Socialists still at the helm of the country as expectedAlmirante even more populist while begins to challenge the Internationalist and libertarian stances by S&DJuly 4594ROMULA - As expected for months, the Socialists & Democrats have maintained the leadership of the national politics winning also the elections 4594 which saw virtually no changements in the balance of power. Not too much surprise within the National Alliance and indeed Almirante profited of the results to criticize many other ANI's exponents, forcing them to leave it, and consolidating his control over the party turning it even more against the socialist majority, immediatly profiting of the recent statement made by the Prime Minister.
Paolo Tarso, in fact, reconfirmed for the 5th time as Prime Minister, expressed his satisfaction for the results of the elections and for the work made in the last decade as well as he expressed a new internationalist stance. These his words:
I want once again thank the people of Istalia for having demonstrated once again their confidence to the Socialists & democrats. Once again I'm ready to present to the National Assembly a new Government and I'm pleased to go to our new Emperor to sworne as first Prime Minister of Alessandro I. Istalia is today a land of fairness, justice, solidarity and equal rights and opportunity for all the people and this government will assure you that it will continue to work for the people, to defend the reforms we made and that will be a great voice abroad for democracy and rights. I'm about to become once again prime minister with the heart very heavy for the fate of the millions in Kazulia who risk their lives for the madness of a fascist dictator. For this reason we will increase the efforts of Istalia to welcome refugees and to help abroad. On demand of the emperor we are ready to present a petition to avoid violence in Kazulia against opposants of the new regime. We are ready to welcome ahmadis as well as yeudis and political opposants and then we are ready to welcome the royal family which in Istalia can find a safe port alongside all the Kazulians who love freedom.
Prime Minister Paolo Tarso
A declarations which came after the
one released before the elections with which the Prime Minister condemned the fascist uprising in Kazulia:
http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=59&p=149546#p149546The government of the Istalian Empire expresses all its concerns and regret in witnessing theb recent "revolution" happened in Kazulia, indeed a military coup led by fascist forces under the leadership of a dictator. Having ratified the
Nation United Against Fascism Treaty the Istalian Empire severs all the relations with Kazulia and its newly installed fascist regime. Istalia invites all the nations against fascism to cut all their relations with Kazulia and impose a coordinated global embargo against the fascist authorities.
Prime Minister Paolo Tarso
Despite the National Alliance and its leader joined the Prime Minister in condemning the newly established fascist regime of Kazulia, as well as the invite to welcome the deposed royal family, Almirante didn't share the same positions of the Head of Government on migrations and international committment, heavily criticizing the new international openess by Tarso:
We must be cautional and we cannot turn our attention abroad forgetting our People and our Nation. The Government is already working to undermine the security, safeness and the stability of our citizens with
one of its last proposals which will introduce reforms simply unaceptable.
Since the end of the anti-thallerist war our nation prospered also because we carefully controlled and regularized our policy on migrations and also because we didn't launch ourself in international enterprises which proved under the fourth republic to bring more problems than good.
Am I talking about isolationism? Of course not, but we must continue to interact internationally through bilateral agreements about which we can be sure they'll work for the benefits of our citizens first of all. In fact, for centuries Istalia wasted so much resources putting itself at the helm of large international initiatives and organizations and the benefits for us never justified all such efforts. Istalia recently, instead, returned to think to the Istalians and finally it returned to prosper.
Now, the Government is once again turning its attention to crusades which are not our own and to people who simply are not welcomed and who can undermine the economic opportunities of our citizens, the stability of our society, the values of our culture.
And now I know that our mission will be to protect and enhance our culture, the Istalian culture and for this reason probably the time is come to contrast so many foreign influences which for too many time undermined our identity.
We must work first for Istalians!
The journalists then asked to Almirante to comment the newly founded
Republican Movement to whom he responded mentioning
what he said in the National Assembly when the Republicans began to demand a return to the Republic, listing all the benefits of a Monarchy:
We fully share the words by colleague Altissimi (S&D) adding that democracy is protected from personal interests and from populistic races to the power of subject interested only in power.
My party was the first one to recognize this, even if it was this party that supported the beloved Michele I when he was our political leader and who as political leader, despite his wise government, actually undermined the need of alternance and changement of a healthy democracy.
Furthermore, as said many times, the Emperor today assures a super partes figure to vigil on our system, free from political and economic interests, free from the concerns about a re-election and only devoted to his duties.
The National Assembly, finally, as mentioned by colleague Altissimi, assures today a better control on the executive power.
