Bird oasis: Funding Boost for Raptor Conservation in Hobrazia

Hobrazian entry to FOMAT XXVII announced

Astoria City Stadium completed: Let the games begin


A new stadium in Astoria City has been completed in a landmark development for Hobrazian sports. The newly developed 75,000 seater stadium in Astoria City is expected to host professional Football and rugby matches. The stadium includes state of the art facilities to enhance the spectator experience. It comes as the government has focused on attracting tourists, and growing the tourism sector. However critics of the project have complained about it going massively over-budget at the taxpayers expense. President Meliton, attended the stadium today to declare it open, in his speech he declared the governments mission to be building a healthier, happier Hobrazia. 4 New Free industrial zones announced: Catalysts for Economic Transformation


The Hobrazian government is to set up 4 free industrial zones (FIZ) in an effort to attract FDI into Hobrazia. Businesses that set up in these zones will qualify for tax incentives, duty-free imports, VAT exemptions, simplified beuraucracy and less red tape. The FIZs will provide access to transport links motorways and railway lines helping to facilitate trade. Hobrazia announces Right to Repair: Repair, Renew, Revive

The Hobrazian government has today announced a national repair voucher scheme to encourage consumers to repair and reuse their old products, consumers can now obtain a 50% rebate on the cost of a repair. A New Economic Dawn: Hobrazian Stock market hits record highs


The Hobrazian stock market has settled at a record all-time high this evening following news that the construction of a new port has been completed in Astoria City. The new port will help facilitate global, international trade and will bring long term economic prosperity to the region. From farm to fork: Hobrazian government pledges to kick-start agricultural sector

The Hobrazian government has today published a first of its kind horticulture strategy as part of a pledge to end food poverty across Hobrazia. This strategy will allow for incentives to accelerate productivity and drive sustainability improvements within the sector, subsidies for chemical fertilisers will be abolished and subsidies will be introduced for organic inputs.
