October 17, 4978
Thousands of people took to the streets against the debilitating and frail government that has led the country to nowhere but stagnation and poverty. The rampant deterioration of Hawu Mumenhes has driven the President and the Prime Minister to abandon ship. For decades, the country didn't have a united national government, despite the fact that a military junta was put in place and a state of national emergency was enforced. However, this only further accelerated the deterioration of the old order. This is already the high time for the people to stand up and put the old state into ruins.
With solidarity and oneness, the proletariat of Aqqak has established a Commune, putting itself independent from the military government. Upon its establishment as a sovereign entity, it has been bombarded by troops, which only led the people to enforce greater counterattacks on them.
The rest of the nation followed suit, who created independent autonomous communities operating under post-capitalist socioeconomic principles.
The era of Communes lasted for months, along with conflicts against the military forces, which were deemed weak for the people's militias.
Under the initiative of Comrade Noah Helmsley, the governor of the Aqak Central Commune and the chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, he has called on the whole nation to launch a great offensive against the government palace.
Comrade Noah Helmsley:
To this I say to my brethren, let us march against the citadel and declare our own sovereignty, as Metz have said that we have nothing to lose but our chains. We have gotten so far. Let us not turn back.
The Revolutionary Communist Party, along with the Movement of National Democracy, and the Worker-Peasant Alliance, have formed a merger leftist vanguard that shall be the leading force of the proletarian revolution: the New LIFE Union (League of Indigents, Farmers, and Revolutionaries).
At the evening of October 15, 4978, the people made their way to the center of Aqqak, where they wave banners and slogans of revolution and democracy. The armed troops have abandoned their posts and joined the people, as they too had nothing to lose anymore.
Comrade Noah Helmsley, Chairman of the New LIFE Union and Governor of the Aqak Central Commune
Within two days, the junta has left the country, and the people triumphed. Comrade Noah Helmsley has concluded the march with an open declaration of the People's Union of Hawu Mumenhes.
Comrade Helmsley said:
Comrades, we have succeeded! Let our victory resonate from the seas and skies of our beloved country as we, the workers, take charge of what is rightfully ours! The People's Union shall therefore be born!
Along with the formal proclamation of the new state, the Command Council of the Aqak Central Commune and the Central Committee of the New LIFE Union, both headed by Noah Helmsley, assumes as the country's Interim Government.
The first decree of the Interim Government declared the Communes as the basic unit of the country that would eventually form Districts.
The primary concern of Helmsley before going forward is the drafting of a constitution for the new state, seeing this step as the first building block towards socialist reconstruction.
The people emerge victorious. Never shall the Hawu people be lied to ever again. Long live the proletariat! Long live the People's Union!
