Jakania and Malivia to Establish Full Diplomatic Relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs announces plans to establish full diplomatic relations with Malivia

Jakania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Kamil Hakim, announced today that Jakania will have full diplomatic relations with Malivia. The Minister said that his department will fulfil the Sultan's wish to promote friendship and cooperation between Malivia and Jakania in political, cultural and most importantly economic fields - without fail. He added that his ministry is currently in the process of drafting an agreement that will determine what kind of relationship that Jakania and Malivia will have. This document will be ready next year for the two nations to ratify.

The Minister has also expressed the Sultan's desire to establish economic and diplomatic ties with Kalopia which he too will fulfil with haste. The military strongly supports the wishes of the Sultan.

Sultan Faisal III Signs Treaty with the Holy Luthori Empire

The agreement for Jakania to become a protectorate of Luthori signifies Jakania's golden age known as the "Rise of the Phoenix"

Sultan Faisal III, in a rare televised appearance, was shown signing a treaty in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakania, with Prince Kamil Hakim seated at his right side and a representative from Luthori seated at his left side to act as a witness. After signing the treaty, Sultan Faisal III faced the camera and abruptly announced that Jakania is now officially a Luthori protectorate. A protectorate protected diplomatically and militarily against those who seek to harm Jakania.

After Sultan Faisal III left the ministry with a reportedly sullen look on his face, a military spokesman announced that Jakania will see its army, economy and administration modernized with the aid of Luthori's powerful economy. The spokesman added that this is Jakania's golden age, the Rise of the Phoenix.

Jakania Establishes Diplomatic Ties with Malivia


Jakania and Malivia have established diplomatic relations, the Jakanian government announced yesterday.

Two months ago, Prince Kamil Hakim visited Malivia and signed the Jakanian-Malivia Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Aid establishing diplomatic relations between the two nations. Malivia is said to provide arms worth of 100 billion LOD yearly to Jakania and Jakania to provide oil worth of 50 billion LOD to Malivia.

Reports have leaked out of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that Kalopia has referred to Jakania as land of barbarians and will not negotiate with Jakania. However, this report has not been verified by either the government of Jakania or Kalopia.

Prince Kalam Abujmal Forced to Resign, Emir Hammoud Abujmal is the New Grand Vizier

Grand Prince Kalam Abujmal announced today that he has decided to resign from his honourable post as Grand Vizier and hand it over to the Head of the Abujmal Clan, Emir Hammoud Abujmal. His reason for his resignation was that he could no longer handle the stresses of his duties and has instead given it up for a simpler life in the countryside.

Sultan Faisal III has expressed his dissatisfaction with Prince Kalam Abujmal's decision to resign, but accepted his resignation and recommendation to have Emir Hammoud Abujmal assume the office of Grand Vizier.

Prince Kalam Abujmal is reported to have recently lost the support of the military and has received anonymous death threats for the past several months. Abujmal is also noted to have a very close relationship with Sultan Faisal III. Many believe that those are reasons as to why Abujmal decided to resign and give the position to someone who is more submissive to the army.

Jakania's golden age

Ending the Makhdoom's dominance in Jakania's politics in 3737 signified the restoration of the sultan's power.

Years after the events of stripping the Makhdooms of all power in 3737, a series of reforms to the country's political system were made which eventually made Sultan Faisal III the absolute ruler of Jakania. These reforms brought enormous changes in Jakania's political and social structure. Various noble families lost their power and many revolted, but were quickly quelled by the growing number of support for a strong leadership. Turjaks were granted equal rights accorded to a citizen of Jakania. Turjakistan was also granted self-government.

The military's leadership structure also underwent major changes. Before, the military swore absolute allegiance to the Grand Commander, but now they swear an oath of allegiance to the Sultan ensuring absolute loyalty.

As for the economy, the sultan made great use of the country's agreement with Luthori and Malivia made under the leadership of the Makhdooms, spearheading the recovery from Jakania's declining economy. There is an ongoing rapid industrialisation and modernization of Jakania financed by the Luthori Empire.

This morning, Sultan Faisal III issued a televised statement condemning the actions of the Luthori government in Alduria. He added that Alduria should have the right to decide whether they want to be an independent country or remain part of the Luthori Empire. However, the Sultan supports Luthori's aggressive attempts to restore security and stability in Alduria before moving on to any initiative for dialogue.

Sultan Faisal III Forms the Luthori's Majatran Legion Dedicated to Fighting for the Luthori Empire

Luthori's Majatran Legion

Several months ago, Sultan Faisal III received a letter from the Luthori Emperor demanding that Jakania declare war on Luthori's enemies. Sultan Faisal III responded to the letter by writing that Jakania is ill-prepared and therefore will not declare war for the meantime. Instead, he has promised to the Luthori Emperor that he will form a new military division that will be well equipped and consist of elite "volunteers". A unit issued with imported advanced weaponry coming from Malivia, Luthori and Zardugal.

In December 3738, Sultan Faisal III issued a royal decree for the Armed Forces of Jakania to form a new a military division, to be named "Luthori's Majatran Legion". The new military division is for Majatrans willing to serve and fight for the Luthori Empire. It is said to be the most advanced, modern, disciplined and powerful military division in Jakania if not the whole of Majatra. In January 3739, the size of the division is said to be around 150,000 and are now waiting for Luthorian ships to take them aboard. Sultan Faisal III has appointed Prince Yamal Amirmoez as its commander and if necessary the future Governor-General of Alduria. Prince Yamal Amirmoez is said to be a ruthless person who flays his enemies alive. However, he is a brilliant tactician who has won many battles during the war against the Makhdooms and is a heavily decorated General.

Volunteers include elite soldiers from Kalopia, Jakania, Al-Badara and Kafuristan who come to join seeking fame and wealth in the growing prosperity of Jakania.

Sultan Faisal III Warns Malivia Not to Destroy the Friendship!

Jakanian-Malivia Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Aid

Sultan Faisal III is becoming increasingly concerned over the possibility that Malivia will declare war on Luthori. Today, the Sultan has decided to take action and has made a televised announcement warning Malivia that if they declare war on Luthori, they risk becoming enemies with Jakania. The Sultan urges Malivia not to destroy the friendship or Jakania will stop exporting 60 Billion Lod worth of oil and will withdraw from the treaty they've signed in 3735.

The treaty signed between Maliva and Jakania in the year 3735, states that should Jakania get involved in a conflict, Malivia is obliged to join in Jakania's conflict as her ally. This can be read under Section III, Article V.

Multiple volunteers from Luthori have pledged allegiance to HIM of Luthori and decided to serve in the newly developed Luthori's Majatran Legion in Jakania. Numbers of citizens joining range in the hundred to two hundred thousands.

Prince Yamal the Ruthless Turjak, Leads His Army To Victory in Kalopia!

Prince Yamal gives a rousing speech in Jelbo-Tukaric to his army after their aggressive one day naval bombardment of Kalopia's coast!

Once Luthori's 15th fleet arrived in Jakania, Prince Yamal Amirmoez assumed command over the fleet and had the Luthori's Majatran Legion embarked. However, instead of heading straight towards Luthori, Prince Yamal sent his warships to bombard the entire coast of Kalopia. Some small coastal cities saw destruction and the deaths of many innocent civilians. The Kalopian government, fearing the strong Luthori ships, could do nothing but watch idly the chaos and bombings engulfing some of their coastal cities on tv.

After one day of naval bombardment, Prince Yamal the Ruthless turned the direction of his fleet and headed towards Luthori. The Sultan was shocked when news reached of this unauthorised attack on Kalopia and immediately ordered the mobilisation of the whole country for war. Jakania's new military is now flexing its muscles as there is now a large troop build up along the border with Kalopia. However, the Sultan is unwilling to declare war. Instead, he has sent frantic messages to the Kalopian government apologising for the perfidious attacks and promising pay for the damages caused. The Sultan is dying and so does not want to leave behind a country that will be preoccupied with war instead of concentrating on the rapid industrialisation and modernization of Jakania.

Prince Yamal's reasons for attacking Kalopia is unknown. But many speculate that he is sending a stern warning to Majatran nations that if they go against Luthori they will taste the might of Luthori's power.
