The ZPD Congress announces the results of the ZPD Primary Elections,
Wolfgang Weber (Liberal Front): 3,575,649 votes (72.7%) 146 seats
Niklas Beck (conservative front): 1,344,628 votes (27.3%) seats 54
total attendance: 4,920,277 votes (+231,647)
The ZPD Congress proclaims Mr. Weber as elected President of the Party. Mr. Weber decides to reconfirm Mrs. Koch as vice president of the Party.
The newly elected Weber opens a session of the ZPD Congress taking the floor.
Dear supporters of the ZPD,
our Party is grappling with an irrevocable decision, giving in to the VKPD's request or continuing the center policy that characterizes us. The Party has been accused of having approved laws that go against our workers and support extremist parties which, moreover, goes against our Statute. This party also wants to cancel the ZPD from Dundorf politics. The things we are accused of, I would like to point out, are not absolutely true, indeed they are inventions.
The ZPD has never gone against any party in this country and indeed we have always sought a collaboration with all the possible interlocutors and therefore it seems to us that there is an unjustified hatred by a part of the Government coalition.
It is on this basis that the ZPD asks to cease this hatred which makes our country even more divided than it already is.
I leave you to vote on the 1st question of the day:
Do you want the ZPD to accept the VKPD request which requires the resignation of all ZPD members of Parliament and which makes the Party inactive nationwide?
Votation result: YES 3, NO 190, ABSTAIN 7. The Assembly reject VKPD request.
2nd question:
Do you want to commission President Weber to seek a pacification between the parties (VKPD-ZPD)?
YES 150, NO 49, ABSTAIN 1

The Assembly also decides to continue to abstain in parliamentary votes.
