HER ROYAL MAJESTY QUEEN ÉLÉONORE SAILS FOR LOURENNE
Royal wedding to be held soon
VOUBAIX NAVAL BASE, SEPTEMBER 2, 4535
As is tradition, the bride-to-be is to travel to her future husband's home for the wedding. Her Majesty Queen Éléonore departed Voubaix Naval Base only minutes ago on board NKSM Soleil Royal towards the distant lands of Lourenne alongside her family, the prime minister and minister of foreign affairs, her courtiers, a few hundred guests and her pet dog Lafitte and escorted by three Marine Royale vessels: the destroyer NKSM Gloire, the cruiser NKSM Foudre and the new battlecruiser NKSM Royaume de Kanjor which will split off from the group halfway through the voyage to participate in naval exercises.
Her Majesty and her guests are set to arrive in Avienne-les-Bains, Outannais, in a few days time. From there they will travel to the capital of Lourenne for the ceremony, something which is sure to be a grand spectacle and is expected to be viewed by hundreds of millions across the globe.
The wedding is set to take place against a backdrop of both international tension, as relations between Kanjor and Keymon reach an all-time low, and increased cooperation between the Kingdom of Kanjor and the United Kingdom of Lourenne, who are to hold military exercises together in the coming days, as well as share expertise, training and know-how in naval matters. It is clear that ties between Kanjor and Lourenne are strengthening even further, as these two glorious nations lead Canrillaise culture into the future.
