THE COBURAN PLAN OF ACTION
CABINET PRESENTS ‘’OPERATION DESERT VIPER’’
SHARBA – Following the failure of the Coburan DEFCON defence plan, the Coburan Cabinet, in cooperation with the Coburan Armed Forces, have presented a new strategy in the never ending war against Zardugal. The plan already has the support of Istalia and Vanuku, who jointly aid the Coburans with 50,000 additional soldiers and massive material resources.
The plan, called ‘’Operation Desert Viper’’ was presented by Minister of Defence Smira Aganyewi. Desert Viper is the second trial of the Coburan Armed Forces to retake the occupied Coburan land, after the DEFCON defence programme failed miserably. Due to understaffing, outdated equipment and bad planning, the CAF have already suffered over 30,000 losses in army that has been completely surprised by the Zardic invasion. Currently, the Zardic Army holds a considerably large part of both the Egato and Irkawa governorate, almost a couple miles near the important city of Manshopi and not far away from the Coburan Capital of Sharba.
As a result, the Cabinet recognised DEFCON as ‘’mission not accomplished’’ and proceeded to make a new plan. Together with Istalia, Vanuku and the Esinsundu Empire, the army was reorganised and will now enter a new phase of the current conflict.
The comprehensive tactic includes large-scale military training done by both Istalian and Vanukuan soldiers who will replace Coburan instructors. Also, both Istalian and Vanukuan equipment will be shipped to Kuracgrad, which will serve as centre of distribution for the CAF. Also, approximately 50,000 soldiers are underway to assist the CAF in the current conflict against the Zardic Army.
The massive aid is part of the international response against Zardugal’s horrid acts. Both the WC Security Council, of which Cobura is a frequently seen member, and the Majatran Alliance jointly condemned the illegal invasion of Cobura. Being part of the MA, Cobura quickly received aid from international vital nations such as Istalia and Vanuku. With the new help, Coburan chances are improving again.
Following the presentation of the plan to the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Sidhom gave a brief statement about the current situation and the prospections:
It is important for all Coburans to never lose hope. The longer this conflict becomes and the more gruesome acts are done by the Zardic Army, faith in survival is fading. But as your Prime Minister and fellow citizen, I can assure you that every day and night thousands of brave Coburans are working as hard as they can to protect you, your children and generations to come. The sacrifices that have already been made for our freedom are gigantic. Let’s not turn them to waste by giving in to fear! We will fight for as long as we have to in order to protect our values of democracy, equality and tolerance! For as long as I may live, I will fight for the independence of Cobura and the perseverance of its constitution!
We are blessed by our vital allies Istalia and Vanuku. Two nations that, despite their different views, have set their troubles aside to help us when we need them the most. Representing all Coburans, I must say that there are no words to describe our gratitude for these governments for helping us protect democracy and liberty in West Majatra. This shows that international cooperation is again the key to create resistance to horrid regimes like Zardugal and its poisonous ideologies.
