ethnicity %s should add up to 100% now

Approved, apologies on the delay

In accordance with game rules, we must wait 48 hours before this update can be approved. A heads up, though, that you'll need to provide some justification for the large increase in Hosians.

With this protocol update (it's been 249 in-game years since the last update), we are decreasing all religions proportionally by around 25% to make up for a large increase in atheism and agnosticism. This increase is motivated by the in-game detailed political opinions (http://classic.particracy.net/viewopinions.php?nationid=17), that describe 15.4% as fanatical secular and 16.87% as extreme secular. We've used these percentages to set 15% atheism and 17% agnosticism, what seemed reasonable, and considered the rest of the most secular opinions as "not very religious" or "non-followers". All religions have been decreased proportionally, fine-tuning to make them add up to 100%.

Sorry but I'm not going to approve this change at the moment. Firstly, I don't feel the in-game opinions provide adequate justification for such a large-scale change in religious demographics. Secular doesn't necessarily mean the same as atheist or agnostic and it's entirely possible to be devoutly religious and secular too. On top of that, the document lists 'Lutheran Protestant' instead of simply Lutheran. Protestant is, of course, a real-life variable. A few minor changes to the religious section would be sufficient to resolve these issues. Apologies about the delay.

Religious section has been revised, reducing changes to a maximum of 5%.

It looks to be acceptable now, but we will have to leave it for the 48 hour waiting period required of all new CP's

Hi,

About three weeks ago (October 4th) I posted a revised Hulstrian Cultural Protocol for approval:

http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=538059

I was told I needed to wait 48 hours, in accordance with game rules, before the update was approved. However, I have not heard anything back and the cultural protocols index has not been updated. Could you let me know what the situation is. Thanks.

@David Arbuniel Protocols now approved.

@stuntmonkey Apologies, must have slipped through the net, approved now

@Polites As I am involved with these CP's I cannot approve them myself. I've asked a member of the RP team to look over them.
