The Istalian Government rejoices at seeing that even Beiteynu joins to the condemnation of Saridan, although we would like to ask you, as Majatran Member of the Security Council, to bring clarity to these episodes:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=52&start=300#p107411

News about "final solution" and that talk about "ethnic purity" concerned "a little" me.
And I wonder if Beiteynu and its Government held by the Conservative Party are in the position to comdamn someone, a nation which apply segregation of minirity and, evidently, also deportation of them.

Could the Government of Yishelem explain this "final solution"?

And Beiteynu want condamn Saridan? You are about to introduce in your nation slavery with the exploitaion of the "Class B Citizens"! Class B Citizens?

Ambassador Fulgi incredulous sits casting a mixed reprimand look toward the Beiteynu delegation then starting talking with other members of its delegation.

David Grünberg, ambassador of the Yeudish Republic of Beiteynu:

I thank the Istalian ambassador for his remarks. As this is a highly political question and i am only a civil servant I can only refer the ambassador to the minister of foreign affairs. Nevertheless, the government of Beiteynu intends to stress the need for law and order which we try to achieve by declaring a SOE. The past has shown, that a SOE is an effective measure ot fight terrorist insurgence and possible disruptions.
The buzzword which was used is, one might say, very wide off the mark and certainly not the best choice as far as I can see, especially when taking into account negative external and internal effects which of course are always to be considered, as the amabassador will surely notice, when making or indeed creating or indeed discussiong laws or directives or in this case even certain more important laws, which indeed in this case constitute the first of many to come, at this stage and as far as relative fact can be observed and be interpreted in this direction. Furthermore, the Knesset, as you well know, has paid much attention to the fact, that names of certain acts do indeed or might, as in this case, when all relevant fact have been considered, interact with a degree of resentment and fear about an inner feeling of politcians or countries. This will be however a chellenge to polticians and as far as I can see and at this stage not to civil servants and consequently not in this more democratic case, then originally thought.
I refer the ambassador to the executive explanation and statutory regulations of this directive, as soon as it is published, due to security reasons there might be a time lag.

Addendum:

The Knesset also is at the moment also establishing a select committee on democratic rights (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=493315). Furthermore, I would also to emphasize that Beiteynu is one of few countries with a constiutitonal court.
The current Prime Minister and President, David Stern, is also to step down soon which might lead to changes.

Giovanni Paolo Fulgi, the Istalian Ambassador to the World Congress addresses the General Assembly:

My Government and I think all the World Congress applaudes the initiative of the Beiteynu Government. We're really happy to see us in a dialogue with a government ready to discuss and accommodate us. I'll refer this initiative to the Security Council, we would like ask to Beiteynu the disponibility to receive international observators leaded by the World Congress to ascertain the current conditions prevailing in the country and to ensure an analysis and a judgment as democratic as possible by the Committee.

As proposed to your government, ambassador Grünberg, Istalia propose a diplomatic mission leaded by the General Secretary of the World Congress.

Thank you for the cooperation.

Giovanni Paolo Fulgi, the Istalian Ambassador to the World Congress addresses the General Assembly:

My Government wants to blame the Endralon's Government for the odious and hateful declaration against the Istalian Nation, People and Culture and for the expulsion of our embassy and our diplomatic personnel.
Endralon's worlwide press release: http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews. ... sid=531377

The Endralon's Government with this statement implicity declared its support to the atrocious crimes perpetued in Saridan.
Given the accusations of "colonialist and imperialist behavior" Istalia want reaffirm that we don't need and we don't want establish colonies or imperialist control on other Nations, this is are clearly objective and interest of other nations.
Istalia will not be intimidated by trivial and vulgar insults and ridiculous statement about our women or our food will not make us desist from continuing to defend the dignity of human life.

Thank you

Lukas Kolb, Representative of the Pan Dundorfian League:

Honorable Persons, the Pan Dundorfian League would like to make it clear that we do not support slavery but we are ardently opposed to any military intervention in the area. We of the PDL would rather employ the use of international dialogue and, if that fails, economic sanctions. Any military intervention could pave the way for neocolonialist occupations and regional destabilization.

Countess Efrremova, the Trigunian Ambassador to the World Congress addresses the General Assembly:
While most nations are mostly talking about Saridan and its practice of slavery (except the Istalian Ambassador), I would like to start talking about Deltarian serfdom. Our nation has had historic and cultural ties with Deltaria, and we wish the best for it. Because of this, I propose to send a diplomatic mission to persuade the Deltarian government to abolish the practice of serfdom. However, if this does not happen, a trade embargo might force them to budge. But, if in the end, the Deltarian government does not abolish serfdom, unfortunately, the Trigunian government will have to put military pressure on Deltaria. In this worst case scenario, we would like to ask the honourable members of the Security Council to endorse, or at least permit, this move. However, hopefully, military pressure will not be required. Thank you.

Countess Efremova, the Trigunian Ambassador to the World Congress addresses the General Assembly:
I would like to say that the Trigunian Imperial Assembly has passed an embargo on the Ameliorate Republic of Saridan. From now on, it shall be consisered a criminal offense to allow trade between the nations of the Trigunian Empire and the Ameliorate Republic of Saridan. We hope that the Saridanese government will understand that the international community want slavery gone. Thank you.

Oscar Machado, Kalistani Ambassador to the Security Council, addresses the General Assembly:
I completely commend the work down by my honourable friend from Trigunia. Once again, the Empire proclaims itself as a beacon of liberty and democracy; Kalistan is proud to call this nation an ally! Furthermore, I would like the General Assembly to observe that the Deltarians have recently elected a party which wishes to end slavery in the nation and I hope this will be achieved soon.
