Kalkali party in Malivia "an ugly wart on one of the greatest and most progressive nations in Terra," says Guttmacher
Gisela Guttmacher, General Secretary of the Communist League of Terra (CLT) has hit out at Malivia's new Kalkali (OOC: Indian) dominated People's Party:
It is so inspiring to see what the socialist government is achieving in Malivia, and how they are taking that society forward and setting such a positive example to the rest of the world. Look, for example, at how they are standing up for working people and human rights, and look at how they have valiantly championed the underdog when it comes to having the guts to take on the vile Hulstrian dictator, Leopold Nimitz.
There is so much that is good and right about this beautiful, wonderful country that it is just such, such a shame to see what is happening with this new party that has arrived there. They call themselves the "People's Party", but they are anything but. They don't stand for the people; they stand for the greedy vested economic interests of the global corporate elite. Anand Singh and his supporters want to change that country by stealth, they want to take power and control away from the people, and give it away to a small wealthy elite.
The worst thing is they are playing the race card, creating divisions between Kalkalis and Esinsindus where before there were none. The irony is that it is Singh and his group who are the racists. Who are these people? They are the Kalkali elite, and the Kalkali elite can't stand the fact they no longer rule over Malivia in the way they once did. Although they try to hide it, the fact is they loathe the Esinsindus and want to marginalise them as much as possible, all the time chanting false accusations of racism in order to justify what they are doing.
As communists, our message to the Malivian people is that what matters is not race, but social class and economic, social and political power. That's why I am urging all of the Malivian people to unite behind their current government, because it is a good government and it is working in the interests of the broad mass of the people, without regard to what their racial background is. The People's Party is an ugly wart on one of the greatest and most progressive nations in Terra, and I can only hope it will be lanced away soon.
