Ambassador Otto Zunke, *** looking somewhat hot under the collar***

Gathered delegates,

I have received word from my government regarding the "evidence" put forward by the Istalian Ambassador, Parmesan.

The Reichskanzler... utterly refutes the allegations, false evidence and edited image files presented here and condemns the Istalians for planting falsehoods in a bid to fulfil its imperialist agenda. He also condemns the Security Council for sending spies into Ostland under the pretence that they were humanitarian aid workers.

As a result, all borders into and out of Ostland are now closed - no humanitarian staff will be allowed to enter and none allowed to leave until they have been processed, to ensure they are not spies.

Finally, our government has no intention to leave its protectorate of Ostland, which we have bravely safeguarded from the ravages of the plague. This matter is final and none negotiable.

Prof. Seodoru Fukuyama

Honourable delegates,

Hear now the response of a guilty man representing a criminal organisation that masquerades as a government. I am authorised by my government to announce that we now consider ourselves not merely in opposition to this regime, but in open war against it, and directed to assemble a coalition to stop the genocide and displace these villains from power.

Time is of the essence. The only possible reason they do not want anyone in Ostland must be that they intend to commit even more heinous acts of genocide against my people, my Gao-Showan brothers and sisters, some of whom have Crownlander nationality. A coalition must be assembled now to force the Hulstrian forces from Ostland and, indeed, from control over the Crownlands, for which they have now lost all legitimacy. You can rest assured that the armed forces at our disposal, however modest, will be fully available to wage this just war and will answer the Hulstrian Party's aggression against the citizens of Gao-Soto and their Ostlander brethren in kind.

Ambassador Hldjezesti Lahm of the Kingdom of Vanuku

Honoured delegates, representatives and others,

I have been ordered by Prince Jebr Banmek-Sntazed to make a public statement to this esteemed Assembly. The Prince is the Minister of Foreign Affairs for our nation, and with the resignation of the Prefect has also become the Acting Prefect of the Kingdom of Vanuku. The King, cabinet, parliament and the entire nation were shocked by the revelations from Ostland. As the leading Jelbic nation Vanuku has always fought against genocide, racism and apartheid. We Jelbics have always been at the receiving end of such treatments so therefore I can bravely state; woe to those who attempt to do such to others.

The Kingdom of Vanuku is severing all ties with the regime of Hulstria and is putting her entire weight behind a honest monarchist candidate. Enough has been enough, honoured delegates, we must act. The Kingdom of Vanuku calls for an international mission to liberate Ostland and Hulstria itself. Vanuku's First Fleet is returning to her home port in Havendam to be fully geared for a mission against genocide, against repression, against injustice! A full invasion force will be prepared, and now we look towards our former adversary Istalia. Ambassador Parmesan, is your nation willing to cooperate with us to see justice brought to this world?

Cynthia Spirou, Leader of the Opposition of Selucia and Secretary of In Marea-Civis Sinistram

Respectable members of this camera;
I come here today with sad news, announcing the probable end of democracy in one of the longest democracies in Terra. The current Government of Selucia, made of by Factio Regimen Immutata, Factio Foedarati, Factio Liberum Insulae and Capitalismi Motus Modern, decided to leave behind their political views just to form a zombie cabinet, and are now trying to implement fascist policies that need to be stopped before it's too late.

This is the current law being discussed in our Senate. As you can see, if this law passes, which I'm afraid will do seeing the composition of our senate, this will mean that a prosecution against minorities will start, and a religious cleansing will take place in Selucia. This religious cleansing would also mean to arrest most of the members in my party, as we have already announced that we will not pledge to a dictatorship and we will not belong to a religion that we don't believe in, and specially under these circumstances.

I call this camera to act as soon as possible against the atrocities that probably will happen.

I hope this law is rejected, but I'm not very optimistic...

Rudolf Bernstein, Leader of the Volkskommunistische Partei in Narikaton-Darnussia:

Friends and allies, I come to you today to ask for your support and oversight as tensions rise in Narikaton-Darnussia.

I come today not as a politician or a Communist or a Metzist, but as a man of the people and a proud supporter of democracy.

Perhaps you are unaware of the recent events in Narikaton-Darnussia. Soon you shall be even more unaware. Why? The government’s plan to censor the international media and ban anti-government material entering into the news.

This has spawned from recent aggressive attacks from the far-right paramilitaries against the left-wingers in our nation, which actually form a majority, despite falling just short by one seat in the legislature. Of late, the people have been leading large protests against the government. Their response? Send in the paramilitaries, which we have asked to be banned for precisely this reason, who have assaulted our people and attacked our protesters.

Experts are already warning against civil war. I too would like to avoid this dreadful fate, but the people grow angry. I have had no choice but to establish a Communist paramilitary to defend against the far-right. Both sides number in their millions.
The streets have turned to warzones. With the government now looking to oppress free speech even further and deploy the national military, it seems increasingly likely that a fresh civil war will break out.

What are we to do? We have two options as the VKP. First, we appeal to our friends in the WC to help us avoid this fate. Or we continue to let the people be oppressed, respond with violence, and spiral into a civil war.

I know which I would prefer.

Konstantiniano Triĥo, Coburan opposition politician:

Honoured members of the General Assembly,

Thank you for hearing me at giving me the platform and audience to express my concerns. At this time, Cobura is being ruled by a socialist/communist regime for several years now. This dictatorship,
lead by Dimitrio Aburo, is opressing minorities, dehumanizes prisoners and citizens and spits on the most basic human rights. The current government is a firm supporter of Coburan 'state atheism', meaning they have forbidden religion or religious expressions as a whole. People in Cobura, which used to be majority religious, are being opressed and pressured by this law that violates the most basic human rights. Freedom of belief is one of the main foundations of human rights and since the Coburan government is in no way sensitive for internal pressure, I beg the World Congress to condemn the government of Cobura for its dehumanizing policies and neglection of human rights. The people of Cobura will not go to the election box until 4312, as determined by the regime who wants to postpone its downfall as much as possible, thats why we need international pressure on the Coburan government to protect the people of my nation from the inhumane practices of the Socialist Alliance. We ask the countries of the World Council to condemn the Coburan government and underline the importance of new elections. A wise man once said: ''If the WC is prone to safeguarding the peace on Terra, they must see the first signs of conflict immedeately to ensure no humans will be opressed''

Thank you.

Henrik Melsbach, President of Aloria:

Members of the General Assembly:

I am here today to ask the nations of Terra to condemn and take action against the Beluzian government. The Wewecho regime is corrupt, undemocratic and totalitarian. The Business and Development Party has continued its authoritarian rule over Beluzia, and it will continue to persecute political opponents, minorities and innocent Beluzian citizens unless we take action. All countries, Artanian nations in particular, must do more to protect the Beluzian people. This can only mean one thing - regime change in Beluzia and democratic elections to be held.

Currently, we are providing military aid to Beluzian opposition groups and are seriously considering further action against Beluzia. However, all nations must do more. The Beluzian government is taking taxpayers' money and giving it to corrupt officials, including Prime Minister Wewecho Pantafloja. The latest budget shows they are taking money that should be used to fund public services and giving it to people such as the prime minister who have blood on their hands for the thousands of deaths which have happened under his regime. Deaths which he caused but will not take responsibility for.

I plead other nations to help us in the fight against this undemocratic force.
