The Head of State in Lourenne should be Marcus III, King of Lourenne. However, it is Marcus III, King of Lourenne Mordecai Arundel. Mordecai Arundel is The Incorruptible Party's candidate for Head of State and was in office when Marcus III was made King.

I would be extremely grateful if this bug could be fixed.

The way you say it, it doesn't sound like a bug. The bill that goes from republic to monarchy always puts the guy in office on the throne.

You've got to change the country back to a republic for a bit, and run a candidate with the text of something like "." Hold an early election, then change back to hereditary system.
