Rutanian Coastal Banking Association (RCBA) founded
On January 14th 4376 5 private Rutanian banks came together to form the Rutanian Coastal Banking Association. The organization was described to reporters as a lobbying and Public Relations institution created by 5 private banking institutions in Rutania; the Bank of Northern Rutania, Morris Mountain Bank, Finkley Coastal Banking Corp., Rutanian Metropolitan Commercial Bank, and the Albert Banking Corporation. A spokesman for the organization said organization was created to promote the interest of the business and banking community within the nation and abroad to defend and promote the success of Rutania's finance sector. Sources close to the organization's operation say that they are currently working to develop a strategy to push trade deals that would benefit the Rutanian finance sector in the upcoming Northern Council Conference to be held in Rutania in October. The spokesman for the RCBA stated that the organization intends to make significant donations to members of the governing coalition in a push to get a second term for an administration that delivered some of the largest tax cuts in decades.

Prime Minister Carson Threadgood officially backs President Barlow for a second term at Whig Party Convention
Prime Minister Carson Threadgood safely secured leadership of the Whig Party at the Parties Convention where he and both of the other Whig National Council members secured their seats in the parties national leadership. Following announcement of his continued party leadership Prime Minister took to the stage to announce that the Whig Party would back President Barlow "the Hick" for a second term. The Prime Minister went on in a 30 minute speech praising the President and the governing coalition for passing courageous tax and budget reform bills and making meaningful progress in curbing the power of the 'corrupt' unions and democratic workers councils. The Prime Minister then went on to make a rousing appeal that people get out and vote to support Whig candidates, saying " the only we can send a message to Vanderburg is to send a majority that demands 'free-market' policies within the nation.
The Whig Party also unveiled their new poster clearly meant to counter the DSPR's campaign.
