ehh, it's one of those debates where both sides will claim their victory. The only thing that won for sure was that fly, he will live forever as a meme.

I think Harris realy messed up when she refused to answer the question about packing the courts, not to mention saying that they will role back Trump tax cuts and trying to say they won;t raise taxes on the middle class.

In fairness to Trump and Pence you have to give them credit for consistency. Trump refuses to condemn white supremacy during the first debate and then his Vice President denies the existence of systemic racism, they are at least open about the fact that they are white supremacists.

Yes, you can be a white supremacist and have a black man on your cabinet. That is called an "image wash". If all America was white supremacist, of course he wouldn't have a black man in his cabinet. But as he needs to collect votes from different people...
Also, let's make it clear, there can be black people supporting Trump, of course they can. And then you enter in the debate on the importance of "class consciousness" rather than "race consciousness" (btw, there is no such thing as races). About "he has enacted no law discrminating against blacks"... right, and what else? As if that is something to be thankful for.

People who are white sumpremecist are filled with so much hate that they would never have a black man on their cabinet, its not the same argument becuase having a black man on your cabinet (in a high up position) is different than having a mother or a girlfriend.

The argument you present here is totally self-defeating. If Trump did all these things and we know Trump to be a white supremacist then yes, a white supremacist would do all of these things.

Not taking sides here but I find this part to be a weirdly stated. First off, how is it self-defeating? John presented a valid argument against the ”white supremacist” narrative. But that isn't what I'm suprised over, what I am suprised over is the argument that ”If a white supremacist does counter-white supremacist actions, then he clearly is a white supremacist”, this argument I'm afraid does not hold for a second, how would you know that someone is a white supremacist then? What defines as a white supremacist? Does a white supremacist designate a white supremacist group a terrorist group? According to your argument yes, because ”a white supremacist would do such a thing”. A white supremacist would absolutely not have non-white people on his/her cabinet, that would defeat the whole ideology of white supremacy. Why would a white supremacist appoint minority judges? How can white people have supremacy if the judiciary is filled with non-white people.

And lastly, to John's question. How would we know Trump to be a white supremacist? If he does opposite actions such as those mentioned by John?
