Several years ago I created a wiki article for a people that at the time I referenced as ""Gaels" and created a wiki article for them. Recently returning to Alduria after an absence I discovered that the Gaels no longer existed on wiki, in fact they had been turned into a black race (
http://particracy.wikia.com/index.php?t ... ldid=22797 to see the differences ). The justification at the time was that "Gaels" were unrealistic in southern Seleya (despite them having been RP'd at one point in both Alduria and Saridan, and despite southern Seleya having a Francophone culture, but an indiginous black race made more sense(?)). Saridan once had a large "Gaelic" population and an ooc cultural proposal (annoyingly never put to vote to provide an historical record) but it has since been deleted and the only reference to it I can find is in the following proposal
http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill. ... lid=235884 . Now Saridan is a Duntrekker nation, but as I had some role in that I am not particularly concerned.
I am currently trying to negotiate with the party that created the laughingly poor cultural protocols for Alduria for the return of a historical "Gaelic" minority in the province of Harkonia alongside the majority Francophone culture (which I have no problems with, just annoyed that immediately after I left Alduria became completely French without any reference to our long struggle against French domination), and can provide various historical proposals to back this population existing once, before disappearing. Do I have any grounds for negotiating with regards to the above wiki. It would appear that the original was obliterated without any regards to Alduria's history (apparently the black race mentioned above are also a minority in Alduria, although I can't find a record of this anywhere), is there any chance of altering it slightly to bring about a little in-game historical accuracy?
