Rural Leader Tucker Glenn founds Noah O'Keefe Institute
Years after the passing of iconic Rutanian statesman Noah O'Keefe, Rural chairman Tucker Glenn has founded the "Noah O'Keefe Institute". Glenn describes the institute as "an agrarian think thank, looking for ways to improve the lives of all rural people in Rutania". Glenn points out that the institute wants members from all over the political spectrum and is not connected to the Rural party. The institute will seek to educate and financially support agrarian members of parliament regardless of their political party.
Noah O'Keefe was known for his extraordinary popularity among the rural and working people of Rutania, which gained him the nickname "Hick". By far the most successful politician from the RRP, O'Keefe worked as the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Prime Minister and the President of Rutania. "He was a symbol of reason in a time when both the radical right and the left tried to gain power" says Glenn. The RRP has struggled to find similar success as they did with O'Keefe.
