Pontesian police crack down on cult after leaders forces young girls to wed.

Bab al'Ulima - A wave of underage marriage carried out by a Schultzism has rocked Pontesi, prompting a police crackdown in which more than 30 people have been killed and 100 more have been imprisoned in three days in a forest in Hodirak'hi. Most of them believe to be Beiteynuese who had move to Pontesi amidst the short-lived DSPB movement in Pontesi. Rabbi Karl Langen. XVIII, the cult's leader, said in remarks quoted Wednesday. "A girl aged 13 or 14 can be married. Those who think she's too young are wrong and they are being unfair to her."

Christoph Wilcke, a Pontesian researcher for International Human Rights Movement, recently told The Pontesian Enquirer that his organization has heard many other cases of child marriages. "We've been hearing about these types of cases once every four or five months because the Schultzism continue to disregard national law of all nations -- especially with girls are traded off to older men," Wilcke said. He also added that this practice had been frequently done in Beiteynu and are dangerously incresing in Barmenistan, but this is the first time he ever heard of one in Pontesi.

Wilcke explained that while Pontesi ministries have make a right decisions to protect children, "This group is a very threat to our society and must be stop, while we don't seeks to see the lost of lifes, we understand that it is necessary."

Hundreds of police officers, including military unit, descended into the forest yesterday, ripping down illegal settlement and in their search for Schultzism members. The sound of gunfire could be heard throughout the day and at least 30 peoples were confirmed dead. Police blamed the Schultzism for attacking the police first, prompting a response from them. Hundreds of mens and womens were rounded up and detained before sending to Lerna Military Base for further interrogation while childrens, most of them forcing to married and provide sexual comfort to older mens and womens, were sent to Empress Andrea I Military Hospital for health and psychological checkup.

It is reported that out of 130 deads and captureds, only 15 are Pontesian citizens with the rest are illegal Beiteynu settler who have been allegedly paid to move to Pontesi by DSPB in order to terrorise and mind-wash the population into voting for them.

The laws of Schultzism and of Judaism are second to the laws of a nation. Schultzists did not attack, we did not have a church in Pontesi, all followers were outside the nation.

OOC: Jewish law also says 13 or 14. Isn't there a rule saying I have to consent to RP with them?

OOC: Please don't response with two sentences, this is a news service, not a debate and quite frankly.... you aren't really good at that.

http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=246281

Your first paragraph claim a spread in Pontesi of illegal cult, make up your mind for once. And RP consent is for when I kill, control, or make speech from your character or organization. Above news is that I claim that I have attack and killed several peoples that is believe to be a member of your group.

And I believe that the law is currently that no other religion is permitted in Pontesi and 18 is the age of consent so I think it is sensible to said that this news make sense.

The Jewish Homeland makes an apology.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Joshua Rishon LeZion II, has announced that his ministry will be working with Internal Affairs of both The Jewish Homeland and Pontesi, to crack down on this cult. The Knesset will also be following up with a listing of the religion as a cult.

Our nation wished to stop the spread of this evil cult before it infects the world. We are going to list Schultzism as a cult. But we do not wish for any future settlement issues similar to this happen again. This tarnishes the name of our nation and ruins the peace talks

LERNA - The Pontesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had announced that they have made no diplomatic contact with Beiteynu after their expulsion of Beiteynu Ambassador to Pontesi resulting from a failure to push forward for a resolution to the Gran Tadraki crisis and that there had been no cooperation between Beiteynu Internal Affairs Ministry and Pontesi Internal Affairs Ministry with regards to Schultzism.

"We have closed down Pontesi's Embassy in Beiteynu and had already ordered that Beiteynu Embassy's Staff leave Pontesi within 72 hours" Said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Johan Guderian. "Their refusal to continue the negotiation and their decision to attemp to stall them leads to our conclusion that diplomatic relation with Beiteynu is no longer possible" He added.

In related news, the August Parliament of the Cedar Throne had recently passed a law banning Schultzism and Scientology from Pontesi with 195 to 0 votes and 205 abstain. It's now illegal to practice both religions and the penalty included 1000 PON fines and 1 months participation in the Ministry of Internal Affairs Religions Reeducation Facility.

The August Parliament of the Cedar Throne had also passed a law that allow the blockaded of Beiteynu ships in Beiteynu and Migrant's Pass to begin immedeately following the failure to continue diplomatic negotiation and the Pontesian cabinet is currently discussing whether to immedeately implement this measure or attempt to further negotiate.

Leaders agree to continue national unity cabinet

Image
The parliament voted unanimously to approve the national unity cabinet again.

LERNA - Democrat Party and Democratic Marxist Party solidified their hold on Pontesi's government Friday with the continuance of a national unity Cabinet in which there is no opposition. Grand-Vizier General Daphne Veja announced that there will be no change in the current cabinet despite the fact that DP regain majority following the election.

The Cabinet's formation continues 4 years of cooperation on another step toward healing the country's deep political divide and strengthen the country position amidst increasing foreign tension in the country. The unity government is the outcome of a deal brokered by the Democrat Party in May under which the opposition agreed to rejoin the government after its rivals gave in to its demands that religious freedom be reestablished in Pontesi.

"We have decided to manage our disputes through democratic institutions and dialogue," Grand-Vizier General Daphne Veja told reporters at the parliament in Lerna after names of the new Cabinet ministers were announced. "The main purpose is to serve all Pontesian citizens in these extremely difficult circumstances," Veja said. But Pontesi's problems "will not cease to exist overnight," she added.

Despite the fact that the Democrat Party have regained majority in the August Parliament of Cedar Tree, she have declined to make any change in the cabinet citing the fact that the current cabinet is already effective and there is no reason to change anything yet. However, politcal analyst believe that this is a goodwill gesture from the Democrat Party to the Democratic Marxist Party.

"The government will work as a united team to confront all challenges," Veja said. "The Pontesians want a government that can lead them toward the future. We will put everything behind us to continue to work as a united team."

The Cleansing of Dandratur

Image
Captured illegal Jewish immigrant get off from a Pontesian military truck before their deportation to Beiteynu.

WESSEX - In response to People's Democratic Republic of Barmenia attempts to deport Barmenian and Beiteynu Jewish's citizens to Pontesian Dynastic Empire with their "Barmenia For Barmenians Act", Pontesi had closed all borders connected to the nation and have conducted a coordinated search throughout Dandratur for illegal immigrants and have deported more then 3,500 Jews to Beiteynu with 800 more peoples awaiting for confirmation of their nationality and identity.

In an act that shock Terra, Barmenia had decided to rid of the jews by forcing them to leave the country or face slavery resulting in more then 5,000 refugees in Pontesi and more then 10,000 illegal jewish immigrants inside Dandratur. The Pontesian government response by deciding to use a declaration of state of emergency in the region, tightening the security along the border, and start a Dandratur-Wise search for illegal immigrant, detaining more then 4,000 jews from Barmenia for deportation to Beiteynu. Pontesi's Grand-Vizier General Daphne Veja also state of her utmost concern with the situation in both Beiteynu and Barmenia, but refuse to comment whether Pontesi will join any country if war brokeout.

According to report from International Committee of the Red Cross, the jewish detainees have been treated well and in accordance to international accepted standard. Pontesian Army refuse to comment of the report that several Schultzism member with arrest warrant following the crack down on the organization had been amongst the refugee, but confirm that several detainees is still held in Harling Camp.

Interestingly, Barmenia is a member of Global Peacekeeping Organization and Beiteynu is a member of the Axis. It only serves to intensify our fear that the battlefront between both gigantic organization may expand from Trigunia civil war to Northern Majatran and that the new World War is near.

Half of the remaining total of 10.8m PON in criminal assests, confiscated between October and December last year, will be shared between police, local government, courts and other bodies.

She added: "Recovering more than £15m from criminals in the space of three months is a great achievement. I want to thank the police and other partners for their hard work in seizing the money and undermining dangerous cult group."

Fotheringhay elected ONCP leader as party embraces a 'retreat of state invasiveness'.

Image
Lieutenant Commander Archibald Fotheringhay, the newly elected ONCP leader, is the Great Grandson of a former Pontesian Governor of Gran Tadraki

The One Nation Conservative Party has elected a serving Imperial Naval Officer, Lieutenant Commander Archibald Fotheringhay, the Great Grandson of a former Pontesian colonial governor of Gran Tadraki. Fotheringhay, as his predecessors, resides on a large estate in Tadraki and has stated that 'Pontesi's sovereign claim over the territory is as definite and robust as in any previous age.' His election though may anger those sharing power in the unity cabinet as he has promised 'an end to spending rises' and 'a return to the One Nation Conservative ambition of removing every man and woman from the burden of income taxation.'

According to Michael Jamieson, a political historian, the return to this policy will mean re-enacting aims held by the party leaders of almost 200 years ago. Jamieson states that the ONCP were close to succeeding in their long term ambitions but were foiled in the 'eleventh hour' by a socialist electoral win. The promise to end 'state invasiveness' appears at odds with the recent budget proposed by the Democrat Party which seeks to increase public sector spending by 70 billion PON. The ONCP Treasury spokesman, David Belling-Hughes MP, stated that, 'while government expenditure accounts for 11% of GDP, our long term aim will be to reduce that to 7% while boosting private investment'. When asked if this might anger the Chancellor, he stated that 'the Chancellor is aware of our stance and will, I am sure, accommodate for our concerns.'
