ADG PLANE GOES DOWN WITH 184 PEOPLE IN ADG 320'S DEDLIEST CRASH
AIR TIANAN SCHEDULED FLIGHT TO NOWOGARD LOST CONTACT MINUTES BEFORE LANDING. THE CRASH IS THE INDUSTRY DEADLIEST CRASH IN DECADES.

NOWOGARD - An ADG's 320 jet, operated by LOT Group's subsidiary Air Tian'an crashed 12 miles from the Nowogard Ignanski International Airport with 184 people on board, making it the refreshed model's first and at the same time deadliest crash of the whole family.

Flight AT1220, performed by almost brand new ADG 320, took off from the capital of Indrala Tian'an at 5:25 local time on Sunday and set its course on Nowogard. It is one of two daily scheduled flight performed by the airline. The aircraft was scheduled to land in Nowogard at 11:20 local time but at around 11:14 all communications with the plane was lost.

Pilots of the flight AT1220, capitan Robert Kłosek and first officer James Park did not report any issued with the aircraft prior to the communication loss. Flight controlers at Nowogard tried to reestablish contact with the plane but soon after their trials failed emergency services were informed about a plane crashing in a forest next to A14W highway 12 miles from the Ignanski Airport.

The search and rescue teams deployed quickly began looking for survivors and the National Board for Commercial Transport Safety informed that the terrain of the crash is off limits to civilians as the NBCTS is launching an investigation on the plane's crash. Within 2 hours after the crash the search and rescue teams informed that despite rapid actions of the emergency services there are no survivors. Soon after, NBCTS announced that two black boxes were found and will be analysed by the Board.

The accodent is the deadliest crash of the ADG 320 series and the most deadliest crash in the Valruzia since 4320 when Air Baltusia plane with 310 people on board crashed into the Southern Ocean. Air Tian'an announced that all aircraft of 320 family in its fleet has been grounded with immediate effect.

On borad of the plane that's crashed there were people from 8 countries:

- 6 citizens of Baltusia,
- 6 citizens of Tukarali,
- 1 citizen of Likatonia,

290,000 Soldiers, 400 Tanks, 250 Aircraft, 2 Carriers: Valruzia's Biggest Military Drills In Decades

NOWOGARD - Valruzia is mobilizing for what seems to be its largest military exercise in decades, if not the biggest. Ministry of National Defense in cooperation with the Office of the Prime Minister announced that a tense international climate that is often openly hostile against Valruzia is one of the factors behind the organization of the exercise. The exercises officially called "Valparaiso 4545"is set to involve nearly 290,000 soldiers, 400 tanks, 250 aircraft, and Valruzia both Aircraft Carriers. Valruzia announced that it intends to invite Tukarali, Baltusia, and Likatonia to join the exercise. The exercise will start in October and will last one and a half month.

In a separate display of military power, Valruzia was reported on Monday to have assembled a large flotilla of warships in the middle of the Valruzian Basin. Valruzian news media outlets, citing unnamed defense ministry officials, described it as Valruzia's largest deployment in the area ever and some even say that the main goal of those exercises in the Valruzian Basin was to simulate the naval invasion of the island of Keymon. The Valruzian Economist gained no confirmation if that was the official goal of the naval drills on Monday. One certain thing is that bilateral relations between Valruzia and Keymon have been shattered in recent years with Valruzia strongly opposing Keymon's trials to increase its influence in the Seleyan continent.

Known as Valparaiso 4545, the October military exercise involving land, air, and naval units will begin in Valruzia's Valusian Voivodeship. It is known that one of the exercises nicknamed "Golden Island" includes a simulated attack on from the sea and air near the city of Kninsk. Experts say that this is yet another example that MOND is testing the raiding capabilities of Valruzian armed forces and some say that this exercise is precisely aimed at simulating a Valruzian invasion on Keymon.

The situation on the Seleyan continent changed dramatically in recent decades with the partial fall of the Seleyan Union and with Keymon's ambitions to serve as one of the continental powers in Seleya. Valruzia which for decades now has been the strongest country on the continent is doing everything it can to bring back the previous status with strong SU and Keymon's influence in Seleya limited.

Asked on Tuesday at a regular briefing why Valparaiso 4545 would be so big, Government's spokeswoman Katarzyna Wistula said that the exercise's main goal is to prove Valruzia's self-defense capabilities are at the best possible level and that with the current international situation the government has no alternative.

NOWOGARD - The Sejm of the Republic of Valruzia has just agreed upon directing an additional 30 billion pesos to the Valruzian Aeronautics and Space Agency (VASA) which will be spent on the development and construction of a special laboratory module for the Hermes Program responsible for placing of the first permanent space station on Terra's orbit. VASA was approached by Kazulian SEED which next to Dorvik is the largest contributor to the Hermes Program. Valruzian Agency was invited to the programme and given the task to manufacture a special module for the international space station. VASA agreed to join the programme and initiated the FALCON (SOKÓŁ) programme or Special Exploratory-Laboratory Module (Specjalny Moduł Badawczo-Laboratoryjny) which will be a permanent module of the ISS and will be tasked with analysis of the influence the cosmic ray has on different organic compounds and the potential ways for its utilization on the ISS. With the additional 30 billion, VASA is willing to finish all the works on the module within 2 years.

It is not yet certain how the module will get to the ISS. Initial plan includes transportation of the laboratory by the sea to Kazulia and launching it from the SEED's spaceports but VASA announced that it will be pushing for the Valruzian-made module to be launched from Maria Drobnerska Spac Center in Gryfitow which has a lot of advantages over spaceports in Kazulia as both spaceports in Valruzia are located closer to the equator which greatly reduces the costs of launching.

Initially, VASA wanted to search for sustainable and cheap ways to power the ISS and wanted to put a small, modular nuclear reactor developed by WALATOM and Bonning Group which would allow for uninterrupted functioning of the ISS without the need to replace battery modules, but that idea was quickly vetoed by Kazulia. VASA has already announced that it still intends to launch its reactor to the orbit and dock it with one of Valnas satellites. The FALCON module with the reactor installed would be 12 meters long and 4 meters wide, but after Kazulia vetoed the idea VASA had to rearrange the module and now it is 6 meters long and 3,5 meters wide and will feature its own solar panels to power the vital units of the laboratory.

Valruzian deficit rises to 330 billion the highest level history of the Republic

NOWOGARD - The budgetary deficit rose to a record VPO 330 billion in fiscal year 4547, up by VPO 120 billion, according to final figures released Monday by the Ministry of Finance. That's the largest number since the beginning of the republic and also the current budget is the biggest national budget ever enacted by the Sejm. For the first time in history, planned annual budgetary expenditures will be bigger than VPO 1 trillion and will account for more than 44% of the GDP. The Sejm agreed to enact the controversial budget as the Ministry of Finance justified that with the need to stimulate the economy to protect it from stagnation and to secure the leading position of the Valruzian economy in Seleya. The government decided to leave taxes unchanged and left the individual VAT rates at 22% and 39%, corporate tax at 39%. The income tax was also left with a progressive range of tax brackets. That caused the governmental spending rose dramatically faster than governmental incomes. Analytics say that this will definitely force the National Bank of Valruzia to increase the interest rates by at least 0.2% in comparison with the previous year. The Sejm's Committee on Economics, Finance, and the State Budget gave the budget draft a green light on Sunday evening and at night deputies unilaterally voted in favor of the proposed budget. The Committee, however, issued a serious warning for the Ministry of Finance that the proposed budget requires the MF to enter what is called a Controlled Budgetary Deficit Mechanism which will force the MF to gradually liquidate the new deficit. But at the same time, the same Committee announced that the Government can freely increase the deficit up to VPO 750 billion without the need to run extraordinary measures to secure the budget. Currently the budgetary deficit is set at 14% of the GDP.

When asked about the controversy around the new budget and a massive deficit, the Government in Nowogard steadfastly defends its fiscal policy and confirms that the credit capability of the Valruzian economy can endure much more and that the taken measures will provide for uninterrupted economic growth of Valruzia. Nowogard praises that no cuts to any social programs were made and that the cuts to the budgets of social services were limited only to limiting the bureaucracy. At the same time, MF reminds that the yawning gap is the result of the massive investments in Defense, Transport & Infrastructure, Science & Technology, and Trade & Industry. The government once again has decided to massively invest in the defense sector and pumped up the spending on defense to the level of 345 billion pesos (roughly LOD 52.5 billion) which once again places the Valruzian defense sector at the first place in Terra in terms of spending. Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced that with the additional funds it will be able to initiate the works on Via Seleya 2, Valruzian super-highway project, and finally put its focus on the development of long-distance magnetic levitation infrastructure for trains to connect the Valruzian capital with cities such as Brzansk and Tricity.

NOWOGARD - Reglair will deliver 150 planes to Canrille Air Lines - that is the main part of an agreement between Reglair and the Lourenne's flag carrier. The deal signed on Friday evening also includes an option to deliver 50 additional planes after the initial contract is complete. The deal was signed during Reglair's air show held in Brzansk during which Reglair presented its newest airlines - a refreshed version of Reglair i7 which now is the largest twin-engined aircraft in Terra. The information about the deal caused an 3.4 percent increase in the value of Reglair's stocks. According to the Valruzian Economist the total value of the contract is LOD 10 billion. Reglair will deliver 100 short and medium-range planes of the i3 family, 25 state-of-the-art long- and ultra-long-range i8's, and 25 of the newest i7X's which was presented during the air show. The additional protocol to the deal includes the possible delivery of 50 more i7X's after the initial deal is complete.

It seems like the Reglair will enter new year with a comfortable lead over its main competitor the ADG. It is worth reminding that last year Reglair delivered 1.200 aircraft to its customers, and total number of orders for the company's aircraft stands at 8.920 planes, while ADG delivered approximately 300 less planes than Reglair and is struggling with shrinking orders list for the planes from ADG 320 family. The price of Reglair's stock rose to LOD 112.50 when the information about the deal stormed the Nowogard Stock Exchange.

Lourenne and the whole of Dovani need new aircraft and pilots

According to the last prognosis of the Valruzian Economist, Dovani is the third largest airline market after Seleya and Artania. And according to the same prognosis, Lourenne in the next 10-15 years will become the largest market in the airline industry in Dovani, overtaking the current leader - Kazulia. The rapid expansion on the airlines' fleets and the replacement of their older planes with new ones creates a lot of new workplaces. The VE predicts that in the next 15 years the airline industry will need an additional 500 thousand pilots and over 600 thousand cabin crew members. Seleya is still considered to be Reglair's main market, followed by Artania where LOT's largest subsidiary Artania Airlines are headquartered, but Dovani is most likely to overtake Artania in the share of Reglair's delivered aircraft. Today airlines in Dovani use over 1.5 thousand planes made by Reglair; over 1.2 thousand planes of the i3 family and 300 i8s.

LOT INVESTS 40 BILLION IN ITS FORGOTTEN AIR AURORE AND ANNOUNCES LARGEST EVER ROUTE EXPANSION - 70 NEW DESITINATIONS

ERONCOURT - Air Aurore - LOT Group's only subsidiary located in continental Dovani announced on Sunday a massive route expansion throughout the Dovani, Seleya, and Majatra. In total, the airline will be adding 67 new cities and 134 new routes as part of the expansion. LOT Group's acting CEO Roma Kaliczak announced that the airline in total will invest LOD 40 billion to finalize the restructuration of the company and refresh and expand its fleet. The Valruzian Economist points out that by no accident the largest airline Group unveils plans to expand Air Aurore - just a couple of months ago Air Aurore's main rival Lourenne's flag carrier - Canrille Air Lines - announced its greatest expansion followed by deals signed with Reglair and ADG for a total of 350 new planes and option for 100 more. It is clear that LOT Group wants to compete with CAL more effectively and signed a preliminary deal with Reglair to deliver 130 new planes for Air Aurore. More to that - airline's chief operations officer Emanuel Merlot announced that the airline's profile will also change - from an exclusively international airline, now it wants to enter the market of domestic flights.

The new airports being added to Air Aurore's network are located in Dovani, Seleya, and Majatra. The airline's network will be expanded with 67 new cities, the list includes almost all capital cities in Seleya and Western Dovani. Air Aurore will also be flying to most capital cities in northern Majatra and Istalia. By adding those airports in Seleya, Artania and Majatra Air Aurore’s focus is on transcontinental connections is maintained. The airline will be trying to take advantage over CAL by offering passengers a low-cost option between new cities in their offer and existing cities such as Nowogard, Sangon, Aldegaria, Brzansk or Johnston, among others now including Brzansk and Hel. The airline intends to focus on point-to-point network and refrain from establishing a single greater hub or hubs. Outside of Valois, the airline is growing its point-to-point network focusing on growing service from existing cities such as Eroncourt, Sklam (Kazulia) or Nowogard (Valruzia).

LOT Group announced that a total of LOD 40 billion will be invested into the airline to carry out the restructuration. Acting CEO of the LOT Group announced that the Air Aurore's aging fleet of 25 Reglair i4 will be expanded by 170 planes - mostly new versions of i4s, i7s and i8s. Experts from VP highlight the fact that the airline did not order a single narrow-body aircraft and that it announced that the airline will offer premium quality services in its planes at affordable prices. Air Aurore's COO said that as standard the airline will offer free carry-on baggage and two pieces of checked baggage. The COO also said that one of the airline's main asset will be premium quality in flight service and entertainment systems. Passengers will have access to free wi-fi during the entire time on board. COO of Air Aurore says that the quality of the meals will also be at the highest level, that will be the result of recent LOT Group's decision to take over Valruzian Air Gourmet (VAG) the largest company specializing in the preparation of in-flight meals in Valruzia. The VAG, which before the aquisition by LOT served the Group's main airline exclusively will now serve also the Artania Airlines and Air Aurore.

NOWOGARD - The Valruzian Sejm on Tuesday voted to give the military and the whole public defense sector V₱445,2 billion for 4552 onwards, approving the biggest defense budgets in modern Valruzian history, and actually nominally the largest defense budget in Terra - the budget was adopted unilaterally despite concerns from some economists and lawmakers about the rapidly rising budgetary deficit. The 4552-onwards military and defense budget, approved by 465-0 vote, gives Valruzia's armed forces and the defense industry a V₱100 billion increase from 4551. The representatives of National Forces of Defense has called the additional funding necessary to improve its ability to respond to international crises and maintain the leader's position of the NSO both in Seleya and in the World.

Budget experts said that the dramatic increase in military spending will put the government in a small limbo and that the government will have to make the additional funding productive to avoid entering th budget in a Controlled Budgetary Deficit Phase II which will force the government to liquidate 25% of the deficit within 6 months. Defense officials repeat that the NSO and the whole defense sector is in an urgent need of improving developing new defense systems to replace aging equipment.

Ministry of National Defense already announced numerous development programmes for all branches of the military. It is certain that procurements will be created for new defense systems for land forces, air force, and navy as well as special forces. An anonymous source of the VP confirmed that the MOND want to inject the forgotten Valruzian Nuclear Programme with at least V₱50 billion. Some say that the scale of the upcoming expansion will exceed the scales of the great "Orca" and "Eagle" programmes conducted in 4300s which heavily modernized and expanded the National Forces of Defense.

VALRUZIAN CIVIC MOTION TO CHANGE THE NATIONAL FLAG IN A REFERENUDM PASSED BY THE SEJM - PEOPLE WILL VOTE IN DECEMBER

NOWOGARD - The Sejm has just passed the civic motion to call a nationwide referendum in order to replace the iconic "Golden Half-Cross" flag of Valruzia introduced in 4244 when the current Republic has been established with more simplified "Valruzian Golden Cross" flag which unlike the original flag does not depict the "Eagle of Glory" on its right side. The motion which was signed by more than 990 thousand signatures was presented to the Sejm last week. Focus groups began collecting signatures in September last year. Sejm was legally obliged to debate on the motion as according to the Valruzian law every civic motion which is supported with more than 750 thousand signatures must be debated by the Sejm.

Sejm has unilaterally agreed to call the referendum with 465-0 vote. The Chancellery of the Prime Minister said that indeed there is a lot of factors behind the new flag and the majority of them are practical factors. According to the KPRM, the iconic "Golden Half-Cross" will still serve as one of the National Symbols of Valruzia and will still be hanged, for example on embassies and consulates or during national holidays together with the new flag. Government's spokesman Dariusz Płaszek confirmed that the "Eagle of Glory" remains one of the three most important symbols of Valruzia and that it will be respected and when asked about the possible changes to the National Coat of Arms, he said that its presence on the Coat of Armes is not endangered and that the government would oppose any trials aimed at changing the current status.

The referendum was set on December 5th 4552. People will vote from 7:00 am and the last votes will be cast at 9:00 pm. Citizens of Valruzia will be able to vote in 14 358 polling stations across Valruzia. Despite the fact that the character of the referendum is advisory and its results will not be binding to the Sejm nor the Government, both Sejm and the Government announced that the result of the Referendum will be respected and that the National Flag will be changed according to the results of the referendum. The estimated cost of the referendum was set at around 950 million pesos.

NOWOGARD - People of Valruzia have spoken. It is certain, the majority of the population supported the introduction of the new national flag depicting "Valruzian Golden Cross". More than 61% of those who voted in the referendum (28.5 million people) supported the new flag, while 38.2% (17.6 million people) voted against. The official results of the referendum were presented by the National Election Committee (Państwowa Komisja Wyborcza) on Monday morning. The turnout in the referendum reported by the PKW and State's Elections Bureau (Krajowe Biuro Wyborcze) exceeded both PKW's and KBW's expectations. According to the former, more than 61.7% of those with suffrage arrived at the polling stations and cast their votes in the nationwide referendum. The PKW estimated that no more than 50% of those with suffrage will vote. This means that the Sejm will now immediately get to work on changing the national flag of Valruzia, as promised by both the Government and the Sejm. However, both the Government and the President of Valruzia announced that the current "Valruzian Half-Cross" will remain one of the officially recognized national symbols of Valruzia as a flag of significant relevance for the Valruzian identity. The new flag will be hanged together with the current flags. Depending on the institution, the new flag will be hanged underneath the old flag or at the same height, until the old flags are worn out. The Ministry of Finance estimates that the total cost replacing all old flags with new ones, including those painted on means of transport, buildings, and other immobilities and mobilities, will reach as much as VPO 7 billion. The private companies which use the image of Valruzian flag (airlines, cruise lines etc.) will have two year transition period, after which all images of the Valruzian flag on their property will have to be replaced with the new "Valruzian Golden Cross".

NOWOGARD - The Sejm of the Republic of Valruzia has just agreed to implement harshed immigration policy and practically end an open door policy for all non-SU citizens. With the "Nationality and Immigration Act, November 4553" all non-SU citizens will have to apply for a new settled or pre-settled status which will define their immigrant status. Foreigners, outside of the SU will have to apply for different types of visa long before their arrival, as the bill will end the visa on entry policy in Valruzia. Applicants will have to apply in their assigned embassies or consulates within their country of origin. The new law might also limit the rights of immigrants with legal status currently living and working in Valruzia. Experts say that currently, the largest economic immigrant groups come from Gaduridos, Baltusia and Kalistan, and those are the groups which could suffer the most on the new laws as no of the aforementioned is a member state of the SU. An estimated group of 3.4 million people will have to apply for a new settled or pre-settled status which will greatly limit their rights in comparison to the current state. Those without the settled status will not be eligible to receive Valruzian social benefits or state-pension even with the appropriate job tenure and may face deportation.
