Terran Cricket Council rebrands as World Cricket following relocation to Luthori
14 June 5333
The international governing body for cricket has announced that it will rebrand. Beginning next year, the Terran Cricket Council (TCC) will be known as World Cricket. The objective of the change is to promote the global growth of cricket in the modern world. In the past century, the governing body has emphasised expanding the sport in new countries.
The rebranding comes less than a year after the organisation moved its headquarters to Fort William in Luthori. Since the organisation’s foundation in 3801, it has been based in Aloria. In recent centuries, the emergence of new powers in international cricket has produced pressure to relocate. Fort William was selected partly due to is location. Luthori is located between the major cricketing powers of Vascania and Tropica in the west, and Mordusia and Saridan in the east. Luthori is also recognised as the historic birthplace of the sport.
