Point of order!
A total of 200 votes have been registered for the elections of the Chancellor of the SSU. 143 have been cast.

Therefore these should be the real results:
In favour: 132 votes (66%);
Abstain: 57 votes (28.5%);
Against All: 11 votes (5.5%).

The Chancellor has been elected with 66% of all votes.

We do not favour the current outline of the High Command of the SSU. We have the Chief Councillor of Armed Forces and Intelligence, who is responsible for civil oversight of the military, as well as planning necessary capabilities, allocating funds, determining priorities, etc.

We favour a policy which would foresee the formation of the High Command of the SSU as a unified entity foreseeing close integration of all High Commands of its member-states, in this case Alduria and Mordusia. As a result we would get a High Command that would have two regional/national branches. The affairs of the High Command would be set entirely under the auspice of the military commanders, in accordance to the political guidance provided by the Chancellor, the member-states.

In practical terms, the High Command should first of all deal with the integration of national branches of the armed forces into a unit that its flexible and able to act in concert with each other. One of these aspects is, for example, the establishment of Joint Air Control and Joint Air Defence Systems that would include elements of both member-states.

The High Command should also have dual leadership, meaning that the Chief of Staffs of both member-states are in charge.

Abstentions are not votes. Out of eligible voters your statistics may be correct, however out of votes cast ours are correct.
