Largonia - The Deputy State Chancellor Diethelm Tanais von Schleskau spoke today at the Artanian Council on Foreign Affairs, an annual conference that meets in July in Largonia, regarding the World Congress and the official recognition of several different international institutions as "official". For instance, the Deputy State Chancellor, called on the formation of an international health organization, an international trade organization, the recognition of the International Exchange Commission as the formal international regulator of stock exchanges and mercantile exchanges, the recognition of the International Arms Trade Commission as the de facto international arms trade regulator and commission, the official recognition of the International Development and Stability Bank as the de facto international bank
Dorvik's financial industry recently went through a tremendous boost as the Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that they had joined the International Development and Stability Bank with a $20b LOD buy-in to the organization, making it the largest holder of funds within the IDSB. A spokesman for the State Bank of Dorvik noted that the International Development and Stability Bank was a prime example of the international community coming together to monitor and systematically ensure that no financial crisis would ever undermine countries sovereignty again. Both the Dorvish Stock Exchange and the Wasse Mercantile Exchange experienced huge surges, especially in financial stocks, when the news was announced. The State Bank of Dorvik which approved the buy-in stated that a board will be announced in September, 4359 as the Dorvish representatives to the IDSB.
Minister of Trade and Industry Constantin von Desidier asked that the Dorvish lead a charge in the establishment of an official world trade organization to regulate and fundamentally structure trade and solve trade disputes throughout the world. The Minister of Trade and Industry asked the Deputy State Chancellor and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to pursue this in the World Congress. Officials have reported that the middle age Minister of Trade and Industry conceptualized such an organization and if interest is drummed up enough for it might be picked to lead it.
