Resources: Forum-Based Countries Information

Postby Moderation » Sat Jan 12, 2019 6:52 am

Forum-based countries (FBC or FBCs) are the countries shown in the large grey area on the eastern section of the in-game world map. FBCs are not playable in-game, but are playable in terms of roleplay; players can have full control over political, economic and other affairs but are restricted in terms of the cultural and historical background based on the descriptions provided in this thread, in accordance with Section 9 (Forum-Based Countries) of the Game Rules.

Traditionally, FBCs have been known by various names such as "former colonies" and the "Third World", meaning that historically FBCs were colonial possessions of the in-game countries but have been independent and independently developed since then, beyond their position as former colonies. FBCs partake in the World Congress and other intergovernmental organisations just like in-game countries and can even elect a representative for Seat E of the Security Council.

Players can request control of FBCs with the name of the country and a summary of the intended roleplay, here.
