIGGEST SURPRISE:
- Khaler (for his wicked plan with the Sekowo fiasco)

FUNNIEST:
- IdioC (nobody can replace him....aaah, although Joseph leans towards that as well)

I will add my candidates:
Best RP - George (because never seen him whining about any RP event. I think I could kill his character without consent (providing I have ground and possibility for that) and he would say hm, alright, Mr Killed One is replaced by ..., nation is in mourning)

Brainiac - convincing and stable during discussions? in Particracy? really? No one. The closest to that (my opinion) is Yankees

Nastiness - in the last week Khaler :)

Biggest Surprice - Jethro the anti-Racist (somehow it does not fit with weak should be killed, so strong can live attitude :) )

Funniest - Angry_Mollusc, I really enjoy his sense of humor

I could probably suggest that we dedicate these first awards to the old forums, but anyhow. ;)

Best RP: Hands down, FRP of Zardugal and Liberal Party of Lodamun. When you've managed to get people to make a comment such as, "English is my native language but, there is no way I'm reading all that." I think that qualifies as pretty high mark myself.
