GDP is increasing and the Alliance fears a new defeat
Data from the Statistics Office confirm the forecasts by the Socialists to which the Alliance has difficulty opposing
Image

19 August 4593

ROMULA - The National Statistics Office released official data this morning on the performance of the Istalian economy in the last semester: GDP growth as well as tax revenues from companies and consumption and which year after year is breaking down the public deficit. Growth in production driven by consumption and therefore by domestic demand, which reflects an increase in incomes and greater confidence which, in fact, leads to greater consumption and greater investment. The poor and those below the poverty line also fall.

The data of the Statistics Office, if they have crowned the efforts of the Social Democrats during the last decade, have generated concern among the opposition ranks, the ANI, now unable to credibly attack the Government from an economic point of view.
On the other hand, Almirante had already abandoned the hyper-liberal positions of the previous leadership, as well as publicly defended several reforms by the Social Democrats.
But in the light of the positive economic trend today confirmed, Almirante's chances of attracting the votes of the Istalians again taper ever more, while adherence and respect of the S&D to the Imperial Constitution further undermined one of the prime causes of existence of the National Alliance for the Empire.

Further criticisms, moreover, came against Almirante from several of his opponents, even from within the party, who accused him of exploiting Michele I's departure for electoral purposes, constantly bringing him close to the Alliance. Even Damiano Valenti from Ulbia interviewed by journalists criticized such a behavior, mentioning the efforts by the party and the Court to separate the ANI from the figure of the first Emperor, especially during the years of harsh criticism of the Nationalist Party which accused him to remain a political figure.

Socialists still at the helm of the country as expected
Almirante even more populist while begins to challenge the Internationalist and libertarian stances by S&D

July 4594

ROMULA - As expected for months, the Socialists & Democrats have maintained the leadership of the national politics winning also the elections 4594 which saw virtually no changements in the balance of power. Not too much surprise within the National Alliance and indeed Almirante profited of the results to criticize many other ANI's exponents, forcing them to leave it, and consolidating his control over the party turning it even more against the socialist majority, immediatly profiting of the recent statement made by the Prime Minister.

Paolo Tarso, in fact, reconfirmed for the 5th time as Prime Minister, expressed his satisfaction for the results of the elections and for the work made in the last decade as well as he expressed a new internationalist stance. These his words:

I want once again thank the people of Istalia for having demonstrated once again their confidence to the Socialists & democrats. Once again I'm ready to present to the National Assembly a new Government and I'm pleased to go to our new Emperor to sworne as first Prime Minister of Alessandro I. Istalia is today a land of fairness, justice, solidarity and equal rights and opportunity for all the people and this government will assure you that it will continue to work for the people, to defend the reforms we made and that will be a great voice abroad for democracy and rights. I'm about to become once again prime minister with the heart very heavy for the fate of the millions in Kazulia who risk their lives for the madness of a fascist dictator. For this reason we will increase the efforts of Istalia to welcome refugees and to help abroad. On demand of the emperor we are ready to present a petition to avoid violence in Kazulia against opposants of the new regime. We are ready to welcome ahmadis as well as yeudis and political opposants and then we are ready to welcome the royal family which in Istalia can find a safe port alongside all the Kazulians who love freedom.

Prime Minister Paolo Tarso

A declarations which came after the one released before the elections with which the Prime Minister condemned the fascist uprising in Kazulia:

http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=59&p=149546#p149546
The government of the Istalian Empire expresses all its concerns and regret in witnessing theb recent "revolution" happened in Kazulia, indeed a military coup led by fascist forces under the leadership of a dictator. Having ratified the Nation United Against Fascism Treaty the Istalian Empire severs all the relations with Kazulia and its newly installed fascist regime. Istalia invites all the nations against fascism to cut all their relations with Kazulia and impose a coordinated global embargo against the fascist authorities.

Prime Minister Paolo Tarso

Despite the National Alliance and its leader joined the Prime Minister in condemning the newly established fascist regime of Kazulia, as well as the invite to welcome the deposed royal family, Almirante didn't share the same positions of the Head of Government on migrations and international committment, heavily criticizing the new international openess by Tarso:

We must be cautional and we cannot turn our attention abroad forgetting our People and our Nation. The Government is already working to undermine the security, safeness and the stability of our citizens with one of its last proposals which will introduce reforms simply unaceptable.
Since the end of the anti-thallerist war our nation prospered also because we carefully controlled and regularized our policy on migrations and also because we didn't launch ourself in international enterprises which proved under the fourth republic to bring more problems than good.
Am I talking about isolationism? Of course not, but we must continue to interact internationally through bilateral agreements about which we can be sure they'll work for the benefits of our citizens first of all. In fact, for centuries Istalia wasted so much resources putting itself at the helm of large international initiatives and organizations and the benefits for us never justified all such efforts. Istalia recently, instead, returned to think to the Istalians and finally it returned to prosper.
Now, the Government is once again turning its attention to crusades which are not our own and to people who simply are not welcomed and who can undermine the economic opportunities of our citizens, the stability of our society, the values of our culture.
And now I know that our mission will be to protect and enhance our culture, the Istalian culture and for this reason probably the time is come to contrast so many foreign influences which for too many time undermined our identity.
We must work first for Istalians!

The journalists then asked to Almirante to comment the newly founded Republican Movement to whom he responded mentioning what he said in the National Assembly when the Republicans began to demand a return to the Republic, listing all the benefits of a Monarchy:

We fully share the words by colleague Altissimi (S&D) adding that democracy is protected from personal interests and from populistic races to the power of subject interested only in power.

My party was the first one to recognize this, even if it was this party that supported the beloved Michele I when he was our political leader and who as political leader, despite his wise government, actually undermined the need of alternance and changement of a healthy democracy.

Furthermore, as said many times, the Emperor today assures a super partes figure to vigil on our system, free from political and economic interests, free from the concerns about a re-election and only devoted to his duties.

The National Assembly, finally, as mentioned by colleague Altissimi, assures today a better control on the executive power.

Criticism arose against Tarso for references about Emperor's support: the Palace explains
Emperor Alessandro seen close to leftist positions but the Palace denies

18 January 4595

ROMULA - Critics are increasing about the rumors on the supposed closeness of the Emperor to leftist positions and thus close to the Socialists & Democrats party, at the date leading the country for a decade.

The press message released by Paolo Tarso once again appointed as Prime Minister, in fact, made reference to the support granted by the Emperor about the international initiatives by the Head of Government.
For this reason recently the Palace released a press message by His Majesty in which the Emperor himself denies any support and indeed explaining what happened with Paolo Tarso:

People of Istalia,
it is my duty to express my consternation today in having somehow shaken the trust of the Nation towards me and my solemn office, and it is my duty to explain also how a misurestanding may have generated such concerns.
Having met Prime Minister Tarso, he wanted to express his deepest concern about the fate of the citizens of Kazulia and his desire to help them. Humanly, I could only share this desire, as Istalia has always shown great compassion and pity, and then, I have just stressed that our country is bound to respect international treaties that the representatives of the nation have ratified which provides forms of support for persecuted people.
But it is with the strongest assurance that I deny any support, neither personal nor institutional, for Mr. Tarso or his party and I have in no way expressed my assent for legislative measures that the Assembly is voting on.

Thank you

This doesn't totally suppress the criticism and someone is starting to deeply investigate on the Emperor and the relations between the Palace and the politics.
From ANI's Leader, however, no words against the Emperor and indeed Almirante said that the Emperor has the right to express his though in respecting the law and his duty and that the fault is only of Paolo Tarso, which mentioned the emperor for his political goals without care if such a behavior would have put His Majesty in difficoult situations and exposing him to critcism.

PAOLO TARSO REVEALS PLANS FOR A GREEN DEAL

Prime minister Paolo Tarso called a press conference to announce his plans for a veritable green deal for Istalia:

My fellow citizens, I'm announcing today the plans for a green deal a new large programr of investments and projects aimed to turn Istalia tongreen energy as well as in an ecologically sustainable nation. What has been done by my previous governments in this area has already represented a great step forward in the field of regulations but it is time to put large investments into the industrial sector and start large projects which, I am sure, will make Italy the nation to less environmental impact and an example to follow. The investments will concern the creation of large wind farms in the Ingrisiano Channel together with turbine fields that will exploit marine currents; photovoltaic fields will be built in Alaria and then geothermal power stations in Mezzodiurno and Padagna to exploit the geothermal activity of the two regions. We will also work to ensure the sustainability of our agriculture by guaranteeing subsidies for crops that will be judged strategic on the basis of ecological and biological factors to promote and preserve native and local crops, protect the genetic variety of our cultures and seeds. To do so, however, we will have to have the courage to say no to genetically modified products, which first of all risk making other cultivars and seed quality disappear. Therefore, we will invest in subsidies and tax breaks to help industries and agriculture to adopt measures to reduce harmful emissions and implement low-impact technological solutions. The state will endeavor to intervene on all public administration buildings to reduce their impact and ensure their self-sustainability: among the first projects is the creation of a large photovoltaic park on the roof of the National Assembly building. We will drive the country towards a more sustainable future and guarantee the development of an industrial sector that will create many new jobs. For a greener, healthier and more prosperous future for all!

Prince Nicola spotted with Josephine of Hulstria
Rumors ever more confirmed: is the Palace about to officially confirm?
Image

12 June 4595

ROMULA - The rumors actually was lasting for three years but now it seems that the Palace is about to release an official statement on the heir presuntive to the Throne, Grand Prince Nicola, firstborn of His Majesty Alessandro, and his liaison with the Princess Josephine of Hulstria, daughters of the Emperor Father and Empress Mother Hans Friedrick Albert lll and Annemarie I and sister of the current reigning Empress Sophie l.

Prince Nicola, in fact, in the last six months has been spotted almost twenty times together Princess Josephine in occasion of several mundane and social events and an official one too, the baptism of Michela, daughter of the cousin of the Emperor, Grand Princess Ginevra (youngest daughter of Michele I).

Image

Rumors about such relarionship started already several years ago, when Princess Josephine was welcomed in the Imperial Family for two summers spent in Istalia and then recently the Princess returned in Istalia after having attended the Royal Accademy in Hulstria.
Actually no excessive confidentiality and security measures were adopted and thus this leads to think that the relationship is no more just a rumors and that soon the Imperial Palace, as said, will release an official statement formalizing it.

The friendship between the current Sovereign of Istalia and Hulstria Gao Soto and their family is something of well known, but a possible marriage between the two Imperial pupils would represent a great improvement of the prestige of the Istalian Imperial Family, which would be linked with the House of Rothingren-Traugott, one of the most noble and respected Dynasty which during several millenia reigned on many powerful nations and Empires like Hulstria, Luthori, Trigunia, Alduria, Deltaria, Mordusia, Lodamun, Barmenia and Vorona.

Almirante attacks the Socialists: "We are going to the Soviet Empire of Istalia!"
The ANI's Leader accuses Paolo Tarso to have disguised a veritable socialization of economy under his Plan "Green Deal"

16 January 4596

ROMULA - The Secretary of the National Alliance of the Empire, Gianni Almirante, met today the journalists at the party headquarter in Viale delle Vittorie harshly attacking the measures being approved by the majority of the National Assembly, those measures part of the Green Deal triumphantly announced by Prime Minister Paolo Tarso.

Gianni Almirante has harshly criticized the great ecological conversion plan announced by the Head of Government declaring, in words, that "this Green Deal is actually a conspiracy, a mirror for larks: Paolo Tarso and the Socialists have disguised a real socialization of the economy under the guise of the Green Deal!".
Protests are coming anyway from all over the economic world and above all from the banking sector which will soon see the major institutions nationalized and placed under the control of the Government, which will soon be able to intervene directly in the management of the Central Bank too. State companies will also be created, or will be nationalized by existing as the opposition fears, to support the government's effort for the Prime Minister's great project.

Almirante therefore continued to attack the Green Deal also from an ideological point of view, saying:

We are becoming the Soviet Empire of Istalia, but not only: the Tarso's green utopia itself is watering on all sides and is simply impractical! Right now the new national electricity company has already planned the construction of three gas-fired power plants to replace the Corvonero Nuclear Power Plant, which has reached the length of service. This was "tactically" omitted by the Prime Minister Tarso announcing his plan made of renewable energy that today, alone, will not be able to cope with the shutdown in the coming years of other nuclear power plants. Nuclear power has been widely exploited in Istalia, with only relatively brief interruptions in their implementation, and given that today the construction of further power plants is prohibited, when we begin to shut down our plants, renewables will not make it and we will build new gas-fired power plants alongside renewables. Does it not seem a contradiction to you? By continuing to use nuclear power instead, and by integrating more and more renewables, then we will succeed in reducing harmful emissions into the environment. We have already presented to the Assembly the Energy Plan proposed by the National Alliance, recalling how in the past Istalia was a beacon of nuclear technology. But on the other hand, we have well understood how: first, the plan is above all ideological; two, they painted green a red monster ready to completely gobble up the nation!

PRIME MINISTER PAOLO TARSO RESPONDS TO ACCUSATIONS BY PART OF ALMIRANTE

The Head of Government spoke to the National Assembly defending his Green Deal and to respond to the accusations by the leader of the National Alliance, the Mr Gianni Almirante.

My dear colleagues of the National Assembly, the words expressed by Mr Almirante are simply ridicolous. There is no socialization of economy. Allowing the state to run some industry doesn't mean that we are making a soviet nation. The people of istalia elections after elections continued to grant to S&D their confidence and what we are doing is just the natural evolution of our work and what people demanded us. We are respecting the demands by thenpeople, for the people. About the Green Dealt the allegations by Mr Almirante are unfounded because what Almirante omitted, instead, is the fact that nuclear energy produces the most dangerous waste which will menaces our nation for generations. And if today we are obliged to use alternative source to face the nuclear dismissal, it is fault of the thought of the past who built so many nuclear power plant without thinking to the future and ignoring renowable energies. We are already sufferingthe paradigma of the past. We are suffering the lack of coordinated efforts and regulations in the energy sector and the hunger for profits of multinationals and companies. Reckless capitalism reduced us to the current situation, it is not to blame the Socialists today. For this reason people chosen us and thisngovernmrnt will continue on itspath. This is mypromise to all Istalians.
Prime minister Paolo Tarso

Despite the accusations and the criticism the government already allocated huge resources for the Green Deal for public investments for industry and the ecological conversion. Also the first works on public buildings that and estates to reduce their impact already started. On the roof of the Palace of National Assembly the first photovoltaic panels are being installed while the Prime Minister visited the roof of the residence of the Prime Minister with technicians to do the same. Prime Minister Tarso assured that a new enormous and profitable industrial sector will emerge, with million of new job and making istalia a leading nation about ecological impact and green technologies. To mark such ambitions, Paolo Tarso announced the plan for a one kilometer skyscraper totally self-sustainable, an example of minimum ecological impact building. It will host a museum of the Green Revolution, a cultural center, office spaces and even hanging gardens and hanging greenhouses.

Imperial Prince Adriano died
Son of Michele I's youngest brother and cousin of Emperor Alessandro, he is died today during one of his adventures abroad
Image
Photo of Prince Adriano during a rally raid on the Quetzalxochitl-Huitztonqui Desert

12 July 4596

The Imperial Palace released this moorning a message informing the nation of the tragic death of Imperial Prince Adriano due to a fall of over than 60 meters from a cliff on the Mount Mother Superior, well known active super vulcano on the island of Ananto.
Imperial Prince Adriano was climbing the Kalistani peak as part of a pan-majatran mission formed by Solentian, Instalian and Kalopian professional climbers. According to the witnesses a small but fatal seismic shock has fractured the rock on which was placed an anchorage of Prince Adriano's safety rope. The Prince seems to have lost his balance by resting his foot on an unstable rock that has collapsed under him. The fall was not held back by anchoring and was instantly fatal.

Image Image

Prince Adriano, a bachelor and without children, was the twin brother of Imperial Prince Giulio, cousins of Emperor Alessandro as sons of Imperial Prince Tommaso, younger brother of Emperor Michele. Uninterested in the imperial vicissitudes of the family, he dedicated his whole life to extreme sports and adventures, competing in dangerous speedboat races, parteciping to a circumnavigation of the globe on a sailboat, exploring the deep equatorial forests of Aldegar and Saridan from sea to sea, traveling the world and embracing a very free lifestyle. Sometimes getting into trouble in adventures on which the Imperial Family has always discreetly glided.

Image Image

The mortal rest of Prince Adriano will return in Istalia next week and following the desires of Imperial Princess Laura, his mother, it is provided that a private cerimony would be held in the family chapel of Appiano Palace in Romula, the old family palace owned for centuries by Appiano family, and that the Prince will rest in the private family funerary chapel in the Monumental Cemetery of Romula.
