How is my party still "unitarist-leaning"?

Party here:

Proposed bills:

Wouldn't my party be classified as federalist-leaning at the least? I've been trying to cram as many pro-decentralization policies as possible, yet at one point my party was classified as "moderate unitarist". Even more bizzare, the other parties are considered at the same level of unitarism as mine (http://classic.particracy.net/comparepa ... nationid=9), yet it does not take a genius to figure out how wrong that is!

Many players have found that their "Political Positions" do not move in an entirely satisfying way, but nevertheless, in general, I think the experience is that over time they begin to make sense if a party consistently votes in an ideologically consistent way on something.

Also, the Political Positions sometimes take a while to adjust. I notice a number of your pro-devolution bills are either still in the voting stage or have only recently passed. So maybe you will see a shift in the very near future.

Centralization was always the least easy to predict/explain in my experience.

Still classified as this despite practically all my bills supporting devolution to local governments. Without an increase in this rating, my party will remain stagnant at the polls.

I know I am not entitled to this game nor is it required to be met with my satisfaction, but I cannot continue to play if the game outright refuses to increase my federalist leanings despite creating bills that are completely focused on devolving to local governments. What am I doing wrong here?

I have investigated the laws you proposed in your recent pro-devolution bills and found, to my alarm, that some of them have erroneous variables attached. In other words, instead of pushing a party's positions towards "Devolution", they were pushing it towards "Unitarism".

The laws concerned have now been fixed. If you propose those laws again, you should (fingers crossed!) see a more satisfactory shift in your positions.

I intend to undertake a review to check whether there are similar issues with other laws in the game.

Much appreciated.
