Breaking to HBC: Former Leader Derrick Philos to Face Trial and Possible Death Penalty
Several sources within the Peole have stated that Derrick Philos, former Head of State of Hobrazia before the November Revolution, may possibly face trial and execution under current legislation being debated by the Peole. Ever since the government banned free press communication, all news has been sent through the underground and even our very company has had to relocate to Malivia.
The sources state that Supreme Commander Dimitri Sikofski is wants Philos' head but feels that he needs approval from the Peole in order to legitimize what could otherwise be seen as regicide.
These sources state that the ruling party within the Peole - the Hobrazi Union - is divided. Minister of Justice Darjean Spartak (Hobrazi Union) has supposedly spoken out in favor of protecting Mr. Philos. Meanwhile, there is no word yet on what stance the Communist Party of Hobrazia will take as the removal of Mr. Philos has also apparently been tied a proposal to amend the Constitution and allow for a Head of State election.
Stay tuned as the HBC shall keep you posted as more information becomes available...
