Czar Miloš II on his deathbed, surrounded by monks and nobles

The Czar and Autocrat of Deltaria, Miloš the Second, has fallen ill due to unknown causes. As the Czar was occupied with one of his female visitors, he collapsed on the floor in the midst of uncontrollable fits. The Czar was quickly transported to a monastic hospital in Tsargrad, where the doctors were unable to determine his illness. In a brief moment of lucidity, the Czar participated in a public confession of his sins in the Wenceslas Square of the Capital, against the recommendations of his doctors. There the Czar admitted to some of his worst crimes, including killing cats and dogs by throwing them out the Palace walls, raping young women, and sending his dogmen to dispose of the victims and their families. Throughout his illness, the Czar has been showing signs of delusion and intense hallucinations, combined with an unexpected religious fervor. The Czar had been throwing himself in front of icons and banging his head against the floor, resulting in a severe injury to his forehead. On the 24th of June, feeling that his life was about to end, the Czar called for an assembly of the nobility and clergy of Deltaria, and urged them to accept his infant son, Iván, as the future Czar. The assembly declined.

A few days later, the Czar fell unconscious. According to his last wishes, he was given monastic tonsure as Brother Mikhail while lying on his deathbed. Now the whole nation awaits to see what will happen once Miloš passes away, in the midst of one of the worst political crises in Deltarian history.

Operation Deltarian Peace

GPO marines answered the call for support and arrived at Sfântul Sângeorz port in Ushalande Bay. Without finding much resistance due to insufficient funding and chaos in Deltarian army GPO peacekeepers took the control of Sfantul Sangeorz.
Humanitarian Aid Camp was set near the port to distribute food.

"We need to ensure the bloodshed, chaos and violence stops and Deltaria functions normally,", noted Asad Homeini, Fist Secretary of the Global Peacekeeper Organization, "then and only then we leave."

...and proclaims himself god

Icons such as this, commissioned by the Czar after his recovery, are being distributed to TPC churches by the Men Aside

September 3560 - After seemingly lying on his deathbed, Czar Miloš II miraculously recovered from his inexplicable illness, finding himself a monk and surrounded by members of the clergy. The Czar's first action upon his recovery was to have the monks that tonsured him into monasticism executed, after which he publicly announced his recovery, as well as his newfound belief that he is the incarnation of Saint Parnum, the highest saint of the Terran Patriarchal Pantheon. Czar Miloš appears to have experienced a number of religious visions during his illness, which persuaded him to believe himself a recipient of Boh's will. In an imperial edict, the Czar officially proclaimed his identity as Saint Parnum, and urged all Deltarians to worship him as such, under pain of eternal damnation. With the nation suffering from political turmoil and mass famine and undergoing an international armed intervention, the Czar's new ambitions are likely to further destabilize Deltaria, and to threaten the existence of the Deltarian Empire.

Viktor I, the new Czar of Deltaria

August 3563 - When it became obvious that Czar Miloš II was unfit to rule, following his controversial self-proclamation as Saint Parnum, an ad-hoc assembly of nobles, under the leadership of the Čestibor, Zlumčan, Szécsényi, and Crai (formerly known as McCray) Dynasties, meeting in secret in the city of Dolinka, the seat of the Terran Patriarchal Church, agreed to replace the Mad Czar with Viktor Watembasyn, his elder brother. Viktor is a bastard son of Ľubomír the Second, born to Furaha Sesay, a former Watemban slave and one of the Czar's mistresses. Ľubomír repeatedly refused to legitimize his first-born son, leading to much resentment between Viktor and his younger brother, the Mad Czar.

After the nobles of Deltaria proclaimed Viktor the new Czar, Miloš was killed this August when the TPC church where he was conducting religious services in his own honour was blown up, resulting in the death of 143 people, including the Czar himself. It is clear that the attack was orchestrated by the discontent nobles, with the purpose of ending the Czar's tyranny. Days later, Viktor received the Crown of Saint Štefan from the hands of Pope Concordus I, legitimating him as the fourth Czar of the restored Czardom.

Massacre of the Čestibors
Written by Dalibor Biskup

Editor-in-Chief for the 'Unquestionable Truth'

June 3568 - When the impostor Czar Miloš took Darali and the City, one of his first acts was to execute by impalement all Čestibors that could be found within the Voivodeship, accusing the family of treason against Saint Parnum and the rightful Czar of Deltaria. As Darali was the feudal demesne of the Čestibors, who held all noble titles in the Voivodeship and thus most members of the family resided in Darali, the Dynasty was almost entirely wiped out, the only survivors being the cadet branch of the family ruling in Jakania and Czar Viktor together with his wife and children, who are currently residing in city of Královice, in the Vojevodstvo of Alazinder. This act essentially puts an end to the Čestibor Dynasty, who ruled Deltaria as Czars for more than a century.

In unrelated news, the new Czar granted a number of economic concessions to the BadOil company, the nationalized oil company of the Sultanate of Badara. If False Miloš manages to eliminate all opposition to his rule and unify the Czardom, it is likely that Deltaria will enjoy improved relations with Badara and the Ahmadi Caliphate.

Juraj I set to rule Deltaria

Juraj I is now set to become the new Czar of Deltaria. Juraj comes from the Crai dynasty, formerly known as McCray. The McCray's only became nobility after their family accumulated a vast amount of wealth through government contracts and their large plantations across the nation.

MILOS II THE SAINT PASSED AWAY TODAY

January 3575
After his return as Czar of Deltaria,Milos II was also proclaimed a saint.Nevertheless he passed away to the arms of god today in 3.44 am after a stroke.According to his own proclamation the only legitimate heir to the Crown of Saint Stefan and the throne of Deltaria is his 6year old son Ivan.Since a child is obviously not able to rule, late Milos II had already appointed his distant nephew,Tomislav Cestibor (also a minister) as Regent of Deltaria,Guardian of the young Czar and Protector of the Realm.
The government of Revolutionist movement is about to legitimize Tomislav Cestibor's rule by passing a bill proposed by Kancelar(Chancellor) Bogdan Saderovic himself, limiting of course the regent's powers.

Deltarian Chancellor accused of being "Zardic influenced",by his Highness the Lord Regent
Reporter Tomas Vorotny

January 3577
After his recent visit in Zardugal,Chancellor Bogdan Saderovic has been actively seeking ways to strengthen the relations between Deltaria and Zardugal. This apparently has not been very popular inside the court of Kralovice and it has attracted the attention of his Highness the Lord Regent of Deltaria,Tomislav Cestibor.
The Lord Regent has taken immediate action against the Chancellor by proposing a bill to reshuffle the cabinet in order to take the "corrupt" Chancellor out of office.
The international community awaits to see the outcome of this power struggle.

Chancellor Saderovic ousted,Lord Regent acquires Chancellors

Postby TheCaesar » Sat Nov 16, 2013 12:05 pm

After the proposed cabinet reshuffle, former Chancellor Saderovic was kicked out of office in an unanimous decision of the Deltarian Veste. The position was occupied by His Highness the Lord Regent of Deltaria,Tomislav Cestibor, who has vowed to bring glory back to Deltaria after the Fall of Risa and the reign of the treacherous Chancellor and his associates.
This was a very bad news for all observers who believed that Zardugal and Deltaria could have good relations and bring an end to fighting in the region.
