DragonTech Releases FortRoyale Beta
18 April 4422
Image

Hoping to capitalize on the popularity of PACE's hit battle royale video game, Chicken Dinner, DragonTech Studios has released an open beta version of their own online competitive game. FortRoyale has emerged from DragonTech rather quickly following Chicken Dinner's release but this is in large part due to the game's dependence on pre-built assets and programming that existed for an unreleased project that was originally overseen by Lü Seojun, prior to his abduction by foreign agents. Lü, formerly a professional streamer and gamer, was instrumental in the creation of DragonTech and its related properties, especially its e-sports wing. From his own experiences prior to leading FangCaiRyeo Group, the original gaming project was envisioned as becoming the leading competitive game. Now, many decades later, it has been revived and revamped for current generation computers. However, FortRoyale remains a work-in-progress and through the free open beta DragonTech hopes to work towards creating the optimal final product that can go to full release by the middle of next year.

Chief Counselor Lü Emphasizes Commitment to Responsive Governance
22 April 4422
Image

Responding to criticism received from the emerging Sunrise Party, New Dawn's leadership has reiterated its commitment to an open and responsive government. Questioned by reporters, Chief Counselor Lü Jaewoo lit up and quickly took the opportunity to express his continued commitment to the OurYingdala Portal. "This portal we created, it is a living resource. The laws were passed to create it and establish the offices to oversee it but we continue to look at all the ways to improve it. And why? The entire purpose of OurYingdala to make the Indralan government more responsive to the people and to make it easier for the people to get a line to their representatives. This ambitious project has relied on the work of a lot of devoted people with backgrounds at Zhijia and TQ Electronics combined with the expertise of academics and public administrators. The notion that the government has somehow forgotten the people is simply false. We are leading the way in bringing Indrala a globally unique expansion of democratic access and, even in the absence of OurYingdala, our party and our partners have always sought to be responsible and responsive in representing this nation's citizens, whether they live in the high rises of Kaizhou or the villages of Anle."

Disgruntled & Dishonored, Dethroned Heir Vents from Dalibor
8 June 4422

The 21-year old son of the former FCR Group chairman Lü Daejung has emerged publically for the first time, angrily venting in an online video shaming his extended family for their “betrayal,” accusing them of “abandoning the family’s powerful legacy,” and “surrendering themselves to the Indralan king.” In the video, Ryeo Hajun, who makes a point to use his natively spelled name, goes on to assert that his family has thrown away its “greatest opportunity to expand influence.” He accuses Lü Yejun of having hijacked the family’s royal background, stealing the “rightful and direct” claims held by those descended from Ryeo Seojun, all while “deliberately destroying the family’s future prospects.” Hajun goes on to urge the newer generations of the Lü Clan to “recapture the spirit of their ancestors” and to join him in “bringing even greater power to their family.” Further, he calls upon the “exiles of the homeland” to “reignite their fighting spirit” and to bring about a “new Kyobando ideal, never surrendering their true identity.”

Jiyu Takes Helm of Revived Yincheng Amusement Park Project
After sitting abandoned for a number of years, the plans for an amusement park in northern Yincheng have returned to life with newfound investment from the FCR Group. Not without controversy, Jiyu has taken a leading role in this revived project, although with close oversight from other executives closely connected to Chairman Fang. The project, deemed "grander" than the last, establishes three separate parks with a central commercial cluster of hotels and restaurants. Each park will have its own theme; one will be a water park and the other is building upon DragonTech properties, likely focusing on technology and/or science fiction. The third is rumored to be titled as JiyuWorld, though this is unconfirmed.

Zhijia Unleashes Delivery Drones
Zhijia City has become the testing ground for autonomous delivery drones, delivering small goods and even food. Developed by the technology company Zhijia, these drones are capable of transporting packages to designated locations at apartments and public spaces, at which point they are able to release the items to their recipient upon scanning of a mobile or printed receipt code. While currently limited to just Zhijia City and available only for certain products, the tests have so far been successful for the company. Testing is also being conducted, somewhat more extensively, on drone transportation between company facilities. On a smaller scale, Zhijia is also exploring the idea of autonomous vehicles that could deliver prepared food, such as pizza, directly to the street-side of a person's home. Tests on these vehicles are occasionally conducted under Zhijia observation in the central zone of the district, often with many interested onlookers taking pictures and video.

Chen Zemin wins SDP leadership
17 April 4421 (OOC: POSTDATED)
Image
Image
Chen Zemin, new leader of the Social Democratic Party pictured in a Kaizhou park.

TIAN'AN, Han: After an immensely successful national election for the SDP, in which the party gained 40 new seats in the Grand Assembly, members hit the polls once more to elect a new leader. This election has been a long time coming since Dr. Cheng Ah stepped down from the leadership.

The election pitted the party's interim leader: Chen Zemin and chancellor: Ngư Chiêu Minh against one another in what turned out to be a nearly razor thin victory for Chen. It is likely that the strong showing in last month's election, which featured Chen as the SDP's leader is what helped to push his vote into the victory, at 50.1%. Following up behind him was Ngư with 48.2% and Han Huang with .5% of the vote.

It is believed that Ngư will continue to lead the SDP from her current role as Chancellor, with the last election including a vote for the chancellorship.

Chen Zemin is rather young on the spectrum of Indralan politics, having risen to be interim leader at the age of 24, and winning a full election at 27. Prior to his tutelage under Dr. Cheng, Chen studied at Kaizhou National University's College of Law, from which he quickly moved into the political sphere.

Despite his glamorous university credentials, Chen was actually born to an impoverished Mundawan couple, labouring in the city's many factories. However, he was able persevere through the many hardships, even came to help support his family through various odd jobs, while still maintaining his commitment to his own education.

Chen Zemin attacks the Sunrise Party
The Party Leader spoke out against Indrala's newest party
Image
Image
Chen speaking at an event at KNU

KAIZHOU, Jiaozhi Province: During a meet-up with students at Kaizhou National University, Chen's alma mater, the SDP leader was asked for his opinion of the recently founded Sunrise Party.

Chen's statements started of rather positively, which seemed to cause a bit of excitement and confusion in the crowd.

"I think that its great that a new politician has decided to make their way into the Indralan political scene," said Chen, "having new faces and ideas in government is always a plus. In fact, in most cases a new party in government only leads to Indrala's benefit, such as with our other newest party: the Taoists."

His rather vague compliment quickly turned aggressive though, as he began to reveal his true opinion of the party.

"However, I must say I am quite disappointed with the Sunrise Party's attack on the government in Indrala," he said, "I, for one, am very proud of what we've been able to accomplish since the fall of republican ideology in Indrala. Our current ability to work across the aisle with all parties, whether in coalition or not, is what has truly made Indrala into a special and beautifully functioning place."

When asked about claim by the Sunrise Party that Indrala was controlled by a 'conservative majority', Chen had a lot to say.

"I ask all Indralans, since when has the leading coalition been conservative? Since when has my party been conservative? Never I say! When have we been a threat to liberalism and progressivism as suggested by Li Peng? NEVER!" called out a riled up Chen, "We as a party, nay a government, have managed to stand for the rights of workers across Indrala, while still promoting policies of business growth and liberal thought. In fact, I would say that Li's party is the true threat to progressivism in Indrala. I mean, just look at their track record over the past few months. They claim to uphold our values, yet bash us for them, when they are the ones who have supported the limiting of personal freedoms. Furthermore, I ask how does privatising everything without regulation help the common Indralan worker? It doesn't! All I see from Li is lies!"

After his speech about the Sunrise Party, Chen continued to answer questions from the students, all of which he was reported as calling a brilliant crop of students from the best university Indrala has to offer.

Tiankong Group announces they will begin manufacturing planes
A manufacturing complex has been constructed in Mundawan

Inside look at Tiankong's new manufacturing plant in Mundawan

NATIONWIDE: Over the past year, a mysterious construction project had begun and finished in Mundawan's sprawling industrial district, a project when according to many locals, seemed to take up the spot where many a factory had once stood.

Today, Tiankong Group's Ren Xuefeng has announced that the construction is actually on a piece of land that was purchased by the growing caizu over 4 years ago when they first began construction of Sky City: Mundawan. The site will be home to a new plane manufacturing plant for the group, which will allow them to cut out the middle man, making them basically the sole producers and users of planes in the State of Indrala.

Ren did however say that the group would continue to work for the local population, like with their other projects.

"The Tiankong Group has not forgotten our initiative to help the people around our company," said Ren, "the local community is, and always will be the backbone of our company. And in following with these ideals, we've decided to rig up the manufacturing site with some cool bonuses for our workers and their families."

The site will not only be home to three large factories, which will be run on green technology, but will also include a central park and community space breaking up the buildings. Along with this, the company announced that affordable housing for workers was in the midst of construction, and slated to finish before the end of the year.

Fang Lin Elected Sunrise Party President
Renowned human rights lawyer and Activist believes it is time to hold the present government to account

Li Peng and Fang Lin minutes after her election win

TAIXI, Anle Province: Human Rights lawyer Fang Lin has been elected President of the Sunrise Party after an action packed election which led to her winning a landslide victory against her electoral rivals.

Fang Lin grew up near Lanbao, Min province, to a poor peasant family. But through her parents hard work and her own perseverance she was able to push above her class and go to university to study law, before becoming a human rights attorney, working on several high profile cases both at home and abroad.

Fang Lin has now pledged to enter politics and put the coalition government on trial, "The present government's obvious corruption is testament to the flaws within present political and economic culture. I am thoroughly committed to ensuring the betterment of democracy in Indrala and I believe that the Sunrise Party is the best party for the job".

Party leader Li Peng congratulated her, proclaiming her to be, "a prestigious and highly formidable human rights lawyer who has seen in our party a cause worth fighting for".

"Her election to this new post of Party President is a perfect demonstration of our objective to increase freedom and economic prosperity to Indrala. I could not be more happy to begin working with her to bring about the change which both we and the people of this land want to see".

Li Peng Fires Back At SDP Leader Zemin
Says his politics represents the worst the current political culture has to offer, but welcomes criticism
Image

During a press conference following the election of Party President Lin, Party Leader Li Peng of the Sunrise Party fired back at the newly elected leader of the Social Democrats Chen Zemin.

He said, " I first want to congratulate Chen on his recent election win. He seems to be skilled professional politician with a talent for rhetoric, and to get to where he is as such a young age is a great achievement."

"I would also like to thank him for his comments concerning my party and especially concerning me. It has been a long time since I have seen any criticism or debate between parties on the right and left of the Indralan political sphere and it is highly refreshing to hear such statements".

"However concerning the comments that he made, it is undeniable that he is wrong in this. He states that we call his government conservative while ourselves limiting social freedoms. I don't regard eliminating state involvement on an issue such as adultery as an affront to freedom. Indeed it is the very opposite. It is by the elimination of regulation when no regulation is necessary that real freedom is attained. Ending government involvement in the personal matter of adultery isn't oppressive, it is liberating."

"Concerning his claims that his party defends workers rights and freedoms, he seems to ignore the politicians he is in bed with, and although his aims are admirable, they really are, in practice he might as well be a member of the Lü Clan himself. It is through opposition to the corporate elite that they are defeated, and it is through submission and incorporation into their governments that the Social Democrats are disarmed."

"Luckily the Sunrise Party, who Chen paradoxically calls the "progressive's" biggest threat, would never bow down to these noble and corporate oligarchs, as the Social Democrats have and continue to do under Zemin. Indrala deserves and demands change in this regard and whether the traditional left is with us or against us is up to them. "

Lotus Party Leader disappointed by "chirping politicians"

Li distributes used books at an event alongside "Literacy Indrala" volunteers

DONGJING, Anle: On a campaign trek through rural Anle, Lotus Party Leader Li "the Poet" Jinyu made an appearance volunteering with "Literacy Indrala" in suburban Dongjing, Anle. After personally greeting and talking with pedestrians and constituents, Li Jinyu addressed a small crowd, consistently coming back to the importance of unity and civility.

"It is disappointing to see how many politicians as of late have been resorting to chirping and levelling petty attacks," Li Jinyu said. "My job, as an Assemblyman and as leader of this party, is to move past that and deliver real change for the people of this country."

Li Jinyu briefly discussed the emergent Sunrise Party in his comments, raising disappointment with the "hyper-partisanship" that Li Jinyu says the party seeks to create.

"As politics in this country evolves past the vitriolic era of the republican/monarchist divide, it is disappointing that Mr. Li Peng is eager to expand on divisions rather than what unifies us," Li Jinyu said. The Lotus Party leader also criticized comments from the Sunrise Party's leadership regarding the lineage of the Chief Counselor.

"Do we not live in a meritocratic society?" Li asked. "Rather than criticize our Chief Counselor on his birth relations, why not focus on policy? The people of Indrala selected Duke Lü as Chief Counselor in a free and democratic election. If Mr. Li Peng wants to be promoted to that job, he should put in the work, not attack people and their families."

Despite his disagreements with recent rhetoric from the Sunrise Party, Li Jinyu said that he hopes to work with the Party in areas of mutual agreement. At present, the parties have a 78% similar voting rate.

VOICES: "Beatmania not infectious in Indrala"
30 July 4422 (OOC: Postdated)

Beat Brothers' concert in Tian'an

The following is an opinion piece submitted by Ms. Zhu Xudan, Director of Overseas Operations for YM Entertainment:

Kalistan, which had long been considered the "Most Musical Nation" on the planet, faced a period of decline through which Indralan pop music and culture was able to spread across Seleya. Now with a resurgent Kalistani music industry, and an emerging Valruzian industry as well, many Seleyan commentators have suggested that Indrala's distinct hegemony on entertainment as under threat.

Much can be said of the rise of pop-rock sensations the Beat Brothers. Perhaps what is quite notable is that many of the articles published on the band in their native Valruzia references YingPop and it's pervasive nature across Seleya and around the world. "Could the time finally be right for the Beat Brothers to knock YingPop off it's perch?" asks one article. "...can the rock n' roll band rival the success of YingPop?" asks another. With all this speculation, it appears that the band felt it was time to find out.

Last week, to great fanfare, the Beat Brothers arrived in Tian'an. The four-man group toured around our capital, exhibiting respect for our cultural sites and traditions. They were also followed by notable numbers of fanatic fans, such that their first three shows were sold out in Tian'an. However, despite the bluster of their lead singer Hanuszek Leminski published in Wewnątrz Nowogard, the turnout was nowhere near the size of the crowds seen in Mordusia, Kanjor, Kalistan or any other spot on the Seleyan tour. About 26,000 people saw the band perform in Indrala overall. The concerts were not broadcast domestically.

Indrala-chapter President of the Beat Brothers Fan Club, Yumana Takagi, understood that the band might not strike the right cord for "mainstream type" Indralans.

"While we will certainly go down and support our boys, many mainstreamers won't," Takagi wrote in a blog post. "We have to be twice as enthusiastic at the concert so [the band] don't end [the tour] on a low note!"

Takagi continued to explain that though the Beat Brothers "produce profoundly creative, fresh and unique music," their "unpolished nature, musical style, immodest personalities and subtle stage performance," doesn't suit what most people in Indrala expect to see from performers. Indeed, while the remarkably successful lead single from the Beat Brothers second album, Introducing... The Beat Brothers, reached the top of the charts in Valruzia, Kalistan and many other Seleyan nations, the song peaked at 14 on the WEILAI Music Chart Top 40 before summarily sliding off.

"What kind of boy group cannot dance?" wrote one Indralan netizen. "I can see why foreigners might like this... but [they] don't interest me," said another. While the Beat Brothers are certainly gifted musicians, they simply don't align with Indrala entertainment industry standards. In Indrala, for many years, people have grown to expect performers to be gifted singers, dancers, musicians and actors in addition to having bright, clean and fun personalities. The Beat Brothers, who routinely speak about their own celebrity in less-than-modest terms, don't exactly match these guidelines. Though the Beat Brothers, in many respects, have been able to subvert and reinvent cultural norms across the continent, perhaps a nation which deeply values propriety can't be so changed.

Zifada Museum Opens Inaugural Exhibit
28 November 4423
Image

The institutional museum of the Zhijia Institute for Fashion, Artistic Design, and Architecture has officially opened its inaugural exhibit, featuring some of the best artistic works of Jiyu and a number of outstanding Zifada students. The free exhibit is open to the public although attendees are welcome to offer donations to support scholarships for future Zifada students and their projects. Jiyu's central installation in the Zifada Museum is a surreal and abstract construct of many shapes, designs, and colors combined with extensive use of mirrors to create an infinite appearance for the exhibit. This greatly expands upon Jiyu's long standing artistic style and for the first time presents it in its most grand scale.

With the opening day featuring appearances by the Chief Counselor Lü Jaewoo and Kaizhou Mayor Lü Yeongja, the museum has continued to draw large crowds in the days since its unveiling. Promotional banners have lined the streets of Zhijia City and throughout Kaizhou temporary sculptures have appeared in strategic areas, all with connection to the larger campaign to build interest in Zifada and its new museum.

Luk Kwong Yi Founds Agrarian Alliance
30 November 4423
Image

Beyond his duties as the Minister of Food & Agriculture, Luk Kwong Yi has committed his public service to the protection of Indrala's rural communities and the interests of small businesses as they compete against the caizu hegemony. Selected to lead the national office for agriculture, New Dawn made a conscious choice to elevate a proponent for such groups, despite New Dawn's general orientation towards urban centres and big business. Luk, having gained media attention in his protests against TQ Group's Marina City, had roots as a horticulturalist in Jugang before meeting and eventually marrying the daughter of artist Jiyu. However, before he ever gained his post-Marina City prominence, Luk was one of the many New Dawn supporters that advocated for the party's shift towards regionalism on issues like agriculture and ecology. Furthermore, especially since having taken on a larger role in both the party and the nation, Luk has pushed for more attention to be given to Indrala's rural regions and to provide them just as much attention in all the talk of innovation and future growth.

Now, seeking to give members of the rural communities a more direct forum to communicate their interests, Luk has founded the National Agrarian Federation (NAF) to represent their interests and to advocate for a future that safeguards farmers, fisherman, and other village-based economic workers even as science and technology continues to rapidly progress. The NAF seeks to pave the way for the often urban-centric technological advancements to also have positive outcomes for rural areas and it stands for upholding rural job security through adapted technologies and worker development targeted at negatively effected employment sectors. Nonetheless, the NAF strives to uphold some of the old-fashioned community of the villages and it takes a strong stance against large-scale urban development projects.

Ryeo Hajun Asserts Family Claims
30 November 4423

Grandson of disgraced FCR Group Chairman Lü Seongmin, Ryeo Hajun has officially laid out his claims to the House of Ryeo and, by extension, the Lü Clan. While he is the most senior direct male descendant of the last emperor, it has been generally accepted that the family's continued claims associated with the former monarchy are held through the descendants of Lü Yejun. However, this hasn't been without any dispute the more hardline Ryeo loyalist circles that still exist have sought to rally around a native-born family member descended from the last emperor of the first empire. Certainly Ryeo Hajun has sought to appeal to these hardliners as he turns against the liberalized and "Indrala-cized" members of the Lü Clan. In asserting his right to the claims of the House of Ryeo, Hajun has also revived an old vision for pan-Dovanian unity, advocating for the major nations to be brought under one banner. Hajun made it entirely clear in his statement that that banner would be that of his own envisioned empire. These assertions coming from Hajun in Dalibor, the Lü Clan has offered no response and will likely continue to have no response to the fallen caizu heir.

Tiandi Daily

After 80 Years in Abeyance, Jienists Restore Party with Registration

Image
Yan He announcing the successful registration of the Jien Party

The oldest Indralan political party and natural party of government has seemingly resurrected itself after decades of inactivity. Long thought to be dead after the establishment of the Yu Dynasty, the group of die-hard practitioners and scholars of the ways of Jienfushi has managed to reorganize itself - albeit on a much smaller scale.

Billing itself as a consortium of Jienists, farmers, and those yearning for the days when Indrala was among the Great Powers of Terra, the party seeks to maintain Indrala's incredible economic recovery, transform Indrala's economic power into military might, uphold and defend the monarchical institution under the Yu Dynasty, and implement an orthodox and traditional interpretation of Jienism.

Led by Yan He, a former civil servant in the Ministry of Finance and President of the Jienist Academy, a think tank and private education institution in Tian'an, the party has been quietly building consensus among central and local leadership. Although still more of association than a party at this point, Yan He has big plans for party building.

We take Sun Yijun, the first Son of Heaven of the Yu Dynasty, as our inspiration. He was truly 'from the people,' as Master Ji would say. The only way to obtain political power is by gaining the trust of the people. Thus, we shall follow His Late Majesty's example and begin a nationwide tour amongst the villages and rural communities of the country. We will listen to their concerns - first addressing what we can as a community organization and secondly promising to alleviate them after being trusted with authority.

Our road is long and history deep, but we anticipate to be warmly received by the people.

Ambitious the Jien Party certainly is. A major policy they plan to push is anti-trust reform with the intention to ban monopolies in all sectors of the economy. No doubt this will come into conflict with the caizu and their seeming monopoly on Indralan politics, but new forces may be amenable to such a change. Only time will tell if the Jien Party, rulers of Indrala for nearly one thousand years, will attain its old stature.

Duke of Han Petitions Son of Heaven Over Titles

Image
Wu Hui's letter is said to be written in the ancient seal script, intelligible only to the most erudite Indralan linguists

Long quiet and long keeping to themselves, the Wu Clan, formerly the Indralan Imperial Clan now deposed and holding a special status outside the current Imperial Clan, has issued a formal letter of petition to the Son of Heaven with a copy for the Chief Counselor. One of the first of its kind in the new era, the petition, written and sealed by Wu Hui, the current Duke of Han, strongly urges His Majesty to change the title of the Wu Clan nobles to "Duke of Shu," reflecting the origins of the family in Shu Province.

Some claiming connection to the Wu Clan say that although Han Province is certainly more prestigious in terms of it holding the capital city, Shu is the home of the family. Therefore, the current title brings disrespect upon the Wu Clan progenitors. Others say that Duke Wu Hui wants to move far away from Tian'an to prevent any Indralan to clamor for a He Dynasty restoration. It is likely that the former is closer to the truth, although very little can be absolutely certain.

What is certain, however, is that the petition could be the first sign of increased activity from the clan.

New Dawn Prepares for Leadership Elections
15 May 4424
Image-Image-Image

Chief Counselor Lü Jaewoo has announced his intention to step down from his leadership role in New Dawn and his party is now making preparations to select a new party head. While the Chief Counselor will continue in his national political role in Tian'an, his party successor will be responsible for guiding New Dawn in the next elections and, should the party uphold its top position in the Grand Assembly, that successor would ultimately replace of Lü Jaewoo as Chief Counselor. At the age of eighty-two, Chief Counselor Lü has expressed his interest in moving towards retirement in the coming years. Furthermore, he declared that he felt the time was right for New Dawn to shift to a younger generation of leadership.

Among the top contenders for the New Dawn leadership election are Kaizhou Mayor Lü Yeongja, digital creator Luk Runmei, and urban developer Duan Yu-sheng. While Mayor Lü enjoys strong support among the party's establishment and the closest loyalists of the Lü Clan, there is also considerable energy in Luk's early campaigning. Himself an extended member of the Lü Clan via his grandmother Jiyu, Luk is by far the most youthful candidate by many decades, appealing to New Dawn's historic orientation towards the younger demographic and he is viewed as the safest departure from the status quo, albeit successful, that would likely be upheld by Mayor Lü. Meanwhile, Duan faces an uphill battle against the name recognition behind his two main opponents but he is an unquestionable choice for New Dawn supporters seeking a leader completely detached from the Lü Clan.

Early campaigning has brought clashes between Luk and Duan, who are at odds over the issue of urban development. Duan, professionally a real estate developer, is openly supportive of caizu projects like the Sky Cities and TQ's Marina City. In contrast Luk has shown some alignment towards the objectives of the National Agrarian Federation, criticizing the impact of these planned "mini-cities" on small communities and long-standing unique neighborhoods. Beyond development policy, while Duan is very economically focused, Luk has pushed a heavily secular and social agenda, seeking to expand representation for Indrala's underrepresented populations, such as the LGBT community and ethnic minorities. Mayor Lü, running on her success governing Kaizhou, has avoided major debate with either of her opponents and has been careful to run a non-offensive campaign that appeals to as many people as possible.

Zhijia Grand Park Reveals Park Themes

The Yincheng amusement park project, now officially named Zhijia Grand Park, has unveiled the themes of its three separate amusement parks. The largest park is Jinshan Technoland, which will incorporate many cultural elements related to YingPop, Kyo-pop, science fiction, and technology. Jinshan Technoland will feature at least two steel roller coasters in addition to a number of other rides, including virtual reality attractions and neon cyberpunk styled arcades. Joining this park is Yincheng Bay, an expansive water park, half of which is totally indoors allowing year-round access to a "tropical beach" in the center of Indrala. The third park is JiyuWorld, which draws heavily upon the abstract and surrealist art of Jiyu, builds a fantasy world featuring unique, contrasting architectural styles, mind-bending thrill rides, and varieties of interactive exhibits.

Made possible with significant financial backing of the FangCaiRyeo Group, the Zhijia Grand Park is projected to surpass TQ World as the largest amusement park in Indrala.

Luk Leads New Dawn

The final two months of the New Dawn leadership campaign proved to be quite contentious as Luk Runmei's surging popularity forced Mayor Lü Yeongja into open debate featuring the three main candidates for the party. Clashes continued between Luk and Duan Yu-sheng over development policy and, after having long avoided the issue, Mayor Lü also faced herself having to take on a public stance in the matter. Appearing non-committal, in the second leadership debate Mayor Lü delivered a statement that many watchers considered to be obviously and deliberately deceptive as she struggled to provide a clear position. She claimed sympathy to the anti-development side and within moments took on a dismissive tone regarding opponents of caizu led projects. All in all, it was unclear what point Mayor Lü was looking to make and this flub was soon followed by Luk surpassing Lü in opinion polling for the first time. While Mayor Lü saw major failure in the debates, she did maintain a lead over Duan's campaign, which entirely collapsed after the third and final debate. Viewed by many as blindly taking a hard-line on any and all types of mass development, Duan became seen as largely acting for his own interests as a developer and investor. As the day of the leadership vote approached, Mayor Lü faced similar criticisms relating to the broad influence of her family over politics and big business. Luk, enjoying membership in a rather disconnected branch of the Lü Clan, all thanks to his grandmother Jiyu, found himself free of such critiques and, most of all, he captured the youthful energy sought for the party's leadership, as suggested was needed by outgoing leader Lü Jaewoo.

With the campaign having finally come to its end, Luk Runmei emerged victorious in a narrow election capturing 50.2% of the vote. Mayor Lü received 49.1% of votes and Duan, although withdrawn from the race, received 0.7%. Appearing alongside his partner Qiao Zhongtian following the late-night victory announcement, Luk thanked his supporters for all their work in the tough leadership campaign. He continued on to lay out his vision to "recapture New Dawn's innovative and scientific" identity, declaring a commitment to environmental protection, promotion of research on new energy sources, and elevating the public voice of Indrala's underrepresented populations. In addition to his goals to revive New Dawn's traditional platform and core ideals, Luk also took target at the growth in religious-based political organizations, contrasting New Dawn's vision against that of opposition parties. However, these critiques also were a subtle swipe at the socially restricted legislation that has been proposed in the past by the Lotus Party.
