BREAKING: Minosasa Heavily Condemns Deltaria and Jakania
- The President denies that the Kalopian Administration had any role in Deltarian assassination
- Calls for widespread Jakanian Sanctions following "undeniable" Jakanian influence in Kalopian elections
- Announces that Kalopian Soldiers and Paramilitaries will be posted at the Deltarian border

Minosasa, renowned for controversy despite falling relatively silent during his time as President, has viciously laid into both Jakania and Deltaria, calling them "imperialistic and war mongering blights," which should be dealt with by democratic and honest nations. He said that both were "terrified" at regional competition in South Majatra, and knew the capabilities of Kalopia. The President said that his party were delivering for Kalopia, and would continue to defend it to their best ability - which meant a willingness "to fight and end those who wish to end [Kalopia]."

Originally focusing on the Czar's Assassination in his hour long address to the Grand National Assembly, he described Istalia's decision to suspend ties with Eleopolis as "disappointing," accusing Deltaria of wrecking Kalopia on the world stage. Appealing to Istalia, he looked directly into the camera when he said that Deltaria were using Kalopia as a way of preventing Istalia from rightfully spreading the ideals of democracy, liberty, and progress across Majatra. Minosasa also reminded the world that the evidence was presented to the team by Deltarian detectives, making it "practically useless," and pleaded for the international community to see through the "lies and deception" of aggressors Deltaria.

However, he did send a direct warning to Deltaria that any military maneuvering would be refuted with full Kalopian force. Arguing that he had an obligation to protect Kalopian citizens, he said that he could not allow for open aggression. He announced his plan to send 45,000 Kalopian troops to the border to prepare for any preemptive attacks from Deltaria. He also called for paramilitaries to join in, and do their job for the country.

He then focused his attention upon Jakanian meddling in the elections. Saying that it cost the Reform Party a majority in Kalopia, he argued that Jakania were not thinking about peace, and that unless they walk away, they were asking for conflict. He gave the Assembly a bold promise of placing heavy sanctions on Jakania for their illegal role in Kalopia's election. He said that a full scale corruption investigation would take place to see if any politician accepted Jakanian support.

In an aggressive ending to the speech, Minosasa labelled both nations as "imperialistic and war mongering blights." Yet again appealing to Istalia, he said that Kalopia did not in anyway condone the assassination of another nation's Head of State, but refused to extradite innocent individuals to a "corrupt and deceitful" country. He said that whilst he had no doubt that all four cabinet ministers would be proved innocent in a trial, he claimed that it would be a "disgrace to Kalopia, Terra, and every justice system in the world" for such a trial to go ahead.

BREAKING: Shots Fired on Deltarian-Kalopian Border
- Dramatic escalation as several shots are exchanged
- Kalopian Military confirms three soldiers were injured, but no fatalities
- President blames Deltaria and calls it an act of war

Image

Shots have been exchanged on the Deltarian-Kalopian border as troops faced each other off for thirty minutes of terror, firing at each other. It is believed that three Kalopian soldiers were injured in the stand off, but it is not known if any Deltarian troops were hurt in the exchange. The two nations now appear on the brink of war as Kalopia blamed Deltaria for an "inflammatory" and "illegal" attack, placing its whole military on standby.

It is not known which side initiated the gunfight, with either side of the border accusing the other of starting it. The Kalopian troops, located in Northern Siphina, engaged with the enemy for half an hour before the Ministry of Defence ordered them to stand down, in order to wait for backup. Although this backup arrived, a battlefield decision to not reengage was made, as conflict had subsided.

The Minister of Defence, Musa Kongoli, who is himself one of the accused cabinet ministers in the assassination of Czar Norbert I, warned Deltaria that their "unprovoked, unwarranted, and unnecessary attack" placed both nations at risk of war. The President also condemned Deltaria for the escalation, calling it an act of war on Deltaria's part. An emergency meeting was held in the early hours of the morning, where it is believed that the President was given possible military options by military leaders, although it is not apparent whether he plans to use them.

BREAKING: Kalopia Pours Troops to Solentian Border to Combat Wall Building

Kalopia has mobilised 70,000 soldiers, and an extra 15,000 paramilitants, at the Solentian border, in order to respond to the Solentian Government's decision to begin building a wall between the two nations. Warning that Kalopia had no qualms about using military force, the Prime Minister announced to the Grand National Assembly that he had already made contact with both the Foreign Minister and the Leader of the Opposition in order to express Kalopia's anguish over the matter.

The sheer number of troops sent to the Solentian border is astonishing especially due to the escalation in tensions between both Jakania and Deltaria recently. The total 85,000 figure is larger than both the taskforces on the Jakanian (30,000), and Deltarian (45,000) combined. It appears that Kalopia has not forgotten its grudge against Solentia, and has expressed this through the mighty military operation that has taken place in order to effectively move all troops in Mossavi towards the border.

Analysts claim Solentia's motives are opportunistic: using Kalopia's unrest in the West to go ahead with a wall that now appears to have always been the end goal for the FNB. Solentia have cancelled all contracts with the large Kalopian Defence Companies, opting to go alone and produce their own weaponry and ammunition. Whilst this may increase their strength in the long term - not having a reliance on foreign nations - their short term position is compromised. It appears that not even the FNB predicted the level of retaliation from the Kalopian Government.

Assembly Member, and Foreign Affairs expert, Cirket Korkizoglou, has warned Solentia that they do not have any "any legs to stand on". He criticised their move, arguing that a weak economy would leave Solentia at risk of all out invasion if Kalopia took the decision to press forward with a military campaign. Korkizoglou also disclosed that the Kalopian Government had approached Solentia to repair and increase relations between the two nations, but that these offers fell on deaf ears.

Sadly for Solentia, it appears their government is planning its own suicide currently. Their defense industry depends on Kalopian and Istalian money, and it will take years for a State sponsored Solentian alternative to offer the same level of quality that Kalopian companies offer Solentia currently. Further to that, their aggressively isolationist stance has led to a weak economy - nobody wants to trade with a nation that is going to put tolls on your lorries. Were they to have accepted talks offered by Kalopia several years ago, Solentia would have had much potential. Sadly, however, the FNB are leading it down a self destructive path to defeat.

BREAKING: Prime Minister Reportedly Drilling Out Compromise with Solentia

Reports have announced that the Prime Minister is currently in the process of finding a compromise between Solentia and Kalopia. Whilst no details have been released, nor has any statement on how the progression of these talks are going, the Office of the Prime Minister of Kalopia released a statement confirming that discussions with the Solentian government had been started by the Prime Minister and are currently "on-going".

BREAKING: New Reports from Solentia Say 70,000 Figure "Made Up"

The government claim to have sent 70,000 troops to the Solentian border. However press outlets in both Jakania and Solentia are reporting that the taskforce at the border is a mere 20,000. The Office of the Prime Minister refused to comment on the reports, but the Defence Ministry said that initial troop estimates: "may have been slightly exaggerated."

BREAKING: Kusturica to Resign, as Kalopia Forced to Retreat
- Prime Minister resigns after being bullied into accepting all of Solentia's conditions
- Says replacement should return focus to the Western border
- Finance Spokesperson, Kapllani, to take over role as Parliamentary Leader, and Candidate for PM
- Temporary PM, Kapllani, to remove all presence at Solentian border

Image
Provisional Prime Minister, Kolenta Kapllani. Pending support from the Ultra Nationalists, she will take over the reigns of the country until the next election.

Kalopia have been given a major blow by their neighbours Solentia, as they have been forced to accept all of Solentia's demands for a border fence. In a damaging result for its position in Majatra, Kalopia has conceded under the pressure of fighting on two fronts, with both Jakania and Solentia teaming up to warn Kalopia to stand down troops. As a result of this failure, the man responsible, the Prime Minister, Miralem Kusturica, has resigned in disgrace, and will retire from public life.

It all began by lying about the number of troops on the border. Whilst Kusturica claimed that 70,000 were sent over to respond to the supposed Solentian threat, in actuality the number appears to only be 20,000. What followed, however, was even more of a debacle. In his resignation, Kusturica claimed that compromise after compromise was hurled at Solentia to avail. Despite this, Kusturica saw every single one of Solentia's demands matched, and an eminent Kalopian retreat ordered.

It is believed that the main reason for his failure is Jakania's promise to attack Kalopia should the latter attack Solentia. Whilst military analysts believe that Kalopia has the military acumen, with the funding from the Kazulian government, to have the upper hand were they to be at war with just one of the nations; most concur that a war on two fronts would result in the "complete and utter annihilation" of Kalopia.

Kusturica's replacement, experienced, and uncontroversial Cabinet Minister, Kolenta Kapllani, has removed all troops from the Solentian border, and has stated that Kalopia's focus must remain of the "aggressive" behaviour of Deltaria and Jakania. Issuing a formal apology to Solentia, she said that her predecessor's actions had been "rash, unreasonable, and unjustified". Promising a new shared cabinet with the Ultra Nationalists, Kapllani suggested that her party had become corrupt on power over the preceding years, and that she wished to remove those looking for power.

She didn't, however, lax on the issue of Jakania. In a very upfront manner, she said that Jakania was risking war with Kalopia, and that it would be a result of the aggressive policies of the President. Whilst she maintained that Kalopia would never begin a conflict with their Turjak neigbours, she did blame Jakania for taking Majatra "this close" to a catastrophic war.

I do not know fully what went on between either Miralem Kusturica and Solentia, or Solentia and Jakania. I am sure I will be updated about the former soon. However, what does appear apparent from what I have seen is that it is actually the actions of Jakania that are risking all out war. I do not believe that Solentia nor Kalopia would be particularly happy with fighting each other. Solentia is currently in the process of overhauling their defence industry, whilst Kalopia has all of its troops protecting the West side of the country from more pressing threats. However, it was Jakanian meddling - like they did in our elections - that has risked bloodshed.

Kapllani is a more conserved character than the more aggressive Kusturica, and it will be interesting to see what direction she takes. She will most certainly want to make the impression that she more control over what is going on than what Kusturica ended up having. This is shown in her promoting Cirket Korkizoglou to the position of Foreign Affairs Minister, him being a former leading Foreign Affairs Expert. Whilst, Kalopia's attitude towards her western neighbours may not change, the way she approaches dealing with them, is what the new Kapllani Ministry will be about.

BREAKING: Kapllani Delight at Solentian Desire for Closer Ties
- Prime Minister says that Solentia and Kalopia have the potential for a "long, honest" relationship
- Suggests that Jakania should reconsider aggression or face the consequences
- Thanks Kazulia for support, as she called for Istalia to back Kalopia in preventing Jakanian "Meddling and Imperialism"
- Comments on emerging funding war in South Majatra

Image
The Prime Minister was very positive about future relationships with their eastern neighbours, Solentia.

The Prime Minister of Kalopia has announced her delight at Solentia's easing of lorry inspections at the border, calling for the reconciliation of the two South Majatran nations. She said that she wanted to use this "unique" opportunity to press Solentia to push liberty focused reform through its Senate, and grant more freedoms to the Solentian people. She also took her time to thank Kazulia for their intervention, and warned Jakania that Kalopia had "renewed wind in her sails" following the catastrophic management of foreign affairs by the former Prime Minister.

Unlike her predecessors, or many within the government, the Prime Minister took a more collected approach to Kalopia's foreign affairs, choosing her words with care, rather than spontaneously attack her adversaries. Jumping on the Solentian decision to remove inspections of Kalopian lorries, and governmental sources reportedly calling for a mending in relations between the nations, Kapllani said this was an opportunity to prove Kalopia was more about peace than war, and alter a misconception that had been building up in the community.

Mrs Kapllani also thanked Kazulia for their intervention in the crisis, and their heavy condemnation of those "wishing to harm Kalopia." She said that the support received from the Northern Superpower was beyond value, and that Kalopia was indebted to a true friend who wished for prosperity in Majatra. Kapllani did however, voice concerns about recent arms deals made between Beiteynu and Solentia, as well as Dorvik and Jakania, calling them reactionary, and potentially threatening to stability. When quizzed whether this is hypocritical due to the large military support given by Kazulia, she said that Kalopia's use for such a military was for defence, but nations "located primarily to our west" may look to use these weapons for "imperialistic purposes."

And of course, it wouldn't be an address from a Kalopian Prime Minister, without some sort of attack on their neighbours, Jakania. Pointing to the subsiding of tensions between Solentia and Kalopia, as well as the Kazulian intervention, Kapllani warned Jakania to stand their distance, as she said that they now had the "full, undivided" attention of Eleopolis. Arguing that continued refusal to talk, and constant military exercises, proved that Jakania were the aggressors in the area, and that they deserved to face the consequences if they did not reconsider their aggression. The Prime Minister did not state what those consequences were.

Kapllani also took a jab at the Jakanian Prime Minister, and former President, Ahmet Arslan. Commenting that he "failed to command support even from his party," she said that she was looking forward to the next Jakanian election, and hoped that a "more reasonable" colleague would replace him, in order to see a "restoration" of peace in Majatra.
