Reaffirming our commitment to the principles outlined in the Declaration of Natural Human Rights,
Recognizing that among these principles are that rights are to to be applied in a politicized way leading to double standards,
Recognizing also that among the natural rights are the right to a democratic and humane government and the right to freedom of speech and expression,
Whereas the Dolgavan government's restriction of the rights of its leftist citizens to organize political parties denies the Dolgavan people a truly democratic government and infringes upon their freedom of speech and expression and their suppression of such opposition movements with police and military force denies the Dolgavan people humane treatment,
Whereas the politicized nature of the Dolgavan government's oppressive measures creates a double standard between the allowance of rightist and leftist parties in Dolgava,
The Security Council condemns the Dolgavan government for its discriminatory policy of banning the formation and activities of leftist political parties as dangerous to the democratic and electoral freedoms of her citizens and the sovereignty of the Dolgavan people, and condemns any future attempts states to hinder the ability of their constituents to freely and fairly elect their leaders by democratic means.
