Oskyu! Wrnuke takes lead on Majatran oil pipeline 2 September 5400 Workers reinforcing one of the older Petrovan main pipelines near Prnznrd, in wake of the Kafuri sanctions domestic oil production has soared.Almost ninety years ago the ambitious leaders of Jakania and Cobura attempted to forge a
Majatran pipeline. In 5313 the Jakanian prime minister Turgut Atalar already stated the importance of this after Trigunia showed itself to be an untrustworthy partner. The pipeline connected Jakania and Cobura but the greater Majatran dream of Atalar never came to be. Today in a special press conference with foreign press the Wrntuhiko Mustav Hizdrüz commended the efforts of Atalar, calling him a "pan-Jelbic brother" and a "
Jez Kai" (Great Man). Hizdrüz further remarked that due to the recent developments in Kafuristan and the hostile nature in the North not much be expected of the rest of the world. "Yet in Majatra we are surrounded by friends, brotherly nations, and those with the prospects of returning to our inner circle." The Wrntuhiko has given the green light to the state officials to prepare for the full normalization of relations with Beiteynu. "Wrongs of the past can be forgiven, especially when friends are required to defeat the wrongs of today," said the Wrntuhiko in his great wisdom about the change of course. The actions of the first Wrntuhiko Küntr Lahm have not been condemned, as the new Wrntuhiko emphasized that the "founder of modern Wrnuke" acted in "a search for truth and justice".
The positive messages regarding relations with Beiteynu have been met with welcoming signals from both Vascania and Beiteynu, where nations are preparing to expand their oil industry. Domestic oil production has, since the Kafuri embargo, also been expanded. While the Beiteynuese currently seem to focus on mostly shipping oil globally the Wrntuhiko and the Wise Council wish to create a greater emphasize on production within Majatra. "Along our rich coast there are many oil reserves, in beautiful
Gol Mjtre (Lake Majatra) there is still much of this black blood to be extracted." The Wrntuhiko has called upon the executives of Wrnuke's state company Petrovan to prepare for an expanded oil industry. The Wrntuhiko described his personal vision as a pipeline that covers all of western Majatra. "From one sea to another, from south to north, as the sun rises so will the oil flow." Yet these great ambitions must first make place for smaller steps, Petrovan's published plans call for a pipeline from Baofluz to Yishelem with Wrnuke as the central key where all the oil from Lake Majatra can come together. Ideally Petrovan calls for the cooperation of all nations surrounding Lake Majatra but this may be too ambitious with the contentious relationships across Majatra. For now the plans focus on Wrnuke's brotherly nation and friend Jelbe, the isolationist half-brother Brmestan and future partner Beiteynu.
