TPC Inc. Bankrupt!

(CNNN = Rio Irkawa) One of the biggest corporation in logistics sector, Tailor-Powell Commerce Inc. gone bankrupt after several years of losses. Thousands have lost their jobs, and stock market dropped by 2.7%p. John Wilder, president of TPC made statement in HQ building of Rio Irkawa today that unstable market situation and it's losses of competivity resulted in this tragedy.
While its major opponent, Coburan Express is seeking chance for merge, stockholders of TPC rallied in front of its HQ building, saying the board of directors wasn't trying to save the company. Other investment banks also mentioned 'moral hazard' in TPC and trying to sue the board of directors for being irresponsible. Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Govenor of Central Bank met today and discussed government reaction to this economic disaster.

Early Election for Democratic Party

(CNNN = Hudson) Early election requested by Centre Party held in July, 3208. After counting votes, it is clear that Democratic Party won the election. With 89.35% of turnout, Democratic Party took majority of the National Assembly. National Assembly is once again divided by two, Democratic Party and People`s Party, 62% and 38% respectively. While Centre Party and other 3 parties remained outside of the National Assembly, leadership of Centre Party is being questioned about the suggestion of the early election.
Presidential Campaign was more dramatic, that former Prime Minister Joseph Kildon was elected by 61.04% of support. Prime Minister Joseph Kildon served as public officer for two decades and nominated as Prime Minister in Quincy administration. He led election reform and advised President about Cabinet confirmation.

(CNNN = Hudson) Minister of Defense Leo McGarry finally released the detail of 'Operation Wind Shield'. Second Fleet consist of two carrier battle group, 1st Submarine Flotilla and Eight Air Force will be sent to Darnussian Republic to defend the nation. Minister McGarry clearly said today, 'We will protect the Darnussian Republic'. While it is unclear that the National Assembly would pass a budget for expeditionary force, which is very uncommon in history of our nation, President said that this is very noble action to do. Coburan Armed Forces put to DEFCON 4, heighten readiness condition, and Coburan Forces in Darnussia will be at high alert regarding its surroundings.
Objectors insist that if our armed forces attacked by any other foreign forces, we`d have no choice but to engage. Also they mentioned that we should not intervene in civil war of other nation. Terrorist Attack against Presidential Motorcade

(CNNN = Hudson) Yesterday, October 11th, Presidential Motorcade was shot after car bombing at Hudson International Convention Center. One of the Suspects was captured and six of them were killed. President was coming back from the 'Talk to the President' held in HICC. Press secretary Julia Windell said that President was safe but 23 people dead and 41 people including six Secret Service agents were injured at the site. Suspects are identified as a racist group called 'Egato-Augustanii Alliance', which is not well known to the public. They used automatic weapons and plastic bombs and Secret Service is investigating their HQ location, financial state and weapons source.
Hudson Station and Jared River International Airport was closed for 5 hours, and police inspected every outgoing traffic from Hudson for 9 hours. Stock market dropped dramatically after the incident, but raised a little after Press Secretary confirms the safety of the President, and finished 3.6%p down. People have gathered since yesterday evening praying for recovery of the injured. President issued short statement that their action can't dissolve our union.

President Kildon Visit Deltaria

(CNNN = Naban) President have state visit to the Federal Republic of Deltaria by invitation of Deltarian Premier Frank Todd. President arrived today in capital airport in Naban, Deltaria. Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the goal of the summit is improve friendship between both nations and seek measures to maintain peace in Majatran continent. Both nation opposed Majatran Union and created Global Freedom, Equality, Security Initiative. Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Finance accompanied the president and talk to the Deltarain counterparts.

(CNNN = Hudson) Party for Individualism swept Coburan politics, by taking majority of the National Assembly. This is just three months from when PfI announced its re-foundation in Karlsburg, Tokundi. PfI grabbed 339 seats in the National Assembly, while Democratic Party took 304 seats, allowing them second largest party. Two outer-party, Centre Party and Labour Party also entered the National Assembly, taking 17 and 5 seats respectively.
In the Presidential Campaign, PfI nominee Alexander Svindal beat former president Joseph Kildon with three million margin. With majority of approval rate, presidential election ended with first round. President Svindal ordered to form the cabinet led by Prime Minister Helena Lazareva, and confirmed by the National Assembly, which they have taken. Finally, PfI`s victory ended 11 years of Democrat government.

(CNN=Hudson) After the triumph winning the 3216 election, the Party for Individualism now presented their new cabinet. Although having gained the absolute majority of votes and seats in the national assembly, the PfI build up a coalition with the Labour Party, which is represented in the assembly with 5 seats. Newly elected President Svindal thinks that "Noone alone can have all solutions o the problems a nation can face, It is always a plus to hear two opinions, which shall be achieved by including the labour party in the new coburan government. Lazareva and me hope this cabinet can make our nation a better place to live!"
This new cabinet under 48 year-old Prime Minister Helena Lazareva now takes over the power in Cobura. Lazareva is confident the upcoming 4 years will be good years for the Republic of Cobura:

"I am glad to chair this cabinet for the next years. We want to do a lot for Cobura. Starting with restructuring the coburan finances. The tax system hast to become simpler, clearer. Also my plans are to reshuffle the budgets a bit. Some minstires seem overfunded, while others are neglected."

Further President Svindal added, that he and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Debkowski, will continue the foreign policy of the former democratic party cabinet under President Kildon. It is planned to deepen the cooperation with Deltaria, which will be discussed on the next state visit.

People Oppose Jelbanian Nuke

(CNNN=Hudson) Anti-nuclear protesters total of three million people gathered across the nation to criticize Jelbanian bomb test in Majatran sea. Just after Jelbanian confirmed that they had nuclear experiment in the sea, Deltarian protesters came to the street, followed by Coburans. Leader of Coburans for Free-Nuke, Daniel Quayle said, 'Their nuclear test in the sea will cause tremendous environmental disaster'. He also said that these kind of nuclear activity will someday destroy the entire terra. Deltarian government ordered their military on high alert and condemned provocative action of Jelbanian administration. While protestings getting bigger and bigger, Coburan and Jelbanian government didn't responded to the people.

(CNNN=Baofluz) Jelbania is not well-known economic power, made 47th largest economy in the world among 58 nations. However recently elected Jelbanian government vastly expanded its armed forces, including new aircraft carrier, bombers and nuclear missiles. Defense budget of Jelbania is not public, however, it is estimated up to 60% of its government budget.
As we know, Jelbania led the formation of Majatran Union and begin aggressive policy. Jelbanian president Alexander Kennedy recently ordered assasination of Deltarina governor Josip Benko. Also they tested 75 megaton class nuclear bomb in Majatran sea. Jelbanian provacative action alarmed both Coburan and Deltarian military, and the National Assembly is voting on condeming resolution.
While their actions keep them out of international community, they are seemed to using the situation to control their people. Yet Majatran Union is not responding in this issue, several foreign officials feels that MU was also stunned by Jelbanian hostile actions.

In response to the recent hostilities between Jelbania and Deltaria, the Cobura legislature has authorized the mobilization of 200,000 soldiers. Defense Minister Lena Wais has assured Coburans that this is in no way preparation for an assault on Jelbania. Rather, it is only meant to ensure that, should it be necessary, Cobura has the power to defend herself. Some, however, wonder whether this is truly enough, and push for increased alertness and more troops.

Whether Cobura deploys more troops or not, war with Jelbania appears to be rapidly approaching. We will be ready.
