Dankuk is proposing new cultural protocols (
http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=588996) and I want to voice my absolute opposition to this, firstly because of the fact that current protocols (
http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=581963) were approved on October 9. Going from this, it does not seem sensible to have such random adjustments in demographics, like suddenly adding an Indralan minority, boosting Kunihito population, or cutting the Draddwyr population, among other things.
However, my biggest complaint here, something which I have expressed before, is the use of subjective language in the protocols. I find it unacceptable for protocols to use such language; as they are a guiding document they should be based in objectivity. The general policy for protocols should include a requirement of objectivity.
This newly proposed Dranian protocol is less overtly subjective than the one that this player created a while ago but it still sprinkles in lines such as the "Far Right Draniano-Kyo dictatorship between 4181-4185" and the "federation regime was installed with foreign backing." Both of these statements are rooted in false statements made within RP and create a biased narrative on the history of Dankuk. Furthermore, these protocols erase Seodongyo, randomly introduces Yeudism, and puts in a religious description emphasizing the "sun kami" religious modification that the player consistently pushes despite multiple explanations of how that didn't fit with Dankuk's history.
Lastly, it is preposterous how North Korean dialect keeps getting utilized. It is hugely inaccurate to assert that "Korean words will likely not have English borrowings as the English counterpart culture did not influence Dankuk." For centuries Dranland existed with English as an official language and it makes perfect sense that the game's version of Korean would have the same English influences. There is also zero basis for the sudden addition of Wrnukaék or Kunihito as common languages.
