Ministry of Foreign Affairs creates diplomatic agenda for the next 30 years 15th September, 4508Royal Cabinet Building in EroncourtEroncourt, Joviant: A large conference between members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held today in Eroncourt.
The Ministry held a large conference to decide the Kingdom's stance in regards to global interventionism and diplomatic
policy. Deputy Minister to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dipou Chental, stated that Lourenne should take an isolationist
approach to worldly affairs. He stated that for far too long " Lourenne was wasting its manpower and resources in futile
conflicts that we should never have participated in." Secretaries and interns working for the ministry quickly rejected
Chental's ideas. "Isolationism is not how we must approach the world" stated one intern. "Our goal is to be a guide and
voice of peace throughout the north.". After the comments by the intern, the rest of those at the conference agreed
that the country should continue an extreme internationalist policy throughout the next few decades.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Louis Fernand approved the proposal at the conference. Parts of the proposal were shown
to foreign policy experts and the press a few moments after the conference for transparency. In the first few motions
of the proposal, the Ministry of Defense is set to make the Anantonese Ocean Treaty Organization a top priority. The
Alliance with Baltusia and most importantly Indrala, will be the only treaty that Lourenne will be a part of that includes
mutual defense and security. The same section also stated that "
The United Kingdom of Lourenne will continue to establish
concrete relations with the nations of Hutori, Kazulia, Dorvik, Baltusia, Indrala, Zardugal, Keymon, and Valruzia". The
proposal, in another section, stated that the country would be pursuing a "peace through strength" attitude meaning the
country will seek to establish peace throughout the world by any means. The Kingdom is expected to raise expenditure
levels for humanitarian/international aid as well as conduct various state visits throughout the next 20 years.
