I am requesting approval for this RP Law in Cildania. The law would ban anti-democratic parties (specifically anarchist, communist and fascist parties).

For the past two decades, Cildania has been role-played as a fragile democracy seeking political stability. In this context, it appears reasonable that mainstream parties would attempt to ban extremist parties. As I understand laws of this kind require strong role-play justification, I am including some role-play posts related to this.

In addition, I would argue that Cildania's current popularity (nine active parties) and the large number of inactive countries should be considered as factors too. At the moment, there are many other countries players are free to choose if they wish to role-play anarchist, communist and fascist parties.

Supporting role-play:

Formation of a national unity government composed of four pro-democracy parties: viewtopic.php?p=184721#p184721
Creation of a pro-democratic electoral alliance: viewtopic.php?p=184816#p184816
Post about Cildania's transition to democracy: viewtopic.php?p=184970#p184970
Report about anti-Yeudi violence linked to rise of far-right: viewtopic.php?p=185039#p185039
Legislator and former minister assassinated: viewtopic.php?p=185149#p185149
Government collapses: viewtopic.php?p=185295#p185295
Indecisive election result: viewtopic.php?p=185686#p185686
Violent protests against new government: viewtopic.php?p=185687#p185687
Agreement to reduce political tension: viewtopic.php?p=185710#p185710

I will review and make a decision.

Hello. I ask you to please review and approve this RP law.

This law proposes to make Tukarali a one-party country so that I can develop the country without interference. My objective since I arrived in Tukarali was exactly this: to develop my country without interference, but many parties started to appear and they ruined the RP.

I ask you to approve my RP law, so I can govern my country.

Denied. RP Laws which prohibit the establishment of specific types of parties or create a one party state require deep, complex and significant roleplay to have Moderation consider approval.

Please review this bill that was passed by players almost 1 year ago (or ~150 IG years). I didn't submit it at the time since I didn't know you had to submit such bills to moderation.

This bill serves mostly to address cases where players leave, making it so players don't have to wait until the next planned elections to fill the seats that are now missing.

Beiteynu: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=692686

The idea is fairly simple and has been the focus of 20+ forum posts and bills since 5200 (7-8 months ago?):

1. The Beiteynuese Law is a mix of a constitution and legislature, like Israel, essentially. It works much like RP Laws in requiring 2/3rds to pass "Acts" and simple majority to repeal them. It's explicit in 1) not violating game rules and 2) overriding game mechanics.
2. No big bang in introducing it; it has been hinted across quite organically like it was always there.
3. Tracked on https://particracy.fandom.com/wiki/Beiteynuese_Law and the wiki in general on a format of linking to forum posts and game bills.

It also introduces the concept of roleplaying permanent characters from government organisations under ministries, much like in real life. I saw this in Cildania recently and absolutely loved it. It gives a chance for players to do your traditional political roleplaying while also playing with favourite subjects (ex. tourism) outside of politics. I feel this is especially important as a platform, considering how "intimidating" and "complex" strong nations can feel for players.

Here's an example of our most recent appointments. http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=692744

So it's all full circle. The Knesset is ultimately the one that appoints and fires folks as per Beiteynuese Law; the Knesset is the one that updates and repeals both the Beiteynuese Law; the BL is essentially the details under the RP Law, which the Knesset again can repeal.

These sortve laws tend to be more voluntary than enforced by Moderation.

Hello.

I would like the following bill to be allowed as an enforced roleplay law: the Ordosocialism Restriction Act 5363 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=694126)

This is due to the Ordosocialist ideology (explained as a xenophobic and chauvinistic Marxist/rightist idea) having a history of potential harm to Kundrati and others - for example being that Kundrati hosted the first Ordosocialist Party (which later reformed into the Socialist Labour Party: http://classic.particracy.net/viewparty ... tyid=44247, also see viewtopic.php?f=17&t=397&p=179046&hilit=ordosocialist#p179046). Ordosocialists have also, notably, been involved in the kidnapping and assassination of a state's governor (see viewtopic.php?f=17&t=397&hilit=ordosocialist&start=220#p180331 and viewtopic.php?f=17&t=397&p=180403&hilit=ordosocialist#p180403) As a result of the ideology being reduced in influence over time the ideology has moved to other countries with notable effect.

Ordosocialists also have committed terrorism in countries like Beiteynu (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8552&p=181611&hilit=ordosocialism#p181611) and have been noted as a warlord faction in the Malivian Civil War (in one occasion attempting to down an allied naval fleet, viewtopic.php?f=17&t=397&p=181655&hilit=ordosocialism#p181655, for other occasions see viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1952&p=181612&hilit=ordosocialist#p181612 and viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1952&p=181612&hilit=ordosocialist#p181646). Such Ordosocialists (seen here in viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1952&p=186568&hilit=ordosocialist#p186568 and viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1952&p=186568&hilit=ordosocialist#p186568 and viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1952&p=186568&hilit=ordosocialist#p186592) tried to take over the Malivian state and expand piracy in the Artanian Sea and the Migrant's Pass - it got so bad that Dorvik themselves tried to stop Ordosocialist pirates (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=353&p=186653&hilit=ordosocialist#p186653) to get involved in the Malivian crisis.

Ordosocialists have also taken over a foreign government in Valruzia (viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1977&hilit=ordosocialism&start=890#p187109) with the intention of expanding such an ideology to neighboring countries like Baltusia, implying a possibility that the ideology could be used to commit either offensive warfare that Kundrati intends to avoid in Seleya or stoke potential civil war (which was also seen in a Junta coup d'etat in Valruzia against Ordosocialism, viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1977&p=186871&hilit=ordosocialism#p186871).

The Kundrati Union now sees Ordosocialism as a terrorist ideology that has harmed countries it has touched - Valruzia, Malivia for one example of Ordosocialist-aligned governments or warlords, and Beiteynu for Ordosocialist terrorist attacks - and seeks to avoid the country from being affected should an Ordosocialist government be a possibility inside Kundrati. For these reasons, I ask that this RP law (to reiterate, http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=694126) be considered as an enforceable roleplay law inside the Kundrati Union.

There shouldn't be a problem considering the depth and span of the arc. Allow us to make one final review with Aud and get back to you as soon as possible.
