The young Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor reforms its education system

ARLOUX - The times are changing. The monarchy has left the place in peace to the Republic. But the first changes in political orientation are being felt. And the impetus did not come from the National Convention since it was the leaders of the Rassemblement Républicain de Rildanor (RRR) who were at the origin of the first major republican reform. The latter transmitted to the Conventionists a proposal for an education reform that the elected representatives entirely from the NPP are about to validate.

This reform aims in particular to decentralize higher education to local governments, to make private education authorized and leads the State to disengage massively in the financing of education for students, except those from poor families.

Supported by Charles Châteaugay, the Minister of Education and Culture, who thinks it is time to "strengthen the education system" and that this reform will participate in improving the educational level of Rildanorians, the proposal of the RRR seems to be unanimous among the political class. However, it remains to be seen whether the Rildanorians will also welcome this legislative change, which will undoubtedly increase household spending.

President Vermaelen at the National Convention: "Our Republic is progressing more and more every day."

President Vermaelen in his speech today at the National Convention

ARLOUX – Today President Vermaelen gave a speech on Progress in the Republic as part of the National Address live from the National Convention.

President Vermaelen thanked the RRR for taking the path of the Republic, declaring that there was a faction in the NPP of social democrats and social liberals who were defenders of the Republican project, among them him and Vice President Pépiteaux, who were the main promoters of the Republican project, however he mentioned that those who were monarchists prevented this project from being carried out. The following was taken from Vermaelen's statements to the National Convention:
Since 4823 there have been social democrats and social liberals who advocate the Republican project, including myself and Vice President Pépiteaux. We were the main promoters of the Republican project in the NPP and there was an emergence of social democrats and social liberals who joined the cause. However, the monarchists prevented this project from happening.

But since the arrival of the RRR and its proposal of a republic had more resonance among those of us who supported the project of a republic, when those who defended the monarchy found out that Mickaël Lafayette was going to abdicate, they were shocked and begged for him to stay, but nevertheless those of us who supported the project saw an opportunity to carry out a republic, which was Didier Trudeau's project, from the foundation of the NPP until his death in 4770. We are very grateful to the RRR, they helped us write the new Constitution with their ideas, the NPP is very grateful for this, and you can say that the Rildanorians are too.

In another part of the speech, Vermaelen talked about immigration from Lourenne and Kanjor, Rildanor's neighboring country. In addition to talking about the coup d'état in Lourenne in 4788, of which 58 years have been commemorated, Vermaelen considered this coup to be useless.
Ironically, Kanjor was the place where the Rildanorian monarchists went to live after the National Constitutional Convention was elected, but there is a power vacuum and the Kanjorians immigrated to our country to have more opportunities and progress, the same with the Lourenians, They came here because of a power vacuum to progress and have opportunities, but we must not forget the coup d'état that happened in Lourenne in 4788, I welcome the Kanjorians and Lourenians who are looking for a better place, the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor welcomes them with open arms!

It also marks the 58th anniversary of the Lourenne Coup d'état, but I ask you, what was gained by that? The Lourenians asked for change, they asked for democracy, they wanted a democratic republic, and what they won? A massacre and a dictator. It was very useless, instead of pressuring the royalty to abdicate to a democratic republican system, they were left with Christophe Capélot, an authoritarian, but it seems to me that Capélot was a bloody dictator who wanted to conquer other countries. I find it very pathetic that after the Orléans-Vasser have been executed, which was extremely far from being the right option, this man comes to establish a dictatorship. Let it be clear, my fellow Convention members, that democracy is achieved through dialogue, not through military interventions and coups d'état. If the authoritarian does not resign because of the call of the people, the people must put more pressure on him until he gives in. In conclusion, we must maintain the democratic system and not let the dictators and authoritarians take it away. We, the democrats, are more than the authoritarians. With this I conclude this speech, I thank this National Convention for listening to me, let us follow the path of democracy, let us continue to progress.

Vermaelen's speech was well received by the members of the National Convention and the general population of Rildanor. This was Vermaelen's first National Address, he would have three more for the next few years and another four if he were to be re-elected.

Turbulence at the RRR

ARLOUX - While the RRR has only been in existence for five years, the party is already subject to internal tensions. These are coming to light and the trigger for this display is President Nicolas Vermaelen's speech to the National Convention. This intervention, which delighted the left wing of the RRR, on the contrary pushed the conservatives of the young party to hear their annoyance.

Thus, the conservatives, Henri Desnoyer in the lead, are surprised that his party does not manifest a stronger political line that could oppose the ideologies of the NPP. Desnoyer would like, for example, a more proactive military policy.

For his part, the President of the RRR, Lukas Matic, visiting a school in Tiralouse to promote the education reform, is offended by Desnoyer's comments:

The NPP is a reliable and solid political partner. Most of their elected representatives were with us when we proclaimed the need for the reestablishment of the Republic. They supported our desire to give new impetus to the education of Rildanorians. . It would be absurd to oppose in order to oppose. I disapprove of this attitude (...) President Vermaelen's speech was intended to unite and I welcome it. We Republicans must be up to the task and not ridicule in internal quarrels.

The fact remains that these different reactions show that the RRR is agitated by different currents and that its important members will have to be able to come together on common subjects and unite. The pressure is building around Lukas Matic who is supposed to embody this union.

The ambulance that transferred Pépiteaux to Arloux Central Hospital, outside the Manoir de l'Indépendance, official residence of the Vice President of Rildanor

ARLOUX – Today the Vice President of the Republic, Pierre Pépiteaux, was transferred to the Central Hospital of Arloux after having suffered a decompensation after a press conference at the Manoir de l'Indépendance.

According to sources at the Manoir de l'Indépendance, the Vice President was concluding the press conference, when he suddenly collapsed, causing a stir among the press attending the event. Manoir de l'Indépendance staff called an ambulance to transport the Vice President to Arloux Central Hospital so he could be diagnosed with decompensation. Noëlle Deschamps, Chief of Staff of the Manoir de l'Indépendance, spoke with VR for a short interview regarding the event.
It was very worrying, as soon as the Vice President left the podium he started to lose his balance and then he passed out, everyone in the room was worried, we had to clarify to the press that the Vice President will be fine, we called an ambulance that transferred him to the ACH, and so far we haven't heard anything, Mrs. Chapman has been looking after her husband, but she still doesn't know anything about the diagnosis, but she says he has been slowly recovering.

This also caused a stir in the government of Nicolas Vermaelen, who are hoping over the early recovery of Pépiteaux.

Elections in the crosshairs

ARLOUX - As the second general elections of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor approach, the Rildanorian political parties seem to be organizing for this deadline.

In a few months, in January 4849, the legislative and presidential elections will take place in a political context of increased cooperation. The NPP and the RRR are practically on the same wavelength and have not encountered any difficulties in agreeing on the reform of education and the restoration of national service. This context does not necessarily allow one of the two parties to stand out clearly. Thus, the NPP, strongly rooted in the population, should have no difficulty in triumphing very widely. Nicolas Vermaelen could therefore be re-elected to the Presidency.

But Rildanorian political life is not a long quiet river. The NPP was devastated by the health accident of the Vice-President, Pierre Pépiteau in the middle of a press conference. The concern surrounding his state of health remains unresolved.

For its part, the RRR is entangled in internal tensions. Lukas Matic had to cede to Henri Desnoyer concerning the proposal for the restoration of national service to be able to secure the support of the conservatives for his candidacy for the presidential election. In addition, the RRR hopes to make a breakthrough in Tiralouse in the legislative elections and be able to send elected representatives to the National Conventions.

After several months of internship and therapy, Pierre Pépiteaux is discharged
________________________________________________________________________________________________________

ARLOUX – After several months of hospitalization, Vice President Pépiteaux was discharged after spending several months at Arloux Central Hospital. The doctors at ACH wanted to call what Pépiteaux had suffered confidential.

However, Kier Castex Mas, a former political analyst for Vague Rildanorienne and a presidential pre-candidate in the NPP primary, said that Pépiteaux may have suffered from a debilitating illness that had him hospitalized at ACH between April and May last year, recovering in mid-May and having to go through intensive therapy from June to December last year. With his recovery, Pépiteaux could once again be Vermaelen's running mate, who will seek re-election this month.

The NPP primaries were held between October and November of last year, with the final round held on November 16 of last year. Among the participants in the 2nd round of the primary were President Nicolas Vermaelen and François Xing, National Conventionist. Vermaelen won with more than 56.5% of the votes counted in the primary and is running for reelection. In the first round of the NPP's primary elections, important figures of the party participated, such as the National Conventionist Elio Chapman, who is the brother-in-law of Vice President Pépiteaux, Kier Castex Mas, Alix Favre, Noël Verhoeven and Alix Delsarte. However, President Vermaelen and François Xing were the ones who passed to the second round of the primary. After conceding victory in the primary, Xing endorsed Vermaelen in his re-election and announced that he would run again in the next primary, as did Chapman who declared that he would run in the next primary after endorsing Vermaelen in his re-election.

Triumph of the NPP and President Vermaelen who defeat the RRR

ARLOUX - The second general elections of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor resulted in a final victory for the New Popular Party which won all the seats in the National Convention. For this 1005th legislative election in the history of Rildanor, the RRR failed to make a breakthrough in the electorate. This considerably weakened the support of moderate party members in favor of the Conservatives. The latter obtained the resignation of the presidency of Lukas Matic's party. An RRR congress should give this political movement a new leader and a new political line which should be much more focused on security, protection and liberalism. Thus, Matic's desire to propose an ecological bill to the NPP falls into oblivion.

If the NPP largely triumphs in all the states of Rildanor, it should nevertheless be noted that the NPP has lost more than 10 million votes. From this point of view, it is the worst result of the NPP for 8 years (in February 4841, the NPP had obtained a little more than 11 million votes).

Finally, President Nicolas Vermaelent is re-elected without surprise and can hope to be able to conduct the policy he wishes to pursue without difficulty.

Zacharie Pichon takes control of the RRR

TALORIE - It is a considerable upheaval which occurred during the Congress of the RRR of June 18 and 19, 4849 in Talorie in the State of Morbanaque. If the progressives appeared disunited and defeated after the last election results, the conservatives were very active and determined. This minority fringe in the RRR had little chance of taking control of the party. But the surprise came from the liberals who supported the conservatives in the second round of the election of the president of the RRR.

Indeed, during the first round of this internal ballot, the two progressives Simon Gonzales and Karine Brouart obtained respectively 30.45% and 11.58%, while the conservative Zacharie Pichon gathered 31.52% and the liberal Jean Vallon obtained 26.45%. If unsurprisingly, Karine Brouart sided with Simon Gonzales, the favorite candidate of Lukas Matic, this is not the case with Jean Vallon who turned to Zacharie Pichon. This ultra conservative therefore had no trouble winning the second round with 53.21% of the vote.

The arrival of Pichon at the head of the party worries many. Pichon is described as a stubborn person, who wishes to develop the subject of security, immigration, national defense and the defense of entrepreneurs. He thus showed little interest in the incidents surrounding the company QUF.inc which recently polluted a river in Morbanaque. Ecology is not its priority, on the contrary. The RRR is at a turning point in its history and the good relations maintained so far with the NPP could be strained.

President Vermaelen inducts François Xing in nomination contest

ARLOUX - As his second term comes to an end in a few months, the President of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor has agreed to share some of his impressions with us in an exclusive interview. Whoever will not be able to be a candidate for his own succession has agreed to discuss his record at the head of the country, his projects and his succession ...

The next general election will bring a new president to power. Now is the time for Nicolas Vermaelen to speak of his work in the highest office of the state. And on this point, it is clear: "I think we have done a good job in governing our country". But the president goes on to pay homage to the RRR, which has not yet convinced voters since its creation: "I say to you that the first Vermaelen cabinet was the reform cabinet, and these reforms would not have been possible with the support and proposals of the RRR (…) Of course none of this would have been possible without the RRR, without them our Republic would not exist, the RRR has been a great ally with respect to reforms and has been crucial in the construction of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor, I at least think that the RRR has been one of the best allies with respect to many things and we have to thank them for this ”. These remarks respond to the concerns of a significant part of the members of the RRR, worried by the changes in the leadership of their party and the consequences it could have on relations with the NPP. But Nicolas Vermaelen warns: "Now we hope that the next government will continue with the ideology of progress and the search for a greater good for all". Conservatives and Liberals have been warned.

"I will start to be part of the Didier Trudeau Foundation as its national director"

President Vermaelen then indicates to us the priorities which animated his two mandates: "In the current government we had to face the situation of Luthori and expand our international diplomatic network, of course we continue working for Rildanor, we support the proposal of state representation and others that seek progress nationally, and we want Rildanor to go forward ”. These are indeed international events in general and at Luthori in particular which have mobilized the executive power. But the rapprochement with Kundrati was one of the strong topical subjects of the second term and Vermaelen explains this choice of merger: “I can say that our approach to Kundrati, is because it is always good to have allied and friendly nations, internationalism was always part of Rildanor even in the time of Charpentier, and this must be maintained ”.

This is the opportunity for the Head of State to discuss his future and respond to the rumors that send him to the heart of the Council created by the treaty ratified by the two countries: "I don't think I will be part of the Kundrati-Rildanor Binational Council less to preside it, I say this because after I leave the presidency I will start to be part of the Didier Trudeau Foundation as its national director, now I heard that both Nicholas Raymond and Noëlle Gérin could be part of the Council, although I am not sure which one will go to the Council, but whoever goes I am sure that they will preside it ”. It is therefore a Rildanorian who should chair the next Kundrati / Rildanor Binational Council.

“I believe that we will also have to create companies or state institutes that will be in charge of (…) public transportation and the national health system”

If Nicolas Vermaelen cannot be a candidate for the presidency, he had a good idea of what should be done over the next few years to continue the development of Rildanor: "I would say that the one or two institutions that could be reformed to adapt to our Republic, I believe that we will have to reform the National Tax Service or create a new one for our Republican system. I believe that we will also have to create companies or state institutes that will be in charge of different institutions such as public transportation and the national health system. These already existed as Government Delegations between 4740 and 4820, but they were dissolved, what I mean is that these companies or institutes could exist and be part of their respective ministries ”.

Finally, concerning the 10 million votes lost by the NPP during the last general election, the President kicks in, explaining it by an increase in abstention: "I always say that you have to be prepared for any event, the loss of votes is normal in instances of abstention, which is what happened last election, although there was a satisfactory turnout, there was a decrease in the turnout of 13.72% according to data from the National Election Center, although it is believed that it is a low number in itself, for Rildanor is the highest abstention of voters since 4841 ”. Vermaelen does not appear to relate government policy to this increase in abstention and believes that the next election will see an increase in turnout. From this perspective, when it is necessary to designate the most competent person of the NPP to succeed him, the president does not hesitate: "François Xing is the one, he is one of the pre-candidates in the NPP primary and he has a good trajectory as a National Conventionist. Xing will continue our platform for progress ”. However, the president does not hesitate to evoke the subjects which anger and pinpoints his party as such: "Now that I mention the primary elections, I hope that they are not a disaster like the previous one, in the first round there was a good turnout and in the second round, states like Montpellier only amassed 189,227 votes which was very disappointing knowing that in the first round in that same state there were 4,593,239 votes, it was the lack of convocation that led to the very low results in the second round in Montpellier ”.

At the end of this interview, we can say that Nicolas Vermaelen seems satisfied with the work accomplished and has already prepared his release with a light heart and without bitterness. It is certain that he was the guarantor of the unity of the Republic and that his successor, in addition to having to meet the many challenges of economic and social development, should be the symbol of the continuity of this unity.
