Kazulia willing to accept refugees from Istalian exchange
Foreign Minister expressed desire for Kazulia to accept refugees from Istalian-Saridani exchange.
16th March, 4389.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Tormod Kopperud announced earlier this morning that Kazulia was willing to accept around 500,000 political refugees from the Istalian-Saridan exchange. The situation in Saridan resulted in an agreement between Istalian President Antonio Massa and Saridani President Curtis which outlined a 300 billion Lira deal for the release of 8 million persons from under the apartheid regime. Controversy and discord had risen out of the agreement as the Northern Council and Hawu Mumenhes have voiced disappointment and condemnation in the agreement. In Istalia, condemnation of the President's decision is mounting as spokesperson for the Radical Alliance, Simone Calenda expressed scepticism and concern for the situation, lambasting President Massa's decision as the alliance questioned the government's moves to contain the situation. Calenda's party expressed concern for various issues to be faced by the 8 million refugees such as housing and healthcare, citing the fact that the Istalian Republic could not handle the large influx of refugees.

In response to the resettlement situation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tormod Kopperud stated that Kazulia was willing to accept around 500,000 refugees from the Istalian-Saridani exchange to be resettled in Kazulia. With Istalia concerned about the reintegration of the refugees, Kopperud stated that Kazulia has experienced similar issues posterior to its conflict with Hulstria and Dankuk which saw Kazulia resettle thousands of Dankukin and Hulstrian refugees fleeing their respective nations. He stated that 500,000 refugees would be reintegrated by the government in the interim as Kopperud also stressed on the security situation and their integration into the Federal Healthcare Assistance Programme (FHAP) and the Kazulian education system. Kopperud stated that the integration of the refugees would not come at a cost of the Istalian government but come potentially to the Kazulian people, however he highlighted the fact that the government had made contingency plans for the resettlement and integration of large amounts of refugees. According to Kopperud, the government had been development domestic infrastructure with the aims of accommodating for large-scale national events such as natural disasters and conflicts. President Sindre Granberg called on nations such as Lourenne and Hutori accept refugees in a similar manner to Kazulia.

1st December, 4389.

Earlier this morning on the background of mounting international tensions, the Northern Council launched its first large-scale exercise involving all members of the alliance, in what has been dubbed the largest exercise to have taken place in the eastern hemisphere. The 14 day exercise coined Exercise Titanaboa 4390, encompassing of around 45,000 troops and thousands of associated military hardware from 10 nations, had been launched as the Northern Council and its partners strives to increasing cohesion, interoperability and mount a response to Dankukin military implications within the region. According to information released by the Northern Council Press/Media Office, the exercise's paramount purpose is to test the degree of cooperation and cohesion between troops and commanders from the various participating nations in responding to instances might it be on a small or large scale and also to test their reaction in responding to various scenarios pertaining to the various regions each nation hails from in-order to shape other members into being able to adapt and operate effectively when the time comes for their intervention/involvement into various international concerns.

The exercise is being coordinated by the Commandant Louis Verignon of the Lourennais Air Component. The Joint Headquarters of the Northern Council has stressed the importance for more multinational programmes, citing the fact that increased interoperability within the Northern Council would enhance the alliance's ability to respond to threats against its members and instance against established peace and security internationally. Currently, a multinational corps is being formed between the Artanian members of the Northern Council with the 1st Joint Arctic Response Brigade (1st Hutorian-Kazulian Brigade) set to expand in the coming months. Components of Titanaboa 4390 include live-fire exercises, mountain and urban warfare infantry manoeuvres, aerial reconnaissance, surface and submarine warfare manoeuvres. Admiral Erling Halvorsen stated that Titanaboa 4390 would see the application of the "Cold Resolve" doctrine, a military doctrine crafted personally for the Northern Council by the commanders of the northern council armies. According to Admiral Halvorsen the doctrine stresses close coordination between land forces acting as an aggressively manoeuvring defence/offence, and air forces attacking rear-echelon forces feeding those front line enemy forces, with coordinated strike assistance from naval forces positioned within strike distance of a given position/target.

General Christopher Tollefsrud stated that Exercise Titanaboa would be an opportunity for the various Northern Council nations to "show-off" their military hardware and their skills training. General Tollefsrud stated that the Kazulian Navy was eager to show off its modernised fleets to the various Northern Council members. General Tollefsrud stated that the Northern Council had great intentions where it pertained to mutual defence and security with respect to its members. "The exercise would allow the Northern Council to demonstrate its readiness, flexibility and capability to respond to threats from a range of areas.

"Kazulia used as a legislative magic wand for Dankuk" ~ PM
Prime Minister urges Dankukin politicians to stop using Kazulia as a legislative magic wand.
25th April, 4390.

On the background of repetitive mentioning of Kazulia within Dankukin state propaganda, Prime Minister Harald Christiansen has called upon the Dankukin government and those of the wider Dankukin political spectrum to stop using Kazulia as a "legislative magic wand" for pushing narratives. Prime Minister Christiansen was speaking before the Stortinget's reopening posterior to the restoration of the monarchy within the nation. Christiansen spoke about the increasing frequency of Dankukin politician's use of Kazulia as a "fear-mongering" tactic to insight change within the nation and to push various political narratives. Christiansen's comments come after Dankuk's Minister of Defence Alex Stäbler, in tirade against the Dankukin government's decision to reduce the nation's armed forces, repeatedly sought to mention Kazulia in a manner that can only be described as "fear-mongering". Uttering comments such as, To me it is just idiotic. Why,when we have Nazi Kazulia on our border, would we shrink our army. We should be increasing our numbers and strength to combat Kazulia's increasing power. But our minister of foreign affairs says we “war hawks”. Well it’s better to be a war hawk then to be dead via the hands of Kazulia that’s for sure. Our Army is the smallest it has ever been

Prime Minister Christiansen lambasted Alex Stäbler, calling his comments "hypocritically-driven" and "championing hawkish attitudes". He went on to highlight the fact that in previous times, the Dankukin government called for all anti-Kazulian propaganda to stop citing that "the Imperial palace will not give Kazulia attention." Christiansen hit back stating that the Imperial Palace wanted Kazulia's attention, thus the nation's historic tendency to use Kazulia as a legislative magic wand comes into play.
A statement issued by Dankukin state propaganda sources said: " This is reportedly due to the fact that the Imperial Palace does not wish to give Kazulia any attention", however it is surprising to see that Dankukin politicians are using Kazulia as a legislative magic wand when things do not go their way. The desperation and pettiness of these individuals is intensifying to childish proportions. They have become so desperate that they are attempting to create a sovereignty case over Northern Council exercises conducting thousands of miles away from its shores. It is clear that what the Imperial Palace is Kazulia's attention. Kazulia has not issued any comments or made any move against the Dankukin government however its inability to understand the simple fact that Kazulia wishes to be left alone, is concerning as it only accentuates on the point that Dankuk sees Kazulia as a magic wand whereby it can use to push narratives within its own nation, so desperate is a nation for attention?

Prime Minister Christiansen stated that Kazulia is to be left alone and called on Dankuk to turn its desperation on other nations. He cited that Dankuk's continued anti-Kazulian propaganda will only prove the burning point that Dankuk is like a little child seeking attention, who throws tantrums when things do not go its way.

Kazulia, NC intervene to topple Bianjie dictatorship
Kazulia and its Northern Council to intervene in Bianjie to topple Emperor Itoh's regime.

2nd February, 4392.

Kazulian and Lourennais ground forces have intervened in Bianjie to topple the incumbent brutal regime of Emperor Itoh and to help the sagging Indralan minority as it battles the strengthening Imperial forces, opening a new and unexpectedly direct front in the confrontation between Kazulia and its neighbours. Earlier this morning, Defence Minister Gudhlek Lundberg said that around 45,000 Kazulian troops had been accompanied to Mo Ching International Airport with 15,000 Lourennais troops in-order to capture the airport and establish a de facto base of operations. Defence Minister Lundberg stated that the intervention had come in response to the Northern Council's repeated calls for Emperor Itoh to step down from a position of central power within Bianjie, citing that his genocidal campaign against the nation's indigenous indralan minority would continue to suffer under the dictator's regime. Officials from within the Northern Council press media office stated that Kazulian aircraft had continued a series of sorties prior to the landing of the initial Kazulian-Lourennais force. The bombardment of Imperial positions by the Kazulian Air Force marks the first time Kazulian aircraft operated within Bianjian aerospace as in the previous campaign Kazulian air-force personnel acted as forward air controllers for the Lourennais Air Component in Bianjie. The presence of the Kazulian Air Force marks the seriousness of the issue and the emphasis of combat effectiveness needed to bring the conflict to an immediate end.

The Northern Council's decision intervene dramatised concerns about the military and political gains of Emperor Itoh's regime. Prior the gradual end of the NC bombing campaign in Bianjie, Emperor Itoh's imperial forces had captured the nation's capital and had continue to clandestinely continue its genocidal campaign against the nation's minority groups. Weeks prior, it had been announced by Bianjie state media that the Imperial Forces had been preparing coastal defences for the aforementioned Northern Council intervention, with large troop movements being reported throughout the nation. The slide into chaos within Bianjie concerns the government in Skalm and the alliance in Bekenial for several reasons, including the possible spillover of militancy and weapons to neighbouring nations and the relative ease with conflicts could spark within Dovani.
At stake is the very sentiment of true stability within the nation of Bianjie.

Lourenne has joined with Kazulia in seeking to organise the aforementioned military intervention to restore stability within Bianjie and bring the genocide to an end. For the past few months, Kazulian troops had been stationed in Northern Outannais helping to prepare the Lourennais Armed Forces in becoming accustom with the fighting techniques of the Gao-Showan nations. Prime Minister Harald Christiansen indicated that Kazulia's role as a reliable power within the region of Dovani had been enhanced as he voiced the opinion that Skalm would be increasingly active in championing stability and democratic rule within Dovani. Combat aircraft, transport aircraft and attack helicopters are expected to be positioned in Embermane Air Base in Northern Outannais, enabling close air support for Kazulian and Lourennais forces operating in Bianjie and also provided limited support for the Indralan Forces of Defence. Defence Minister Lundberg stated that command of the bombing campaign in Bianjie will be transferred from the Lourennais Air Component to the Kazulian Air Force.

Kazulia condemns communist dictatorship in Dorvik.
Kazulia condemns communist dictatorship in Dorvik; mulls single-handed intervention.

Prime Minister Harald Christiansen speaking to members of the media at Hnjoskadalsa 33.
1st August, 4392.

Prime Minister Harald Christiansen is condemning the kindling and solidification of communism within Dorvik, telling members of the media that Kazulia will be monitoring the situation and will be working closely with the international community, the World Congress and Northern Council. Christiansen stated that he spoke with members of the Northern Council with respect to the occurrence as Dorvik is a member of the organisation. "The development of communism within Dorvik is an extremely concerning development and the international community must act immediately." For centuries Dorvik has been among the first nations to condemn communism throughout the world and the nation has contributed largely against international communism. A statement from Hnjoskadalsa 33 (the office of the Prime Minister), accepted the condemnation of the development of communism in Dorvik by the Hulstrian government months prior.

Prime Minister Christiansen stated that he intends on consolidating the Northern Council on handling the situation with respect to one of its prominent members. Dorvik remains an important member within the Northern Council and can be acquainted with being one of the founders of the Northern Council Treaty Organisation. Christiansen said, as the Northern Hemisphere's sole-stable Great Power, the Kingdom of Kazulia must and will respond accordingly to the development of communism within one of the most stable nations in the northern hemisphere. Christiansen's harshness as it pertains to communism in the northern hemisphere comes as he had been present to see the horrors associated with communism in various nations including Trigunia where he served as Ambassador to Trigunia. According to the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, the government was in discussions on levelling economic and diplomatic sanctions on Dorvik and removing Dorvik and Dundorf (two predominantly communist nations) from the Northern Council. According to Secretary-General of the Northern Council, Haakon Egeland the development could also affect Trigunia's negotiations to enter the Northern Council as the nation is in a transitional phase with much political attention leaning on the communist sentiment.

Frederik Ramberg pleased with election result
In a recent press conference, Ramberg spoke happily about the 4393 election.
Image
Attending a press conference a mere day after the election, Frederik Ramberg had a joyful look on his face and a drink in his hand. Frederik Ramberg, a veteran of the Kazulian Armed Forces, who formed the Nasjonal Militær Allianse in 4391 saw quite the success in the recent election, where his party gained a total of 88 seats, being one of the two parties to gain seats in the election. While this only makes NMA the fourth largest party in Kazulmark, Frederik Ramberg is absolutely delighted by the result. “We’re a new party, I know. But this result is fantastic! I never expected this kind of result in one of the first elections we’d participate in. Hopefully the trend continues, I wouldn’t mind that.”

Nasjonal Militær Allianse is a party mostly consisting of veterans, preaching offensive foreign affairs and strong direct leadership at home. They have also advocated for an increase in government regulation around the country. Asked to specify his party’s policies, Ramberg responded, “It’s simple really. We believe the country needs strong, guiding leadership. That’s what you’re voting for when you’re voting for us.. And you should be!”

Frederik Ramberg ended off the press conference with a smile and a cheers to the press for showing up. “It’s been a pleasure having you all! Cheers to the press, and cheers to the party!”

Korsmo Telekom ceases operations in Dankuk

Korsmo Electronics and Communications announced that it will be ceasing operations in Dankuk after a decision made by the company's board of directors. In a media release, the company outlined various issues which the subsidiary Korsmo Telekom faced during its time in Dankuk including threats against its staff, several reported break-ins into the headquarters in Taeyangsudo and repeated claims by Dankukin police that the company had been spying on the Dankukin population on behalf of the Kazulian Government. The telecommunication company has operated out of Dankuk as the nation's market, at the time of the subsidiary's creation, showed promise for upcoming businesses. However, in recent times, the nation's economy has been taking several beatings at the hands of Kazulian economic sanctions in response to the nation's actions in the regional spectrum and as such business development has been on a low. According to CEO of Korsmo Telekom, Otto Frydenlund, the economic decline in Dankuk coupled with the economic sanctions imposed on the nation by the government which barred Kazulian companies from interacting with Dankukin business and political entities forced the company to focus on expanding its international profile whilst not being allowed to interact with Dankukin business and political entities. Frydenlund stated that although the company had not interacted with Dankukin businesses, the company had focused on expanding into the international market with its international operations being based in the Dankuk headquarters.

CEO of Korsmo Electronics and Communications, Karianne Christiansen ordered the cessation of Korsmo Telekom operations in Dankuk. With the company turning out with losses due to monthly expanses having to be paid at the hands of Kazulian economic sanctions, Christiansen stated that the Board of Directors had come to the decision that the company would cease its operations in Dankuk. In a letter to the editor, Chief Operations Manager of Korsmo Telekom, Vilhelm Tae-Hee (Kazulian of Kyo decent), offered his insight into the cessation of operations.
I have spoken to Mr. Frydenlund on several occasions and he had expressed his concern for the staff which the company will leave behind. With the travel ban barring Dankukin citizens from entering Kazulia, once the company closes it doors it leaves almost 3,000 Dankukin citizens without employment. I received a letter from Mr. Frydenlund and Ms. Christiansen informing me that the company will be paying each employee their final salary, by next month, when operations official cease. Already the company is dismantling its telecommunication systems scattered across the country, citing that the Kazulian Department of Trade and Industry warned of imposing massive fines if the company had left its infrastructure in Dankuk intact, thus allowing for Dankukin companies and other entities to utilise the infrastructure for various activities. I have sent back letters to both Mr. Frydenlund (who has been called back to Sutherland, Kazulia) and Ms. Christiansen asking them as to what will be the company's next step, as i believe they will not abandon their employees.

Christiansen stated that Dankukin operations would be relocated to Indrala and Sekowo with some of its Dankukin staff being sent to Sekowo. Frydenlund stated that he will remain as the CEO of Korsmo Telekom and would see the opening of Korsmo Telekom Indrala and Korsmo Telekom Sekowo. According to Christiansen, the Indralan and Sekowan markets had shown promise for stability and opportunity for the company to expand. According to Christiansen, Paek Tae-Hee will be transferred from Dankuk to Indrala where he is expected to govern over Korsmo Telekom Indrala. Christiansen placed a significant emphasis on the importance of ensuring that Korsmo Telekom Indrala's launch would be welcomed in the Indralan telecommunication market as she has stated that Frydenlund expressed great desire in introducing new systems within the Indralan market. For now the company's transition is underway with the "great relocation" set for tomorrow. It has been reported the Korsmo Telekom infrastructure including fibre wires and cell-phone towers are being dismantled in accordance with Kazulian government regulations.

Armed Forces to train Hulstrian and Sekowan Soldiers
Kazulian Armed Forces launches long-term training programme for Hulstrian troops.

Kazulian military personnel will begin training troops from the Hulstrian Armed Forces under a long-term agreement between the nations, in an attempt to prepare the nations to be fully integrated into the Northern Council. The Hulstrian Armed Forces according the Zardic Institute for International Affairs is considered to be a small military powers, possessing an under-equipped, and under-trained armed forces. According to officials from the International Military Assistance and Training (IMAT) Programme, the Hulstrian Armed Forces must contribute to security throughout the region and as such the Kazulian Armed Forces is prepared to institute the reforms needed in bringing the Hulstrian Armed Forces onto a footing on par with the Kazulian Armed Forces or better in some cases. Brigadier Torsten Järnefelt, Commander of the Kazulian Military Assistance and Training team sent to Hulstria, stated that as time develops, the Department of Defence will expand the Military Assistance and Training Programme to involve the Hulstrian Armed Forces in deployments throughout the region and possibly within other continents as the Northern Council dictates.

The training is apart of the Kazulian Armed Forces' efforts to strengthen Hulstria's ability to defend itself following an increase in instability within the region, specifically in the north. Järnefelt stated that the current phase of the military assistance and training programme was aimed at developing tactics for the Hulstrian Armed Forces and honing their combat skills. He stated that he was uncertain of whether a memorandum of understanding similar to that between Kazulia and Lourenne would be applied by the Department of Foreign Affairs, however he voiced support of the idea, citing it as a possible positive vector towards the Hulstrian Armed Forces becoming more combat effective and being capable of defending themselves and more. Currently, the Hulstrian Armed Forces stands with a minor bracket and according to Brigadier Järnefelt, although the current numbers are satisfactory for a nation of its size and calibre, the issue lies in the nation's outward capabilities. He cited that the lack of interpolarity within the nations' armed forces would make it difficult for the nation to properly transition into the formations of the Northern Council.

Although plans for the formation of joint language training have been proposed, this is be introduced once the nation has completely integrated into the Northern Council formations. The languages spoken within the Northern Council are: Kazulianisk, Dundorfian, Canrillaise, Dorvish and Luthorian. The addition of a Hulstrian speaking nation would offer an increased understanding of the language by other Northern Council members, mainly Dorvik, Hutori, Luthori, Lourenne, New Endralon and Kazulia. It has been speculated that once Hulstria's aerospace forces have been primed for combat, the Northern Defence Integrated Command will introduce the nation to its joint aerospace monitoring alliance.
