Cynthia Amphion, Selucian Ambassador

We cannot support the election of permanent members for the Security Council, as it would be a mess. We prefer the current system, were every x years, nations are elected according to the support they have among their continents. However, it would be interesting to give the World Congress a key in the Security Council, with something like the possibility of removing a member and replacing it with an agreed candidate if x number of ambassadors agree, and with at least x number of ambassador from the same continent than the nation that would be removed agreeing too. This would encourage the members of the Security Council to work towards a better world,
and not to be passive about what happens. Further links between the SC and the WC would assure that everyone complies with what it is decided here.

Regarding the issue of child labour, there are differences. There is a difference between allowing children to work in conditions according to their age and physical and physical capacities, with a respectable salary and the consent of their parents, and force children to work in extreme conditions, with low salaries or against the will of their parents. Selucia will never support child labour of under 16s, as our nation thinks the best place for a child is in school learning, but we allow ovver 16s to work while studying if this is their will, to earn a salary and pay for what they want.

Cyrille Rodier, Rildanorian Ambassador

Members of the World Congress,

Rildanor formally requests that an observation mission be sent to Istalia with the aim of bringing to light the machinations and dastardly schemes of our most imperialist Security Council... friends...

This mission, the WCISASCAM (World Congress anti-Imperialist Sovereignty And Security Coalition Against Malpractices) for short, should report monthly, if not more frequently, on the actions not only of the Istalian government itself insofar as those actions pertain to the abuse of sovereignty everywhere, but also report as frequently on the actions of Istalian World Congress ambassadors and employees, as considerable evidence points to the fact that Istalians now seek to profit from their role on the SC in the Badara affair just as they sought to profit - unsuccessfully, thanks to our Kanjorian friends, from the situation in Vorona.

We ask for full support from all nations for the idea that WCISASCAM, and yield the floor.

Adriano Testanera:

We've come to the top of the surrealism! To the ultimate and total ridiculization of this Organization! But what nonsense motives are these? This is defamation in full swing! Advantages from Badara? Try to limit the sufference of milion of people is try to have benefits? What kind of benefits? First of all, our position is totally neutral, we have already warned the interested parties of this; Therefore, we have already informed the Security Council asking for support and advice to handle the situation; Finally, our only thought for this conflict so far has been addressed to the refugees, the true victims of this war.
After having succeeded in allowing the parties to cease the fire and therefore to meet them in order to find a solution, are we attacked in this way? Scandalous! Before talking, Rildanor will have to bring evidence and concrete facts about these ridiculous accusations! But we are already aware that nothing will be brought to the attention of this assembly, as nothing has ever brought by nations that on other occasions have fallen to similar and petty power games.

Imperialism... fighting a crime against humanity is imperialism? Wanting to save thousands and thousands of people from the yoke of slavery is imperialism? We sincerely hope that in Rildanor its citizens should never experience to be reduced to be and treated like objects.
Does Rildanor's government have any shame to ridiculize itself in this way? What intellectual dishonesty has your Government taken over?
But most importantly, the most shameful thing is to know that around the world there are nations and governments that have stained the most atrocious crimes against humanity, but Rildanor, the only mean thought of Rildanor, is accusing Istalia for wanting to persecute some slaver criminals!

Ah... what a shame... at what level of baseness this country has come, they and the worthy ones of Kanjor, who became ridiculous in the face of the world with another clear defamatory campaign against Istalia, accusing us of exploitation of child labor when there are countries, such as Davostag for example, where 12-year-old children are considered as adults and therefore passable for any exploitation possible! This is an outright persecution! But keep going, we'll see if your ridiculous and nasty attempts will find all the support you claims into the Assembly. Kanjor can safely refrain from answering, I think it's a no-brainer that they will follow their rildanorian mates! Then who else? Beiteynu? It would be interesting if they supported such a mission when they themselves refused to cooperate or give access to similar missions several times. So? Kafuristan? Another nation tired of its theocratic isolationism? And then who else?
Rildanor could address to one of the members of the Security Council so that a Resolution can be created, we will see if this organization really wants to follow such a circus!

We absolutely support the initative of Rildanor. It is time that we find out why Istalia is so much against the concept of national sovereignity. And yes this organization has become a laughing stock since it now debates about child labour: Clearly a matter for every country to decide.

Olimpio Gracchus, Leader of the National Socialist Party of Zardugal:

These are preposterous claims made by the Rildanorian Ambassador and we oppose the mission and deplore its true motives.

It is clear now that Rildanor in cahoots with Kanjor have begun a concerted smear campaign against Istalia.

Why, you may ask? The answer is simple: because some years ago Istalia refused to change its vote for Security Seat C to Rildanor and instead exposed flaws in their campaign.

Ambassador Rodier was Foreign Secretary of Rildanor then and it is clear he still bears a grudge now.

Is this how it is going to be if Rildanor win a seat on the Security Council? Can we look forward to 15 years of petty slights and playground games rather than serious discussion about solving the humanitarian problems Terra faces? What a farce you make of world affairs, Ambassador Rodier. Shame on you!

Cyrille Rodier, Rildanorian Ambassador

Ah, how the oppressors wail and moan when they are made to drink the piss that the body of Terra has made from the rancid wine they've forced down our throats for centuries.

Does the Ambassador from Zardugal think that the rest of Terra forgets its own past as a warmongering crusader for "Democracy?" It was under the guise of "spreading democracy" that Zardugal became worse even than the monarchist imperialists it claimed to oppose. No one in Dovani lives a life unmarred by Zardugali oppression and meddling, no one in Majatra lives free of the tremendous debt of despair and destruction that Zardugal wrought when it was at the head of the Alliance of Terran Republics, when it was at the head of a movement to rid Majatra of the rightful and stabilizing influence of Vanuku, Deltaria, and Jelbania. It is no surprise that Zardugal should now speak up in the oppressors' defense - they are the oldest oppressor in the world, only now brought low by their own decrepitude and uselessness.

We hereby demand that the President of the General Assembly tells the Istalian delegates to withdraw their earlier statement for being disrespectful. This is surely not the behaviour we can expect as world standard of diplomacy. A total ban of the Istalian delegation to speak in the General Assembly might be the right decision.

On another matter: How many resolutions of the Security Council are illegal since they were not discussed beforehand in the General Assembly, because the Security Council is expected to allow for opinion of the General Assembly? I quote out of the founding document of this organization: "As a result, it is expected that the Security Council consults the General Assembly when considering resolutions."

Friends, it has come to my attention that Mr. Gracchus is not even a legitimate representative of the will of Zardugal, and that the true government of Zardugal continues to do what it has done best for the centuries since the Jelbics overthrew their oppressors, and that is to remain blissfully silent. Nevermind my previous comments - they were directed at a lunatic who thinks that his insignificant party's opinion should be enough upon which to base World Congress policy.

Shahpar Kavarana, Aldegarian Ambassador to the World Congress:
It is with great pride and honour that I come before the World Congress' General Assembly to celebrate a most brilliant and fantastic occasion. His Most High Majesty Shahnam II- the Yazdān-Worshiping, Divine, Most Glorious Ruler of the House of Pesuna; Shah of the Aldegarians; King of Baltusia; Prince of Luthori; Guardian of the Sacred Fire; Light of the Ezadi and Head of the Warriors- celebrates his sixty-fifth birthday today.

In an inspiring and captivating speech to Terra, watched by billions, he made a remarkable announcement. While he slept last night, His Most High Majesty was spoken to by Yazdān himself and informed that he was due to receive a spectacular birthday present- the continent of Majatra. Therefore, in accordance with the desires of the Aldegarian government, His Most High Majesty and Yazdān, I am asking the World Congress to recognise Majatra as the personal property of Shahnam II of Aldegar. Peace and prosperity will soon be brought to a previously uncivilised continent.
