Election results today in Lourenne could not be clearer. After a long election period, Marc Giltroix and conservatives
lost their mandate in Lourenne. In an electoral landslide, the Humanitarian/Green Faction retook the majority in the
Royal Assembly and was able to retake the High Chancellery from Giltroix. During the nomination process, the Greens
and Humanitarians nominated Marine Ngozi, a Human Rights Lawyer from St.Madeleine who was a former member of
the Royal Assembly. Marc Giltroix, of course was the nominee who was chosen by the conservatives, who before the
election, were in the majority. Two hours after the polls closed, it was obvious that Ngozi would win the election after
results showed Ngozi had increased support in several metro area suburbs, which often decide elections. Ngozi
declared victory at 9:23 P.M. at her election headquarters in St.Madeleine. She made history as the first Dalehi-Canrillaise
person in Lourenne to win a High Chancellery election. Ngozi's parents were immigrants from Statrica who made a life
for Marine in Lourenne during Ex-High Chancellor Valence's administration. Ngozi stated that her plans for Lourenne
mirrored Valence's. Ngozi plans to reform Lourenne's judicial system, increase the funding for green energy, finish the
last administration's military reforms, and reform the economic systems of the nation which were damaged by the
conservatives. Political analysts believe that the conservative's weak economic policy and attempts to rid millions from
their healthcare was the final nail in the coffin. Ngozi hopes to use her majority in the Royal Assembly to begin massive
spending reforms and a tax policy overhaul to begin expanding the economy after the conservative administration
reduced incomes and brought in military debt. For now the nation celebrates as a new, historic administration is set
to reform the kingdom after years of economic and social instability.
