BREAKING: Kalopian Investigators Submit "evidence" to Majatran Alliance Investigative Force
- Move seen as a last ditch attempt to switch the tides in the Kalopian-Deltarian conflict
- President Minosasa refuses to comment on the contents of the evidence, but is confident of their accuracy
- Move comes as gunfire commonplace on Deltarian-Kalopian border

Kalopian Investigators have submitted evidence to the Majatran Alliance Investigative Force (MAIF) apparently proving the innocence of all four (some now ex-) cabinet members accused of playing a role in the assassination of the former Czar of Deltaria. They are said to be confident of a "positive" result, although they have not disclosed what they are submitting, nor on what grounds it justifies the pardoning of the Kalopian politicians.

The move comes following months of skirmishes on the border. Whilst this has not broke into full scale war as of yet, the ramifications that it has had regarding Kalopia's position with other neighbours have been huge. To Deltaria's South, Jakania has placed its military on "amber" alert, suggesting that it is worried about Kalopian aggression. Despite this, Kalopia have repeatedly denied having imperialistic aims - instead labelling Jakania as the aggressors.

When asked the President, now in his final term, refused to give details of the evidence, in alignment with all other Kalopian officials. However, he did say that he was confident that the Investigative Team was accurate and "on point" in their findings, and that apologies for all Kalopians caught up in the scandal would be distributed as soon as the MAIF confirmed the team's findings.

BREAKING: Minosasa: "Jakania have never negotiated anyway"
- Jab comes following Jakanian claims that Kalopia is Kazulia's sixth region
- Says Kazulia is simply protecting South Majatra from Jakanian Imperialism
- Suggests that Jakania should back down

The President of Kalopia has attacked the Jakanian Foreign Ministry for its statement regarding Kazulian protection of Kalopia against "war mongering imperialists". Attacking particularly the claim that any negotiation would be conducted by Kazulia rather than Kalopia, he said that Jakania had never bothered to negotiate anyway and instead wanted war in order to press their ultra nationalist and discriminatory rule upon members of other nations.

Jakania now faces the prospect of two large bodies of troops at its border, as the MAIF are looking into the evidence provided by Kalopia regarding the innocence of their cabinet ministers. Furthermore, with the legalisation of slavery in Solentia, and the planned withdrawal of the Solentian-Istalian Treaty by Istalia, it appears that the once strong support for its anti-Kalopia position seems to be fading.

For this reason, the President called Jakania to back down. Arguing that Jakania had never called for a peaceful solution, he said that:

They now have a window in which repentance is possible. But beyond that window is a self destructive path to despair for multiple nations. I urge, as I have throughout my Presidency, the Jakanian Government to stand down and open meaningful and constructive talks. The ball has always been in Jakania's court. Kalopia has been controlled in its response, only responding to Jakanian threat, rather than escalating the situation, like our western neighbours have done so many times.

The presence of Kazulia is necessary in Kalopia as the odds of Jakania conducting an unprovoked, spontaneous attack are unfortunately high. Kalopia sees a nation hellbent on invasion, and it has taken the necessary precautions to guarantee that it does not fall to a foreign power. I am sure that they understand that Kalopia will accept any support they can get in order to protect the integrity of our borders, against a foreign threat primed to break them down.

In regards to the exact statement issued by the Jakanian Foreign Ministry, they have never talked anyway. For them it is irrelevant whether Kazulia, Kalopia,
or even a completely unrelated nation comes to the table with them, because they do not have a table to talk at. Despite our offering, and Istalia offering,
and Cobura offering multiple times, and the establishment of the Sharba Conference, they were still resolute in their pursuit of war.

BREAKING: Radical Shakeup to the Kalopian Constitution - Powers to be Stripped from the President
- The Ceremonial President Act appears to have the full support of the House
- Passes the Executive down to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet
- Grants Emergency Powers through unanimous Cabinet decision

Image
President Milo Minosasa has entered his last term in Office. He has been President of Kalopia since 4331, and will hand over the Office in 4340.

In what would be a huge shake up to the Kalopian constitution, it appears that the Ceremonial President Act commands the support of all three parties, pending the official vote of the Ultra Nationalists. The Act would see all but ceremonial powers stripped from the President, as Kalopia would move to a Parliamentary Republic, where the Cabinet would hold the Executive Branch of power. The President, however, would have the ability to assume emergency powers were the cabinet to unanimously agree.

It would not be the first time that a President from the Reform Party has looked at making a large constitutional change as he heads into his last term in Office. President Malan Berisha introduced the Term Limit Act which prevented future Presidents from claiming the Office more than three times, after announcing his decision not to run for a third term. The Reform Party, who has always been supportive of a Parliamentary Republic, has now seen President Minosasa introduce legislation that would make the Prime Ministerialship the most important job in the country.

The significance of the position of Prime Minister has almost been de facto over the past few years due to the tensions with Kalopia's neighbours, and a need for several coalition talks to be discussed. As open dialogue between the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and Defence Minister has become more crucial, President Minosasa argues that it is easiest to allow power to reside within the Legislature, in order to allow for consensus when geopolitical decisions are made.

Critics argue that this could too easily see a rogue dictator attempt to consolidate his power, but the legislators in the Grand National Assembly argue that the 50% majority to overturn the Emergency Powers would make this impossible.

BREAKING: Milo Minosasa to step down as Leader of Reform Party
- Minosasa will not continue as party leader following end of final term
- Role of Party Leader to be redefined within the Reform Party - Leader to head up the parliamentary party
- Kapllani set to have to fight for her place with several challengers emerging

Milo Minosasa, the leader of the Reform Party for over a decade, has announced his intention to step down, in order to choose a leader that would be part of the parliamentary party following the landmark Ceremonial President Act. Citing that the position of Prime Minister was now a more important role, he argued that a leader of the Reform Party would be better placed fighting for the Prime Ministership rather than the Presidency. Consequently, several challengers have rushed to claim the top job, which would make them defacto Prime Minister with the current Reform Party majority.

In the same vine as his predecessor President Berisha, Minosasa took the opportunity in his last term as President to scale back the power of the President of Kalopia. However, with the support of the Ultranationalists, and the now-defunct Vatan Partisi, Minosasa was effectively able to shift executive power to the Head of Government, and remove all but emergency powers away from what is now to become a vastly ceremonial role.

"This huge change leaves the Prime Ministership as the most important position of power in the country, and therefore it would make sense for the Prime Minister to be a leader of a party," said the President at a press conference where he announced he was stepping down as Party Leader. "I will have had a prosperous eleven years by the time that the leadership is exchanged, but it just is right to pass the leadership down to where it will be best used - our parliamentary leader." Asked if he had any favoured candidates, he said that he wouldn't endorse anyone directly, although he thought that retaining Kapllani would be a guarantee of stability for the party.

This move has, of course, left the Prime Minister, Kolenta Kapllani fighting for her job. Whilst most pundits would agree that she should bring home the support needed from the party, there are several ambitious names who are throwing their names into the hat in order to attempt to overthrow her. One is the Foreign Minister and protege of the Reform Party, Cirket Korkizoglou - the 31-year-old who has already made a name for himself as a foreign affairs expert. Radical pro free trader, it is expected that he would look to mend relations with Jakania, Solentia, and Deltaria, in the hope of boosting the economy. He is opposed by another Reform Party prospect, 28-year-old Siphinan, former economist, Hyske Hoti, who believes that tariffs and protectionism is needed to destroy the economies of their enemies.

Other names include Azmi el-Wahab, and Thanasis Kosta and Acacia Savas, who are running on a joint ticket aimed to reinstate the direction in which Kusturica was taking Kalopia before he was forced to resign in disgrace. Calling themselves Kusturicanists, Kosta and Savas argue that "whilst some mistakes were made," Kusturica was taking Kalopia on the right path before his fall from the top. However, most Reform Party members would be a little apprehensive in voting in Savas who was accused of assassinating the Deltarian Czar - even though she was found not guilty.

BREAKING: Kapllani Calls for End to Conflict in Majatra
- Calls for Kazulia to back down against Jakania following the freezing of deployment from neighbours
- Kapllani "very optimistic" over Istalia backed talks with Solentia
- Leadership candidate, Cirket Korkizoglou calls for greater Kalopian economic influence in Majatra

The Prime Minister has responded to Istalia's request for deescalation in Majatra, saying that Eleopolis fulling backs the end of all conflict in the south of the continent. Announcing her support for talks with Solentia, Kapllani also told Kazulia that it was time to look for diplomatic ways of seeking peace.

Kolenta Kapllani was loudly applauded following her announcement that she intended to seek dialogue with Solentia and Jakania. Arguing that the continent had found itself stuck in a constant state of phony war, the Prime Minister said that it was time to put the economy, and the welfare of the people over the fight against imperialism, and support the creation of closer ties with Kalopia's neighbours. This move has seen the Kalopian Stock Market take a healthy rise, as investors see this as the first genuine attempt for peace from Kalopia since Jakania pulled out of the Sharba Conference.

Istalia was highly praised during the PM's speech, with Kapllani saying that their drive for stability was "the true sign of a global superpower". However, she also discussed Kalopia's relationship with Kazulia. Citing the two nation's agreement as critical for Kalopia, the Prime Minister said that whilst Kalopia would support the gradual decrease and removal of Kazulian soldiers, it would not agree to any deal which Skalm was not happy with. "It is important we find the right balance between Skalm and Romula. Kalopia supports the gradual phasing out of Kazulian troops, with these to be replaced by a peacekeeping Istalian force. However, this agreement should be subject to Kazulia's perspective as well, as they too have had a role to play in these tensions."

Assembly member, and Reform Party Leadership Candidate, Cirket Korkizoglou, took the opportunity to call for Kalopia to expand its economic influence into Majatra. Pointing at Solentia's infrastructural nightmare, he said that Kalopia should take the opportunity to help build up Solentia's infrastructure as well as its own. "In order to prosper," Hoti said, "We need bilateral strength rather than have a hierarchical system where one nation's economy is stronger than the other. For that reason, it is imperative for Kalopian participation in the strengthening of its neighbours. If Kalopia helps to build Solentian infrastructure, then perhaps we in turn will get economic opportunities."

BREAKING: Kalopians Flee East Following Dorbargrad Captured; Troops Mobilised
- President declares war on Deltaria as he is granted Emergency Powers from the Cabinet
- Condemns the acts against humanity committed by the "monstrous" Deltarian soldiers
- Calls for Istalian and Kazulian support in forcing Deltaria back "into their hole"

Image
Kalopian troops making their way up to the blockade from the Kalopian fortifications following a small push back towards Dorbargrad.

Kalopians living in Siphina or Minosasa have fled east following the aggressive and illegal Deltarian offensive, which saw the city of Dorbargrad captured. Tonight millions of houses will be empty in Eastern Kalopia as Kalopians fled the region, moving into quickly put up camps across Seshold and eastern Minosasa. The new President, Musa Kongoli immediately went before the Grand National Assembly, declaring war against Deltaria, saying that they would pay for the damage they have caused innocent civilians in Dorbargrad.

Praising the bravery of the soldiers who lost their lives at Dorbargrad, Kongoli, who has accepted the emergency powers bestowed to the President following the unanimous agreement of the Cabinet, in line with the Ceremonial President Act, told Deltaria that they had made a martyr of all the innocent lives they killed, and that they would pay if "fire and blood" for what they had done.

Kalopian troops have made a couple miles of gains, capitalising on Deltarian troops halting their attack, who were tired from fighting in Dorbargrad, leaving a Kalopian presence five miles out from the wrecked city. Already, a blockade is being established, albeit slowly and under gunfire, in the attempt to prevent Deltarian troops from making it out of Eastern Minosasa.
